I cannot recommend Floor Pros enough. We just replaced carpeting in 3 bedrooms with engineered wood flooring. We wanted to match the existing wood flooring as closely as possible. Simply put, Albert Ramos and his team nailed it. From start to finish the process took a couple weeks, including the time it took to source the product. Install was only 3 days. The crew was very sensitive to my family's needs in scheduling which rooms would be installed at which time. They finished the project by cleaning the new flooring in each room and I found very little evidence that work had just taken place apart from the fact that we had beautiful new wood flooring. I really wanted to give this local company a good review, however, I'm not a happy customer. I hired this firm to repair some damaged hardwood floor boards and refinish my home office floor. They appeared to do a good job. Unfortunately, the next day when I began to put my office back together, I realized there was still a damaged floor board that needed to be fixed. I sent an email to the representative I was working with, Juan Vargas, telling him about the situation, and attached a photo. I followed up with a phone call several days later asking for the workman to come out (I live two miles away from the business) and take a look. He informed me that nothing could be done since he considered the job finished. And then he proceeded to ghost me. So, I guess my review is; they do good work until they don't, and then you're on your own. Why take a chance when there are so many other highly reviewed floor service providers in the area. read more

We are so disappointed in the sloppiness of this installation. They knifed our walls, taking chunks out of the brand new construction. The installation was uneven and lumpy. When we asked them to fix it they said they would double charge for the fix, and we have to re-use the same installed carpeting. We are disappointed in the quality and customer service. read more

Since March 27th I've been dealing with Julio with issues on my newly installed luxury vinyl planks. It has been less than one year since the install when I noticed onee of the planks was lifting up. I've also noticed other areas which will eventually may do the same. Julio stated this is normal as the planks settle over time and it's an easy fix. They came out to 'repair' the area on April 17, May 20, and August 9 all which were unsuccessful. Every time the 'fix' has gotten worse. I've since texted, called, and went in person to the store to speak with Julio. At this point he's avoiding me. Julio is a typical sales person and doesn't deliver on his promise. The last visit to the store, I showed the pictures of the area to another store employee, and he said that the repair wasn't done properly and they can't just remove the one plank and they need to remove several to properly fix the area. I've spent over $10k to install new LVP to my remodeled home and the quality and customer service is poor and inferior. read more

Poor quality control, very high turnover... Had a worker who told me he was getting fired and promoting his new flooring company. Unprofessional. Had some issues with their work, they refused to come back to fix it. A very short warranty of a year on their labor, prob bc the quality is so bad. Most flooring warranties go up to 3 years, 10 years, 25 years.. reported these issues to the company, refused to fix it even though I paid. It was my job as the customer to have the guy come a THIRD time to fix all of his mistakes (stain not matching, stain all over the drywall, messing up my baseboard molding they fixed, painting, etc.) Shocked they're still in business read more

Terrible work and awful customer service. DO NOT USE! What an awful waste of thousands of dollars. Floor "Pros" re finished my hardwood floors in my house. Cost = $4,000. Told at the time of the job that the finish should last at least 5 years, probably more. Here we are 2 years later and the coating they put on is peeling everywhere. I've attached pictures but it basically makes the floors look worse than when they were first coated. I contacted them to try to make it right. They came out to the house and I had a nice conversation and the rep seemed to get it and said he woudl talk to his boss. This is when their care for thier work and customers started to shine through. It took me 2 emails and 5 text messages on different days for them to get back to me with a resolution. "It will be in your email today" meant "I don't plan on actually getting back to you" and when I finally got iritated, he sent me a quote for a full price job to re-do the floors. Meaning their 5 year minimum expectation was less than half delivered and instead of trying to do right, they saw it as an earlier chance to ring the register for a repeat customer. For a "discount" they offered to through in furniture moving for free! Wow 30 minutes of labor for free? Bottom line: They don't stand by their work and I can attest that the work is not adequate by anyone's standard. They don't care about their customers, their reputation, or doing the right thing. These are the companies that customers must let fail so that honorable hard working companies can take their place. Please avoid. read more

His team of craftsmen, lead by Manuel, crated exceptional results at my custom newly built Manhattan Beach home. Manuel is an artist. he deftly color matched steps and trim to a difficult to match floor material. It's inspiring to know their are still people like Manuel that truly care and take pride in their craft. It was a project with many out of the ordinary work timing requirements. We are very happy with our new LVP floor, which was installed upstairs and downstairs in our townhome by Floor Pros. Julio, Chris, and Eric were all fantastic. Julio, the project manager, gave me a quick estimate, and then provided contract updates within a day when I wanted to change the scope of the work. He pointed out things that I would not have thought of (like removing the closet door tracks), provided a choice of different baseboards, and also came up with a great solution to work with our new stairway. He saved me a lot of worry! Chris and Eric did the installation and they were amazing. They fixed my squeaky plywood subfloor, filled the holes in the concrete floor, and got all the details right where the floor met doors, cabinets, and other floors. They answered all my questions (of which there were many), and even worked around me as I worked from home. They were very thorough in putting plastic over all our furniture and sealing off areas as they worked. They were also careful with our items as they moved them from side to side as they installed the flooring in each room. Installation nightmare of engineered hardwood floor by Floor Pros located on Artesia Blvd in Lawndale. Sales people give a good talk but installation was a disorganized mess. First crew was reassigned after an hour, second crew lasted a day, third crew supervisor never got advised by salesperson how flooring was supposed to be installed, and started the install wrong. Install crew never acknowledged breaking a ceiling fixture outside condo elevator, despite a resident witnessing them. Install crew didn't speak English, therefore never asked a question if unsure of how to do something. My advice is go with a smaller company where there is more training and supervision of the people actually doing the work. read more

Unprofessional- They never called to schedule the installation. They called me once they got to location. Very unprofessional! Stacy was very confrontational and had very poor attitude. I would never do business with this company. Spoke to Walter Franko the manager who didn't care the least bit. I decided to cancel my order because he didn't want to hear my issue. Now everything is set back! The good thing is there are carpet stores all over town!!! Home Depot does a much better job and here I am trying to give the small business owners like myself support! Don't do business with this company!!! If he would have listened and apologized for poor behavior of his employees the sales rep for not scheduling and the operator Stacy for being rude I would have settled with a rescheduled installation but no one wanted to take ownership of the problem. NEVER use this company!!! My carpet didn't even last a year before it started to unravel. The installation was horrible. They guys took all the extra pieces and didn't leave me any touch up pieces even though there was a lot. When I called to complain they gave me attitude and when I threatened to take them to small claims court they hung up on me. Ended up much lighter than as was with stain all over baseboards and walls. Even had bare spots. Carpet installation in Two bedrooms was even worse. After 2 years carpet is bunching up in all kinds of weird patterns. Will need to be re-stretched in near future. I would recommend you avoid at all costs. We had a great experience with Julio Perez and his team of installers. Because the original hardwood was quite messed up from a prior flood, we requested 1/4" plywood be used as a base to even out the flooring before the new hardwood was installed. We have a spiral staircase and they did an amazing job around the base, just flawless. Kudos to Carlos on that. They matched the height of the kitchen and bathroom tile so that no threshold was needed. After the main install, we found we needed a little extra shaving off the bottom of our exterior door to fit the threshold we chose, and Julio came right away and did a quick and excellent job. All said, we would recommend Carpet Pros without hesitation, they did a great job at a very fair price. read more

The installation guys destroyed every closet doors and shelves while doing their job. They got warned by neighbors because they threw out old carpet from 3rd floor window. Now my home is all covered by broken doors, shelves and dusts. The carpet is not seamlessly installed either. They also forgot to shut the window, so when I went there after work, some inserts flew in to the room which looked dirty. If you want to get your home all messed up with carpet poorly installed, this is the place. read more
