But I understand that Fratelli's rotates dishes in their buffet, so the chicken dish may or may not be in future buffets. The buffet included your typical waffle station. What happened next is what concerned me most. A white male customer came in after me, and she immediately approached him and asked how she could help. She then stopped another employee and specifically asked him to assist that customer. His order wasn't ready either, yet he received immediate attention while I continued to sit there without any acknowledgment or update. After approximately another 10 minutes, a different employee finally noticed me and asked if I had been helped. As a biracial man, I can't say what motivated the difference in treatment, and I don't want to make an accusation I can't substantiate. What I can say is that the difference in how we were treated was noticeable and made me extremely uncomfortable. Watching someone who arrived after me receive immediate attention and assistance while I was essentially ignored was difficult to overlook. Regardless of the reason, no customer should be made to feel invisible. Having been a customer since 2023, I genuinely hope management takes this seriously. So not really on them. I tried the seasonal mocktail (wish I remembered the one I got), calamari, and the penne all a vodka with chicken as my protein. Everything was presented well and tasted great. I am very interested to return to try some of their other items on the menu.
