    Sunday Night Lasagna
    Ashley D.

Pros- we were able to get a reservation for 9 people on the same day with very little hassle. The food is good. The dishes are good. The drinks are good. The decor and the vibes are also good. Not a pro not a con- our waiter seemed like she was in a rush. While she was attentive she just seemed stand offish. I had the Sunday lasagna and it was good - the sauce was a little watery but it was still good. My fave was the focaccia bread and pistachio whipped ricotta. So yummy, I didn't get a picture. We also had the shrimp scampi and the pig pizza. All crowd faves.

A delicious surprise for our first visit here. Our group dropped in after a night of playing VR next door and glad to have stumbled in. Our group of 10 was able to be seated right away and opted for outdoors to enjoy the nice weather. The service was very fast and helpful with our orders. The food came out prepared fresh and the portions were just right. Located in the same complex with the Whole Foods in Tysons with parking available along the street or in the garage. Overall, a great experience and will be back again. Enjoy!

Came here for a Saturday brunch with my family and we all had a lovely time. Even though I had made a reservation, the restaurant wasn't very crowded, which made for a calm and relaxed atmosphere and great for conversation. Our server was friendly and efficient, which I appreciated. One small suggestion would be to offer a separate coffee menu when guests are seated, alongside the brunch menu, since I was not really looking for alcoholic or sweeter drink options. The food was thoughtfully prepared and overall very enjoyable. I ordered the Morning Market Board, which included a frittata, salad, and hearth bread. The frittata was simple with caramelized onion but still quite flavorful. The burrata paired nicely with the grilled bread, and I especially liked the grilled asparagus in the refreshing salad. My partner had the Sunday Night Lasagna, which was rich, cheesy, and satisfying. The only minor issue was that a spoon would have been helpful for a saucy dish like that since it is a bit tricky to manage with just a fork and knife. My cappuccino was average but still enjoyable. Overall, this is a pleasant brunch spot with a quieter vibe than expected, making it a nice place to relax and catch up. I would definitely come back to try more dishes.

Came for the food and Waad! My first time at North Italia was nothing short of amazing. The truffle garlic bread is to die for, and I don't usually order bread as an appetizer. This location offers a pleasant patio vibe, enjoyable on a Saturday evening. Waad has excellent customer service, almost like she was trained by Forbes Customer Service!

This place was delicious! The garlic bread was so fluffy and the butter that came with it beautifully complimented the bread. The spicy vodka rigatoni pasta is to die for. The sauce is perfectly spicy with chucks of bacon. The pasta is made in-house so it is perfectly chewy and cooked to perfection. The pizza was also oven baked. The crispy crust was the best part! I absolutely recommend this place if you want delicious Italian food with a good vibe:)

Really good upscale chain. We come heee a few times and it's great. Easy to get reservations, even for larger parties. Food is great and prices are reasonable. I found on street parking, but lots of garages nearby.

Enjoyed a 2026 Winter Restaurant Week lunch with a friend here this past weekend. Love how the regular and RW menu is flexible letting you swap in gf pasta or veg noodles for a few dollars. Chicken parmigiana was nice and crispy, and the carrot noodles I ended up getting as a sub actually went really well with the main because the sauce had a kick to it that balanced the sweetness of the carrots. My friend and I both started with the arugula and fennel salad, which is super crisp and light and a good portion. Also appreciated the mocktail selection as we both stick with Dry January.

We decided to try North Italia because it was close to the hotel and we are suckers for Italian food. We didn't have reservations but still got seated right away. We got the grilled bread and good olive oil, bolognese, and spicy rigatoni vodka. The grilled bread with good oil was yummy but the balsamic maybe on the side would've been more ideal in my opinion. It kinda soaked too much into the bread. Our pastas were really good though. We both cleaned our plates. Definitely would come here again.

Easy spot for our entire family to enjoy! Food is great, usually unless they get busy. Kid friendly. Parking available in the garage with 2 hour validation Love the pizza, pasta and garlic bread is a must

Had a great dinner at North Italia! We ordered the meatballs to start, followed by the Margherita pizza, and the ricotta cavatelli with lump crab and shrimp. Everything was flavorful and well prepared--especially paired with a crisp Sauvignon Blanc. Service was friendly and attentive, even though the place was absolutely packed. The atmosphere was lively in a good way, but definitely recommend making reservations because it fills up fast. Overall, a delicious meal, good vibes, and a solid spot for Italian cravings. Would definitely return!

    Italian Cobb Salad

Got the Cobb salad this time. Very unique take on typical Cobb. Tasted like charcuterie salad. Really enjoyed it ! Pictured is a half serving which was generous ! Ordered other things such as artichoke app but don't recommend that - very little edible artichoke on the plate. Mostly exterior tough parts. We also shared the shrimp scampi - delicious, and the beets side which had a tasty horseradish sauce. Unusual combo but it worked well ! Service is always friendly and ambiance is cozy.

It's been years since dining at North Italia. Went for dinner on a Saturday in the restaurant was pretty packed both inside and outside seating. Looked like homecoming was in full swing. The best thing we ordered was probably the simple salad - the oregano dressing was delicious. Aside from that, everything else was disappointing. The calamari fritti was way over battered. They look like onion rings coming out. The arugula avocado salad was super disappointing, we can make a better version at home. We tried two pastas - cavatelli and spicy vodka rigatoni. The cavatelli was super overcooked - pasta was completely mushy. The rigatoni pasta was cooked better but still not great. Our server also wasn't attentive - we had to ask for water refills multiple times and really track her down for boxes. Parking is validated for the movie theater garage and Flower Child garage.

Bar experience: It took 7 minutes before anyone acknowledged me and I was right by the pick up for drinks to go to tables so many people saw that I was there and waiting to order, once I finally did get a menu I ordered and service was quick then. 3/5 Dinner experience: We had a reservation for 17 and the servers were exceptional. Drink and appetizer orders were taken immediately, the calamari was very flavorful, and the two boards were great for the group to share. Our waitress recommended the truffle bread and that was delicious too! Everyone's entree came out at the same time, stars were eggplant parm, seafood pasta, and the branzino. I was very impressed by the service and quality for such a large party. Our main waitress even took photos for us! To top It off the tiramisu was really rich and flavorful. I'll definitely be back for a big party reservation. 5/5

Spicy Rigatoni Vodka Pasta - delicious, but definitely has a kick to it.

The staff has always been friendly and attentive. On this visit, we ordered the appetizer sampler, lamb chops, and the Adana kabab. Everything was excellent. The appetizer sampler is a great way to start the meal, the lamb chops were cooked perfectly, and the Adana kabab was flavorful and well seasoned. My only disappointment came at the end of the meal. We were planning to order dessert, but the kitchen had already closed. It would have been nice if our server had stopped by a few minutes earlier to let us know the kitchen was about to close and ask if we wanted to order anything else. That small bit of communication would have made the experience even better. Overall, this is still a great restaurant with delicious food, excellent service, and a beautiful atmosphere. Just keep in mind that the kitchen may close earlier than you expect, so if you're thinking about dessert or another course, order it before the kitchen shuts down.

I had not seen this dear friend for over a year and so we met in the lobby and decided to just "stay in" and enjoy Entyse. From the moment the extremely gracious host seated us--after asking several questions about our preferences--to our departure four hours later, it was a really great evening. Narciso, who took care of us, was just fantastic--kind, funny, polite, and just the right amount of attentive. When we mentioned it was a little bit of a reunion for us, he immediately moved to make the evening special. Extra this and extra that started showing up at the table. The wine pours were so generous we joked we would have to stay for hours. A gorgeous dessert showed up out of the blue with Narciso smiling behind it. When we asked how long he had been with the Ritz and he told us at least two decades, we were not surprised, given his professional grace and ease. Delicious Indian restaurant - great happy hour and brunch spot!…read more The happy hour from 4pm-7pm Monday-Fri is an amazing deal. I ordered 2 dishes and a cocktail for under $20! I requested for the Paneer Tikka Flatbread (not on the menu)- vegetarian version of the Chicken Paneer Tikka Flatbread. The naan pizza was delicious, it was stuffed with cubes of paneer with a side of Tikki Masala dipping sauce. Highly recommend it! You can get the Paneer Pizza next door too! The Paneer Tacos were filling and fun to try, but large chunky blocks of paneer. While I enjoyed the spicy mayo sauce, I wish the paneer was cut up into cubes. It just felt a bit heavy with the paneer. The Spinach Artichoke Fritters (4) were tasty. The Mango Mojito and the Mumbai Mule cocktail weren't that good, but it honestly it's hard to complain when it's only $6/drink. The unlimited weekend brunch at $38 is a great deal and well worth it! You can choose from over a dozen Indian fusion dishe - as a bonus mango lassi, chai, and soft drinks are included! You can order 2 dishes/person at a time and the servers hastily swing by to clear your plates and place your next order! Between the 3 of us, we ordered almost conquered the full brunch menu and had a delightful brunch feast! The food had a spicy kick, but not overpowering and wasn't greasy. The portions range from small, bite-size apps to full, large entree size. There's a lot of vegetarian dishes on the menu with a few non-veg as well. There's a good balance between traditional Indian dishes and Western fusion with a hint of American flavors/presentation. My favorite stand-outs: - Aam Chat Papri with crispy Papri pita like chips with mango, chick peas, and potatoes smothered in yogurt and chutney, and topped with spicy garam masala mix - Chana Bhatura with chick pea curry and fluffy, bubbly fried bread. Large portion. - Spinach and Artichoke Fritters - Crispy bite-size balls filled with creamy spinach artichoke dip, 4 come in an order and perfect for sharing! - Aloo Bravas - Crispy, diced potatoes very reminiscent of the Spanish Patatas Bravas with aioli sauce and mild masala spicy kick - Butter Chicken - My friend enjoyed it, solid full entree size. I didn't order or try it in, but it looked pretty tasty and could easily why she made a happy empty plate! - Nutella Bread Pakora - Tastes like a bites-size Nutella fried donut! So good we ordered another one! - Helluva Hallawa Trio - I enjoyed sampling the 3 types of Hallawa, ranging in savory (carrot) to more sweet and milky (my favorite). - Mango Lassi - The sweetness of the mango lassi helped to balance out and absorb the spiciness of the food. - Masala Chai - Great ending to a meal, perfectG caffeine pick me up! Paired well with the Nutella bread Pakora. The other dishes on the menu were fun to try, but would probably skip and save room for my faves: - Aloo Sabzi and Katchuri - The dense hollow shell katchuri (similar to a round empanada) made of dhal lentil smothered in Aloo potato curry sabzi was very filling and dense. After a couple of bites, I threw in the towel. - Egg Burgi and Paratha - The masala spicy scrambled egg on paratha flatbread was kind of bland and a very small portion. - Mango Mimosa - While the mimosas were only $4, it was quite tangy and didn't pair well with the meal. I wish fresh mango juice was used instead of mango flavored juice (tastes like Izzy). The lunch buffet (Mon - Fri 12pm - 2:30pm for $23 wasn't the best experience. Admittedly, I came to the buffet at 1:30pm and the food was tepid and sadly overcooked under the heat lamp. The plates were very small and it was hard to fit a bunch of food. I went to the buffet at least 3 or 4 times to try out the dishes in search of the perfect bite, which I sadly couldn't. There were 5 main standard dishes with 3 vegetarian dishes (Dal Makhani, Aloo Ghobi, and Mehti Paneer) and 2 non-veg featuring both chicken dishes (Butter Chicken and Chicken Curry) and a galore of fried fritters/pakoras (spinach, onion, potato) with a couple of new rotating stations with Pani Puri (not much going on) and Spinach Tikki and Fish Pakora fried fritters. The Mehti Paneer was quite greasy with a coat of grease at the top and the paneer was pretty stiff. It wasn't tender. The Dal Makhani was bland. The potato aloo potatoes were brittle as they were sitting under the heat lamp too long. The best part about the meal was the fluffy naan, which was made-to-order. I enjoyed 2 rounds! Order the Masala Dosa crispy! When we got it the 1st time on the lunch special, it was a bit rubbery and soggy. After the server asked us a few times whether we liked it, my hubby relented and told him the honest answer. The server got the dosa re-made to go extra crispy, which did the trick! The masala potatoes paired well with the dosa. I wasn't a fan of the Sambar. Based on the glowing brunch and happy hour experience, I would come back to try the lunch buffet with an early start right when it opens!

The service was warm and attentive, and we still had an amazing time. I've already booked omakase for next week and can't wait to come back! The place has great vibes. Highly recommend!! And the HANDROLLS WERE THE BEST WE'VE EVER HAD!!! forgot to mention how amazing the food was. Yummy!

At least not in the DMV area where there are simply so many better options. Some friends and I were finally special enough to be granted a reservation and the whole experience was meh. I was a bit late so I checked in at Wren and then was walked back to the elevator to go up to their gym. From there you walk to a door. Once I got there and pulled on the door, a very dissatisfied hostess warned me not to do that. She walked me in and pointed me to an area but that wasn't even where my friends were sitting. Go figure! The decor left a lot to be desired and it was super bright inside. Right away the vibe was off. What speakeasy is bright? Definitely none that I've been to before. We each just ordered a drink and split an appetizer before dinner reservations at Wren. Once again, the drinks were not special at all. The Tokyo Reverie was somewhat drinkable, with Takumi being our least favorite. The server was somewhat friendly. Based on this experience, I have no desire to go back, nor would I recommend it to anyone.

My boyfriend and I have honestly turned this into one of our favorite date night spots, and I…read morerecently came here for my birthday. Every time we come, the experience is always really good. The staff was amazing, our server was super nice, and I genuinely enjoyed my whole night here. Everything we ordered was delicious. One of my favorite things here is the seafood fried rice, or whatever the exact name is lol, but it is SO good every single time. I also tried some steak this time and for somebody who really doesn't even eat steak like that, it was actually really good. And the crème brûlée? Top tier. Definitely one of my favorite desserts there. The atmosphere is always nice for a date night, birthday dinner, or just wanting to go somewhere that feels a little more upscale without being uncomfortable. I'll absolutely be back again. Also, if you've never been before, the restaurant is on the second floor and there is garage parking available, which is nice.

My son is very particular about what he eats, and the fact that a mini filet with French fries was an option made this an easy dinner outing with a 4 year old. He had a fruit plate starter then the fillet and finished with a vanilla ice cream! Top tier! Bravo and Thank you Eddie V's!

Modan: A Pleasant Modern Japanese Lunch…read more Tucked into a prime Tysons location, Modan makes a polished first impression with its sleek, modern décor and attentive service. Its $30 three-course prix fixe lunch is designed as an approachable introduction to the restaurant's modern Japanese cooking. Started with the Yellowtail Jalapeño and Salmon Carpaccio--both quite fine, with distinctly different textures and a clever Japanese sensibility. The Filet Mignon with truffle sauce was tender and nicely cooked, with a subtle ponzu-like Japanese accent. The truffle presence, however, was rather restrained--almost playing hide-and-seek on the plate. The added sashimi plate was above average: the fish was fresh and well handled, though not necessarily more distinctive than what one might find at other good Japanese restaurants. Dessert was equally pleasant: the mochi and gelato were both above average without being particularly revelatory. Overall, Modan delivers a polished, enjoyable lunch experience. I liked it--and would happily return to explore more of the menu.

Review is for father's day brunch buffet. Having to charge the entire amount $95+20% tip (minus…read moretax) to rsvp is ridiculous. There wasn't even enough information on what all was to be offered, nor what entree selection there would be. I reached out via social media to ask but never got a response. In a sense, you're going in blindly not knowing what to expect. I've never been here, so I figured, if it's good, I'll come back for dinner. The place is clean, modern, has clean bathroom which is always a plus. Negative is the parking situation, which is common in that area. The chair's were the most uncomfortable I've ever sat in. The back support is so low, when you lean back to feels like its going to snap your spine in half. I couldn't even lean back as a result. As for the food, it was mediocre at best. Definitely not worth anywhere near the $95 price tag. I don't eat fried foods, which made up most of the starters. The rolls were underwhelming, the nigiri was decent but there was only 4 options, shrimp, salmon, tuna, yellow tail. How many of those can you keep eating before it gets boring. The oyster's were very good. The wagyu dumpling I didn't eat due to being fried but they super gimmicky. One of those instagram foods that looks good on camera but doesn't deliver. Those who did eat them said they were not good. I couldn't wrap my head around how small the main entree portions were. It was like 1 big bite or 2 small bites. The positive was they kept refreshing all the food keeping it fresh. End of the day, I walked out unsatisfied, feeling like I got ripped off. It is what it is, not good enough that I would come back.
