Didn't realize Maryland had a style of square pizza and tried it for the first time. The sauce and provolone cheese were very mild and on the sweet side; the dominant tone of the crust was *soft.* Not a whole lotta character in terms of texture but I can see why people dig it. I think it's a style of pizza great for elders who can't do a whole lot of chew, or children (and the pizza is cut into small squares great for a child's birthday). We stopped in to get a bite to eat. We like this location as it is convenient for dinner or lunch. Service is always quick and efficient without too much hovering. Being that they don't have this pizza chain in the Hampton roads area which is where I am from, we decided to order take out here. I ordered online for pick up and it was ready once I got there. They have a table once you walk in for contactless pickup which makes it easy as you just walk in and look for your name on the pizza box or ask them if it's ready. I ordered 3 different pizzas - veggie, Hawaiian and hot honey pepperoni. All 3 were very good. I love the crust on these pizzas. It's so crunchy and flaky. It's a rectangular pizza and cut up into small squares so you can easily eat a lot especially since they seem so light. The hot honey pepperoni was different and pepperoni was thick rounds and it was kinda sweet cuz of the honey. Great balance and not too sweet tho. It was good! I like this spot and wish they had Ledo back home. For now I guess we will just get it whenever we are in town. read more

In general, I love Ledo's pizza. However, pizza at some locations are thebomb.com and other locations are average or below average. And by this I mean the quality of pizza. Some locations have the right ovens to make the perfect Ledo's pizza, and other locations don't have the right ovens. I'm not sure why this is, maybe because it's cheaper and some location owners went the cheap route. Unfortunately this location has tje lower quality ovens, which tends for Ledo's pizzas to come out dry, and sometimes overcooked as well. So if you're looking for a Ledo's in the area, I would recommend the West Springfield location over this one. read more

I've gotten ledo pizza from multiple locations and this is by far the most TRIFLING experience ever! I asked for half and half. Bacon and pepperoni on one side, and bacon and mushrooms on the other side. They threw unpieced bacon on one side very sloppily and nit even how I asked! I've been eating Ledo pizza for 30+ years and always enjoyed it, but I had a horrible experience today with the Kingstowne location. We ordered pizza, a sub, and fries online. There was an option for either carry out or curbside delivery. I chose curbside. They asked for color, make, and model of my car and then a button appeared to click when I arrived. Well I clicked, and nothing happened. My husband finally went in and there was our food , sitting there getting cold as ice. He asked a worker why it hadn't been brought out and he just shrugged. I called the manager and all he offered me was a free pizza for next time. There won't be a next time! And considering I had tipped 20% because I thought someone was going to have to bring it out, I felt I was at least entitled to a partial if not a full refund. The manager told me he didn't know how to process a refund in their computer system, so he couldn't offer anything. Then he said we could come back and get cash, which ok, but who wants to get in their car, come into the store, etc. when the whole point to begin with was curbside; stay in the car. I told him he should know how to process a refund. He told me I could call his boss next Monday (a week from now!) and maybe his boss would know how to do it. I told him the boss should be calling me, not the other way around! That's where we left it. I try to be super patient and understanding with restaurant and retail staff right now because I know they're in a tough spot being short staffed, etc. I tip generously. I selected curbside pick up and watched the (Indian) manager and the store employees stand there and wait around for ME to walk in to pick up my order. That's fine BUT DONT provide an option for curbside, ask for a tip, and then don't provide curbside. I ordered Ledo's yesterday evening. Ordering process-I have ordered from here several times and if you have too many edits to your order (yes, that's me) then they will not get it right. So, I kept it simple this time and only had to repeat my order two times in order for the girl placing my order to understand. Food-The pizza was hot and yummy. Sadly, when you order half and half, it is more like 60/40, if there are 5 columns, three will be pepperoni and two will be just cheese. I wish they would do a true half and half, two and half columns should be pepperoni and two and half should be cheese. I joked to my fiancee that his side salad looked like a salad from McDonalds, in addition, he had no croutons. Not cool. Otherwise, everything was really good. Pick-up- We were told on the phone that our food would be ready in 10 to 15 minutes. In actuality, it took 35 minutes. Will we come back? Yes. I wanted to get be this Ledo a four. The wings were delicious but the pizza was way to oily and they had a lot of garlic. Like I could probably kill a vampire after eating that pizza. I ordered the plain white pizza with aoli sauce and 12 buffalo wings. The buffalo wings were abnormally large which I actually like and flavorful. I wanted to love this location but when I went to pay the bill they charged me 56.99 instead of 32.65! When I went to sign the bill I realized they charged me for someone else's bill. The waitress Angela was very apologetic and accommodating but her manager wasn't there so I had to wait 30 Minutes until he showed up to void the transaction. I was told a manager would be coming out to speak with me. He never did. I finally got my food They have me the wrong pizza. There were 5 other people waiting in the lobby. Half had been helped. This is my family's go to pizza spot. We alternate between eating there and carrying out and have never had an issue. It's usually not too crowded (even on weekends) so we are seated immediately and the pizza comes out almost immediately. When we carry out, the pizza is usually always ready within 25-30 minutes. Veggie pizza FTW, but special S/O goes to the Jalapeño Pineapple pizza! Ledo definitely doesn't cut corners and will most definitely continue to grab our 'za from here! read more

I am so sad. We LOVE Ledo's and we were so happy when the one at Kingstowne opened! The food and service were fabulous! Unfortunatley Management has changed and with it, the food and service have disintegrated. We've had bd experiences the last few times in. But, we had just finished an appointment on Monday night, ,and we were expecting guests for dinner. Decided to give them another shot. I wasn't going to make it home to cook so we ordered a couple of pizzas . The manager took my order over the phone and quoted a 15 to 20 min wait. We sat and waited. And waited. Almost an hour later we still had no pizza! The staff seemed quite harried and discombobulated. Finally I asked for a refund, I was told that I could not have refund! My pizzas were ALMOST ready. The manager explained that they had taken an order for 7 pizzas before ours. I asked him why he told me 15 to 20 mins if he knew that. We just discovered this area of town and I'm always up for a new pizza experience. We walked in to a mostly empty restaurant. It took a minute for the person behind the counter to acknowledge us. As we'd never been there before, we didn't understand the ordering process. She told us to order with her. We asked if we could eat inside and was told yes. So, we ordered a pizza and two drinks. She told us we could sit anywhere and she'd bring us our drinks. We got our drinks within five minutes. Then after a very long wait, she came back to ask what we'd ordered. Then several minutes later she brought us our pizza in a box. We were very confused and asked for plates, napkins and utensils. She said she'd bring them. After several more minutes, I walked back to the front and asked if we could have napkins at a minimum. So she handed me a stack. When she came back by to ask if we'd already paid, we requested refills and she said she didn't know if she was allowed. During this time, we watched other people come into the restaurant, be given menus, plates and utensils and order from their table. The pizza was very greasy and upset my stomach. The restaurant itself was cute and there are several other items on the menu I would not be opposed to trying. However, given the service, I don't know how soon we'll plan on coming back. read more

That's right, Pizza Fans, the Ledo's pie comes out in a squarish block don;t be frightened, for in its four corners lies pizza nirvana. Now, this pizza bliss is hard to describe, but I will give it a try. First the sauce is tangy, but also slightly sweet, so much so that you feel like you've been let in on some family secret recipe. I just hope Ledo's didn't steal its recipe from some Italian grandmother with connections; I'd hate to think of the interruption of yummy pizza that would ensue if these guys were forced to go to the mattresses while a pizza war waged on, So while there is still peace between the five pizza families, I'll make you an offer you can't refuse .and that is Ledo Pizza's creamy cheese topping and crust...That's right, Pizza Fans, I said creamy, a word that one usually doesn't associate with pizza, but like fine chocolate this pizza virtually melts in your mouth. Although I only had takeout, their restaurant seems quite charming, boasting an inviting bar and quaint seating on either side of kitchen. Since they closed the Lorton location, I had been anxious for this location to open. They really did a nice job on this place. I ordered a white pizza for carry-out but took a walk around to see the large screen TVs at the bar. What a great place to watch the game! There are even nice iron tables outside to enjoy a meal in the nicer weather. The restaurant was extremely clean and my cashier had me in and out in no time. I ordered the basil, olive, tomato, and goat cheese pizza. I wish I had not. How this place received its acclaim baffles me. The dough was not cooked thoroughly and summoned the question as to what caused the cooking staff's inebriated state. It would be better had they burned the pizza or simply sloshed tomato sauce on a cardboard box. The aluminum taste lingered in the tomato sauce from which it most definitely came and overpowered the other ingredients. Its tragic companions, the basil, olives, and cherry tomatoes, were wasted on this pizza and would taste better on an english muffin. I've never had pizza this bad, and wish I ordered Papa John's instead. Even with the self-hatred and diarrhea that results from ordering Papa John's, at least I wouldn't have to throw away half a pizza. Not even beer helped wash this down, and I wouldn't even eat this pizza if I was drunk. More still, it would probably taste better coming up than it did going down. Just don't. 2nd visit- Flavor still good but my husband had to pour the grease off of his meat lovers pizza. In Fact one of the servers (not ours) helped us hold the pizza to drain the grease. We didn't complain.....to our server. My Hotlanta needed about two more minutes in the oven had to eat it with a fork. If a manager would have stopped by the table we would have said something..... Haven't tried other pizza places but this was alright for late night snacks. We ordered their special pizza with meatballs. They had 3 different sizes. There was 3 of us in this party and we opted for a spinach salad w/ their house dressing, which I have to say was Deeeeelish! It was great to share. We thought the medium sized pizza for 2 was a perfect size but it was actually too much! We only finished half. I guess the half meat ball that was cut into half and the pie (rectangular sized) was cut into small squared pieces. The dough wasn't as well as I thought it'd be cooked but I love my crust baked well. Other than that, try it! The pizza could be better. So my son and myself where going to have lunch here today, we sat down and no one came to our table for like ten minutes I was getting a bit irritated and noticed a employee playing with the cups, he'd toss one in the air trying to get it to land back onto the stack of cups and it kept falling onto the floor finally he placed the cup back onto the stack, i hollered at him about it and he said it never hit the ground ( I watched him picking up the cup ) I insisted on speaking to the manager, told him exactly what I had seen he of course apologized and said he'd remove the cup and when I said the employee should be removed he laughed, if I hadn't said something and we had ordered our food one of us would have ended up with that cup. Every employee walks through the small space that this clown was playing in, this is very Unsanitary and unacceptable. This ended up being a loss of revenue for the business and a loss of the tip for the waitress and hopefully a eye opener for future patrons. read more
