I don't have the highest expectations for airport food, but when looking for a place to eat lunch with my fiancé and very picky dad, I thought a restaurant that calls themselves a "café" would be a safe bet. I'm not used to eating at Seatac restaurants after finding the land of pretentious traveling known as the Centurion Lounge; however, due to closing from the pandemic I found myself uncertain on where I could find something gluten free at my own home airport. The tacos themselves were good. The chicken was the best part. The chips were regular run of the mill chips and were used as filler to make the plate look full when really it is just too small tacos. With a tip, it was $35 and there wasn't enough food or drink to be full, even if it was just one person eating it. The place is large. Lots of seating. Sathra was our waitress and she was friendly and attentive and even took the awful tacos I ordered off the bill when she saw I could not eat them. I could not eat them because they were the worst chicken tacos I have ever had. Ok so, my wife ordered the clam chowder and it was passable. Thankfully she shared it with me so I would not starve. The restaurant is behind security and they seem to do a brisk business, so this is not a local establishment that deserves any mercy. If you just want a drink, they have a full bar and a variety of craft beers on tap. If you want something to eat you will be better off at McDonalds or another airport restaurant. From the looks of this place, you would think it had the best menu of in the SEA-TAC airport......but looks are deceiving. The restaurant was pretty full and crowded when I arrived, but to be fair - it didn't;t seem like there were a ton of options at the time I was there. I was seated in on a table against the wall and it took some time for the server to come over. When she did I ordered a "Beef Dip" sandwich (.....this was a French Dip style sandwich) and a beverage. The pricing was relatively expensive to be honest 0 which would have been OK if the food was great.....it was not. This was a mistake. Not even the COVID excuse can salvage the reasoning behind why this is probably the last place you want to opt to be overcharged in an airport. But there were plenty of patrons & a bit of a line waiting to be seated, so I figured it was probably a decent option. Well, the menu is REALLY cut. There were only a handful of options to select. All pretty costly for what was offered. I went w/ the biscuits & gravy that came w/ a side of fresh fruit. The fruit was probably the best part, but also lacking. What came out was ONE biscuit. Decently covered in gravy, topped w/ French fried onion. But, served on paper in a basket?! It's pretty easy to say- I ended up tossing half of it because I was eating soggy paper it had entirely saturated. The cup of "fresh" fruit clearly came from an industrial container & had slime on it- obvious it has sat for several days. There were probably 5 chunks of cantaloupe & honeydew & 3 grapes. All of this cost over $10!!! It was old, lacking & a very expensive portion that wouldn't even suit a toddler. To make matters worse- that VERY lacking "meal" took over 30 minutes to "prepare". And, it was more frustrating that after being seated, I was not offered water or even a napkin. I ordered a mixed drink that came promptly- but had 0 alcohol in it. And was consequently charged for a double when I didn't order a double, nor was there even enough alcohol to justify a single! I was basically given straight soda water. And had to finally walk up to the bar and ask for a glass of water after 45 minutes passed by & it wasn't brought out with my food after requesting it as I was seated. I understand changing some things up due to COVID, but I also shouldn't have to request utensils to eat a meal that wasn't finger food. I was handed plastic cutlery. No napkin. The server didn't check on me at all. Not once. No water refill. No "how is everything?" I've finished my lacking meal & continue to sit there for another 30+ minutes (as there are others in line outside waiting to be seated) and the check hasn't come, nor has anyone checked on me. So FINALLY, a lady I'd never seen pops up and asks if she can remove my discarded basket scraps & empty glasses- I had to ask her for my check. ...and the server who clearly forgot I existed finally comes around and asks if I need anything else? Uhm... I did for the past 45+ minutes! And it wasn't busy enough w/ the lesser occupants to justify being too busy with other tables. The bill for 1 biscuit w/ gravy, 1 small cup of fruit & 1 mixed drink came out to $45!!! Ridiculous! Not to mention terrible service. So I don't recommend. It wasn't a clean or comfortable place to sit & relax between flights. The food isn't good & portions are not even fit for a child, the prices are insane, drinks are inflated but lacking, service is poor, quality is trash & there are 0 electrical outlets to utilize while you wait for the bad service. I have no idea how this place stays in service. It is one of the few sit-down accommodations. And letting one of the other patrons sit there having a conversation on speaker phone in the middle of the room, full volume was just flat out rude & annoying. A bit on the pricey side for sandwiches ($18 & up), yet this is an airport location. Except a 20% markup to cover for airport access fees & taxes. King County will always get their cut here. I purchased the beef tip sandwich, of which I thought it was so-so. I'm not a huge beef fan, yet this was recommended by my server. Wash that down with a strong local IPA 20-ounce draft brew, and you are at $31 before the tip. The ambiance is like any other sports bar that you would find in the US, so its not that big of a deal. I appreciated the candidness from my server while watching an NBA playoff game before my redeye American Airlines flight back to DFW airport. Okay, so prices are a little high, in my opinion, even for an airport restaurant but maybe it's b/c it's Seattle? That's really why they get 3 stars from me. I wanted a porter or stout and fortunately for me, they had the Mac-n-Jack porter as an option from their rotating tap. I do love their amber so figured I'd give their porter a try. I just wanted a little snack to go with my beer and I found the New England clam chowder, coming in at $9.85 for a cup. It turned out to be a decent size and was really tasty. It was nice and thick and had really good flavor to it and wasn't too salty. Came with oyster crackers too! Service was definitely friendly and timely; no complaints. They have a reduced max capacity but fortunately the wait wasn't more than 5-7 minutes. This restaurant is located right after you pass security in terminal D. The place has a very good layout with lots of tables for parties of 2 and 4, but can also move tables around for larger groups. Service is very prompt and I found the quality of the food to be pretty good, fresh and tasty. And as far as drinks, great selection of local beers, and the Whiskey Sour I ordered was prepared just right. Food wise , I had the hummus appetizer and the turkey sandwich, and they were both good. The hummus was particularly good. I also liked the fact they have a large section with tables that look out to the main hallway at this terminal, so if you are by yourself, this place is lively and you can just entertain yourself by people watching. It was full of travelers but the seating was not well organized and so it made it very sparse and hard to find a table. The sign at the door...."seat yourself" starts you off on waiting to find a spot then when you get one it is likely not cleaned. The servers were friendly enough but that doesn't make up for an expensive sandwich that is not any better than you could get from a vending machine or a 7-11 (the latter might be better). It takes special skill to fail at airport food. Mission accomplished. Their primary breakfast offer is egg, bacon and cheese on a roll. Pretty basic. McDonalds makes it on a muffin. Been around for decades. And so was the roll at this establishment. Flavorless, hard and roughly 90% of the meal. Bacon? Sure. It was the kind soup kitchens likely reject. Cheese? Legally I suppose flavorless and seemingly thinner than spread butter is 'cheese', but... no. The egg wasn't worth mentioning. I can't vouch for the food, but there's a French place towards the end of C. Five minute walk. And they spell and serve Gruyère. There are a few great airport restaurants. It can be done. And there are many adequate airport restaurants. So why literally strive to be bad? Lest someone think I'm being unfair focusing only on the 'food' - please don't bother with the tabletop QR code ordering system. After taking a few minutes to fill it out it will error and reject. They don't serve hot tea (and you don't want the iced version) either. Our server, once she came to the table, was efficient and really trying. We laughed when she plated the wrong food. So a $15 'breakfast sandwich' - I'd pay twice that for food. But alas, all I got was a tummy ache and snookered. Ambiance? If you want a pint - maybe. But the airport has musician stations (at least one) in the terminal and they play just across the aisle. The roast beef sandwich was totally ordinary and the au jus was like a couple of beef bullion cubes in hot water. The pickle and the chips were fine. My wife's chicken tortillas were average. We also got cups of clam chowder for $9.98 each. This is actually less than you would pay at many restaurants in Seattle and you got about twice as much. Unfortunately, the chowder was forgettable. With tax and just water to drink the total before tip was $62. the only think worth the money was the chowder. The other two items would have been okay at $10 each. There are a lot better places to eat in the airport. Seervers did a good job but they were obviously short staffed and it took a long time to get our check. I guess in the end, it was a bargain for the $10 I paid to cover the tip in addition to the $60. Delta got screwed. read more

Don't do this to yourself. Server was great but she needs to find a new restaurant and give up on this sad place. The breakfast sandwich ($15) is one of the worst things I've eaten (or tried to eat) in years. It's been three days and I'm still thinking about it. Pre-made and probably frozen, two eggs that were fried at some point in their lifetime until the middles were all the way done hard, limp and fatty bacon, and a single sweaty American cheese slice torn in half (one half per side) with no flavor at all. The baguette was inedible, like it was microwaved from frozen and went cold again. No sauce at all. Some chunks of melon and a few grapes on the side. I get it. It's the airport. It's supposed to be overpriced and low quality, but this place has gone too far. The $15 "flat bread pizza" is a factory-made pita with ketchupy tomato sauce and shredded "Mexican blend" cheese. This would be sad if made in a dorm room, it's inexcusable in a restaurant. Service was good, but cannot compensate for this abomination. There are many great dining options at SeaTac. This is not one of them. read more

Well, not great. I mean actually pretty bad. First I ordered a 20oz Alaskan amber. Server came back to say they were out of the Amber. So I said the Blond would suffice. Well, he brought a 14 Oz instead. I returned that for the 20oz as I first requested. Next, food orders. Well, they were out of pizza. The main reason we picked this restaurant. Well we had a group of kids. Two just opted not to eat. One had the granola yogurt that was too sugary. Another ordered a sandwich with no tomato but got chicken tacos. The nachos had cold velvitaish they cheese slathered on it. The guacamole was super runny and splitting. Overall, I do not recommend this place. I was shocked when I was served... I wasn't sure if it was frozen or genuinely if they thought that was good. 20$ for the smallest, cardboard texture, rough cheese, stingy on sauce. I genuinely asked if I ordered from a kids menu since I was confused. I tried to eat some of it since it was 20 dollars. Food was bad. Tried ordering a soda and they informed me they had none of any type. Food was served on paper plates. Ordered chicken tacos that looked like it was made by beginning high school cooking class. The nachos are something that you and buy from a peewee football game vendor run by kids. And the food tasted bad and the chicken that came on the tacos and nachos were from the fridge to the plate ice cold. read more
