This is a really good Thai place. I was staying at the Doubletree across the street. When we sat down, the waitress told us the fresh rolls were not available, but then she said they did make some. We ordered the appetizer sampler which had fresh rolls, crab wontons, and some fried chicken. We also got the green papaya salad which was good and fairly spicy, and the pad thai which was tasty. Eve was our server and she is excellent, but the kitchen (expediter?) failed her. We ordered drinks, chicken wings appetizer and our entrees. Eve cautioned that the duck would take 20 minutes. Understood and acceptable. The wings were first to arrive. Eleven very scrawny wings. Properly crispy and seasoned. Would not order again, because scrawny. The entrees arrived a few minutes later - poor pacing. The duck was excellent. My wife loved the green curry and sticky rice. Then the mango martini arrived, late in the meal. I do not grasp the pacing failures. They were not busy. Plenty of empty tables. But the scrawny wings and inept pacing ... minus two stars. The venue is very nicely decorated and kept clean. What an excellent place! I come to Seattle a lot for work and this Thai place delivers to my hotel (Hilton Garden Inn) I was CRAVING Thai food so I was HAPPY they were close by! I ordered: Kee Mao Chicken and added Shrimp Yellow Chicken Curry (comes with rice) Thai Tea Total: $73 I asked for extra Sriracha and Limes on the side as well and let me tell you the flavor was AMAZING! It was actually the 2nd time I've been to Mango Thai but the first time eating. Last time I had the Jameson Salad. But the food is definitely solid, not earth-shattering. I had the Chicken Phad Thai, as one does to gauge a Thai place the first time in. They are a little kisser on the spice threshold than others, perhaps because they're so close to the airport and must cater to the faint of spice tolerance. I'd say give them a shot if you're in SeaTac & craving some Asian delights! read more

I was seriously craving Thai food since I hadn't had it in a while, so literally right after getting off my flight, I checked to see what was nearby and stumbled upon Mango Thai Cuisine and Bar. It's really close to the airport, so I went ahead with it. I started with the Gai Sate, which were marinated chicken skewers grilled and served with a flavorful peanut sauce and cucumber salad. For my main, I got the Panang Curry with Chicken, and it was amazing--creamy, perfectly spiced, and packed with flavor. To drink, I had a Thai Iced Tea, which was just the right amount of sweet and refreshing. I didn't get dessert because I was already too full, but honestly, I was more than satisfied with what I had. The service was fast and efficient, and the staff was super friendly. Even though the prices were on the higher side, I felt like it was absolutely worth it because the food was well-prepared and high quality. The atmosphere was also really nice. It was modern, classy, and intimate, making it a great spot whether you're dining solo or with company. Stayed at the Coast Gateway Hotel for one night. Needed a place to eat, in the area. I did a short walk from the hotel and found this place. The outside was clean and had a nice look to it. As i walked in, I noticed the place was packed. I was helped within a minute, and sat at a small two person table. I ordered the Kee Mao noodles and spring rolls. The server recommended I have a half order of the spring rolls. I agreed. The spring rolls came out first...3 instead of 6. They were piping hot and crispy. The dipping sauce had just the right amount of heat and sweetness. It's the first time I've had Kee Mao. The wife rice noodles were nice and chewy. The veggies were still nice and firm. The sauce was perfect. I'd definitely have it again. I was actually surprised that a restaurant located near the airport was so busy. There was a wait list and people waiting outside. read more

My husband and I went here as a last minute decision and we were pretty disappointed. The food and drinks are very pricey, but nothing special. We got 2 drinks (the Thai tea one and the lemongrass ginger drink) and the combo app platter, and everything was just very average tasting. The drinks sounded great, but I don't think they were executed well. For example, I had the lemongrass ginger drink, but it just tasted like a gin and tonic with slices of lemongrass and ginger. I don't think it was muddled, so the flavor of the ginger and lemongrass was really weak. Overall, it was pretty disappointing as an experience. Service was just fine, and food is just fine. Nothing really stood out. The fact that I didn't even take a picture of what we had speaks a lot for this experience for me. I enjoyed the ambiance of Mango. I haven't been here since I moved out of the area. My son is a safety manager at SeaTac Airport and this is a convienant place for lunch. I enjoyed the pinapple and prawn curry lunch special and my son had fried rice. The lunch specials have changed though since the first time I visited. I've eaten here many times over the years but it's still good and has free covered parking in a little area behing dirctly behind the restaurant in the parking garage. I am taking my 2nd annual trip to Sitka to fish, and reserved a room at the Hilton Garden again so that I could eat here. I ate the same food as last time, with exactly the same results. The crispy prawns were as advertised, very crunchy but also moist and flavorful. The shrimp pad Thai, oh my! 6 huge shrimp, succulent tamarind-flavored noodles, fresh crispy veggies, all in a beautiful presentation. And the 60's and 70's music was perfect for this old hippie. All of the waitstaff were very friendly, prompt and pleasant, like seeing old friends. As you can see from the pics, they are also consistent! The food looks exactly like last year. I was in the Seattle area and was craving some Thai food. This place was near the Sea Tac Airport, so I thought I'd stop by. I was amazed as soon as I walked in. The decor and floral paper decorations made the place feel cozy and welcoming. I love the portrait of the floating market. Reminds of when I visited Thailand. The food was delicious and full of flavor. The Pad See Ew was full of spice and aroma was amazing. The food was still hot off the wok, and the fried rice was surprisingly flavorful all by itself. I didn't have to add any seasoning to it. The workers were friendly and hospitable. Our food came relatively quick, which is a sign of good service. My husband and I came in on our last night in Seattle before flying back to Florida. Boy, am I glad we did. This was absolutely, without doubt, my favorite meal/dining experience from the entire two week trip thru Seattle, San Juan Islands and Olympic Natl Park. It was a slow start, as there were only 2 servers on. But Amy stepped in and really made our experience wonderful. Upon entry, the restaurant is so welcoming. Think high ceilings meet huge floating floral arrangements meet minimal/clean lined aesthetics/furniture - and the smell is heavenly! We were sat in very comfortable booth. One of perhaps 30 ish tables. We ordered the Gai Samun Pai (fried wings) for our appetizer. They are possibly the most unique wings I've ever had. They were lightly battered and hard fried until a wonderful crunch was achieved. Garnished with cashews and fried thai basil leaves. The dipping sauce is the intersection of salty, savory, citrus, and sweet meets herbal. There was (I think) a Parmesan crumble garnished on top of the sauce that I would leave off. The main entrees were the Pork Belly Gra Pao with tofu added (stir fried crispy pork belly) & the Gang Ped with tofu added (duck red curry). The pork belly had the most delicious umami, garlic and basil flavors. The red curry was perfect balance of spicy and sweet. The meat in both dishes was beyond tender. The owner even came out to check on us right before we paid and left. I will be back here any time I am back in Seattle. I can't recommend this place enough!! read more

I wanted something light as I had a big dinner planned so I ordered the Tom Yum soup. I found it a bit pricey at $23, but it was only offered in a large 1 quart size. It came well packaged in a quality restaurant soup container, filled to the absolute brim. So full that I had to be very careful not to spill taking the lid off. Broth was delicious and it was packed with the traditional ingredients; mushrooms, tomatoes, green onion, lemongrass, and most importantly, prawns. One of the best Tom Yum's I've ever had. read more
