It's hard to articulate the level of disrespect. I felt when I was served by Chad. It was the first time that I felt like a bartender/server was not personable, respectful or courteous to a customer. It is literally the worst experience I've had at this place and as good as the food is and the other servers are, it is over shadowed by someone who is clearly has something within themselves to where they do not feel like they need to be a good customer service representative. Chad 0 everything else 9 out a 10.

The one other time the food was very good but tonight I ordered their chicken wings (to-go order) and I've never seen this much pink before in a wing. I understand some pink is to be expected from the thawing process but this is unacceptable and made me nauseous to see. I also ordered the salmon and it couldn't have been more dry and tough. I thought this was a good place nearby but I don't think I can recommend it to anyone

    Peanut Butter Stout....delicious

Some really great flavors for their brews. I liked the peanut butter stout. Charlie got the cherry cider, quite tasty. We just happened upon this place, even drove back for it. The beers was excellent, the service was good, the nachos were bland, regular pub fare nothing spectacular about them. Outside seating is available.

Wing Wednesdays, here we go! Yes, I've said it. You see, there's another bar in Renton that serves (from my honest upmost opinion) the best chicken wings, but I often don't feel like fighting against traffic for chicken wings on a weekday. Plus, I want quick service. This bar actually serves pretty good Thai Sweet Chili Sauce Chicken Wings (from the appetizer menu). You can either do 1 lb or 1/2 lb order, and we always do 1 lb order for 2 people. The wings are crispy, and the sauce is embedded into the chicken wings. Give it a try sometimes! You can call in to place a to-go order, and they'll have it out for you in 10-15 minutes!

Blue razz lemon drop. Super sweet.

After seating ourselves and being greeted by a server (unfortunately I did not capture her name), we both opted for the fish and chips. I can't recollect a time when I had a bad experience with a fish and chips order, so I was optimistic that we were in for a treat. Less than 15 minutes later, two large plates consisting of four fish planks and a healthy serving of fries were being delivered to our table. Biting into the fries I thought, "these are hot, but taste like nothing." To obtain some form of flavor, I had to douse them in ketchup. Hoping that the same did not apply to the fish, I took a bite of one of the planks...no flavor as well. To give it some form of flavor, I had to saturate it in vinegar and use a healthy serving of tarter sauce. I understand that some restaurants are hesitant to pre-season food due to various preferences and allergies. However, I have never consumed food that tasted like what I would imagine the flavor of paper would be. The customer service was good...but if this was an indication of how their other meals taste, I can't honestly say that I could make a return visit.

My husband and I were visiting the Burien Farmer's Market and decided to stop in for lunch here. The day before our area experienced a heat wave. Apparently this effected this place of business. There were fans going everywhere, no a/c in place; I was hesitant to enter and I should have gone with my instincts. It wasn't awful so that we couldn't stand it, so we stayed. We had a very friendly waitress, wish I could remember her name but she was very good. I ordered a peach tea and my husband ordered a cider, I believe it was pineapple and another fruit based. I ordered the Ahi Taco Wrap and my husband ordered the Luna Fish and Chips. My husband's drink arrived with an apology from another server as she poured the wrong drink for him. He was gracious and took it anyway. Out come our plates. I tasted my husbands fish and found it seriously lacking in flavor; nothing great here. Now let's get to my Ahi wrap; I had serious issues with this. This includes tuna, avocado, cilantro lime coleslaw with chipotle aioli and lime on the side. House made chips and salsa were included. The wrap was hugely disappointing. The ratio of tuna to coleslaw was seriously off. 90 percent of this wrap was coleslaw. The chips weren't fresh and the salsa was just ok, had a sweet type of base, which I don't like in my salsa. The lime included was stale and I couldn't get a drop out of this. The chipotle was so so. The coleslaw had no distinctive cilantro lime flavor. This dish was entirely disappointing and priced at 19.95. Never again. My husband's dish had two pieces of fish and was priced at 18.50. So after the cost of the drinks, the meal was over 60. Shame on us for a few things: 1. For not looking closely at the prices 2. And for most importantly, for simply not grabbing a decently priced hot dog at the farmers market. I'm positive this would have been better and a better deal. We will not be back to this place. The only reason I gave this a one star was for the waitress and the peach tea. Seriously.

We shared a couple of starters--deep-fried pickles and the Brätzel. Both were great. For my entrée, I chose one of the Berliner Favorites, a Schnitzel Sandwich with a side of skinny fries. It was also delicious and filling. If you can't decide on what beer to try, they offer a few flight options. We also had to get the German Chocolate Cake shot! It's dangerously good! The burger is thick and really juicy, great bun and aioli. The fries are perfectly crispy. The pizza had a really great, I'm assuming wood-fired, crust. The duck was tender and sweet and there was a lot of arugula. It's a sparser craft pizza, which is just so delicious when you are looking for something a little heavy but not over the top. While they boast about their craft beer offerings, they have a great cocktail list as well, and I love that they have a specific whiskey cocktail section as well, with a few that are less common at some bars. The Brooklyn is probably my favorite, but you can't really go wrong. Also, a fellow patron asked for a Toronto and the bartender was happy to look it up and make it for him. And what about the atmosphere here?! It's so wonderful in summer! With its narrow design giving a sense that an entire wall opens to the outside and the patio that extends beyond, it feels Ike you are vacationing somewhere tropical and beachy. This somehow combines really well with the industrial vibe of the interior. They also have some TV's for sports. The service is very friendly, attentive, interactive, and helpful. One thing that was consistent across my three visits, however, was the feeling that the place is always understaffed, so things tend to move slowly. I'm not sure this is the case, it's just the feel you get when it happens the times you visit. This is a bit of a double-edged sword though, since it's such an easy place to just want to sip and nibble slowly while delving into conversation. So, that's not enough to detract a star for now, and honestly I'm already thinking about when I get to eat here again!
