Of course they recommended several unrelated (and unneeded) services which were thousands of dollars. At this point I was informed they would charge me $358 for the diagnosis unless I engaged them to do the repair. After another 6 hours (the next day) trying to figure out when they could start and if they could get the parts, with no assurance of when it would be ready, I withdrew authorization and paid them their diagnostic charge to get my car back. Walker knows me by name and has a great memory of my car and its work history. He treats it like his own. Recently had some work done on the front control arms, CV joints, and axles. The work was installed and everything was fine. A week later I noticed some additional noise in the steering. Called Walker back and let him know. He worked me right in and replaced all the parts again under warranty, and did some further investigation. We found an issue with another bushing that needed to be addressed. I called right when they opened and they were able to take me in right away! I received a phone call a little over and hour later from the mechanic informing me that I had an issue with my belt. The mechanic said the belt was structurally intact and looked new but was responsible for the sound. He said he sprayed it with WD 40 which eliminated the sound but informed me it would come back eventually. He told me I could replace the belt to eliminate the sound permanently or I could pass on replacing the belt as it was still functioning properly and brand new. Definitely a mechanic I will be back to visit as I know they are not trying to stick me with random charges for parts I don't need.
