We were walking through the Old Town looking for a place to grab lunch and happened upon Stone Tower Brews. I walked inside grab dinner menu and it look good so my party of five went inside. Things start off great with the friendly young lady at the front counter who School Tucson how the place work. You grab a menu at the beginning of the bar and then order at the register. My wife ordered a latte which came out in a cute handmade local porcelain cup. I ordered the pork street tacos and was pleasantly surprised with the flavor profiles in quantity of food. I highly recommend this place with a great atmosphere, good music, and a nice selection of tasty food and drinks. You won't be disappointed! read more

We ran in here before a soccer game at the high school. Coffee looked great and my husband enjoyed it. I opted for a toasted bagel with cream cheese. Bagel was good. Cream cheese was plentiful. Nice place to duck into on a rainy morning. And, I bet the beer options are pretty good too. It will definitely be a stop when heading back to the area. read more

Excellent Food! Been here a few times now and the food is always better than the last time. I had the pleasure of speaking with the manager yesterday on a few things I thought could improve for families with children. Her positive attitude and reassurance of steps they're taking to accommodate us moms ie a changing table and family friendly bathroom made me give this a full 5 star rating! Waited over 30 minutes for our meals. We ordered two egg scramblers. Mine was good and correct, his came out cold and wrong. We sent his back to be corrected . He got his back within 5 minutes but still wrong and not the way we ordered it. It was hard to get anyones attention to send it back again. The place was semi busy but no line and only four tables seated . There was two cooks in the back at the time, so idk what happened to why his food had to be sent back and was still wrong the second time. Spent over $30 for that and coffee drinks for us. read more

This is a great little place. I go a few times each time I'm in town. The food and coffee is really good and the variety of beer on tap is always good. The staff is friendly and welcoming. They sell high quality coffee cups, Hydro Flask, coffee and accessories and t-shirts. They don't sell hats though. What's up with that. Check this place out, you won't regret it. read more

The coffee was and I don't say this lightly very good. Even better than Starbucks in my opinion the building has a nice cool hip look to it and is great for when I'm working on college work or meeting some friends for a coffee. All in all would re-visit and recommend. read more

My first review was listened to! There is a sign with menus and the staff has been great every time I've been! The food is delicious and light- it doesn't make you feel heavy and gross so it's perfect for lunch! I haven't had every type of coffee or food but what I have tried has been consistently good. I am so happy to see something like this open in Buckhannon. I stopped in several times over the past weekend and have tried both the food and some of the beverage options. First off the pork tacos were amazing! The queso confused me at first since it is a bit thinner than what you would usually see, but the flavor was delicious. I have also tried the breakfast sandwich (I chose bacon, egg, and cheese on an English muffin), which was huge and very scrumptious. I love that they have 12 taps, at least half of which are stocked with local beer options and you can get a flight with four beers of your choice for $8 which seems pretty reasonable to me. The coffee is equally as good. I ordered the vanilla lavender flavor which I had planned to get hot, but an employee suggested I get it iced instead as it works better with those particular flavors and i'm glad I took her advice because it was lovely. Update: I actually also tried a hot caramel latte on my way out of town and it was also quite yummy. The milk was steamed properly and had a nice foam without any of the overly large bubbles you get at some places. read more

At first I was a little apprehensive, not getting my hopes up- honestly I was not going to be surprised if the coffee wasn't that great BUT it surprised me! Pulling a good shot of espresso is everything so I requested one to taste the notes and the balance of the shot. I was quite pleased with the balance and commend them for that! Now, the notes of the espresso weren't my favorite but the shots they pull have a great balance which is so so important!! It's not a bad shot, it's just not my number one pick! Does this keep me from going there or lowering my 5 star review? Absolutely not! I will continue to support them and hope they stay around for many many years because the quality it there! If coffee is not your passion or thing they have plenty of other options! Plenty of beer options with quite a few being local brews. If you're hungry their menu will not disappoint. First, the shop is very easy to find! It has some cute seating outside, although I wasn't able to stay long enough to enjoy it. Going in the shop is very nicely arranged, and the menu is easy to read. The barista greeted me with a big smile and was very helpful with showing me the flavored lattes they have. I chose the Iced Butterbeer Latte and it was so good!! Definitely recommend going to this one of any of them if they're a chain and in other places in WV. read more

We've visited here several times now and every time the food has been delicious! The salads are generous portions, and the use of quality ingredients makes everything enjoyable. This place, it's staff, food, and beverages have me ADDICTED! They have the best lattes I've tasted and the beer is perfect. I look forward each day to seeing what creative specials they have on the menu and drool on "Taco Tuesday's" The staff is super kind, helpful and they stay busy without it affecting their customer service. This is a catchy concept to have both coffee and craft beer highlighted at this restaurant. My husband, daughter and I all ordered coffee and baked goods. My husband and daughter had cold brews and I had a Lavender Vanilla Iced Latte. We also ordered a chocolate chip pretzel cookie and a double chocolate muffin. After receiving the cold brews my husband and daughter added cream to their drinks. Once we left both said they felt very judged by the unfriendly barista for adding cream in the coffee. We walked about half a block down main st and tossed our drinks in the trash. Coffee was awful. The cookie was good but the chocolate muffin lacked chocolate flavor. I gave this two stars, one for the atmosphere and another for the idea. The other three got lost between unfriendly baristas, unflavorful Muffins and absolutely awful coffee. read more

I finally got the urge to try something new so i decided to go to the new coffee shop in town this week. The service was tremendous and the chicken tacos were to die for. I definitely plan to make this a regular stop whenever I'm downtown. The baristas were constantly in a good mood and happy to serve the customers, though i came at a busy point in the day and was sure they were overwhelmed beneath it all. And despite the long line of customers i received my tacos in a very timely manner and could not say one bad thing about them. Keep up the good work you all are running a great business. read more

I love Stone Tower! It's been a great addition to Buckhannon! For the sake of honestly, I debated between a 4&5 star review so let me explain... The have a small/medium menu with things like avocado toast (gluten free bread option!) and tacos (& yes corns shells) which are all really good! They have some unique coffee based drinks like my favorite, the Fair Mounds Latte, and macadamia nut milk alternative. Now for the cons... it can get really crowded and the line gets long. There is not table service. The gluten free beer option is limited to mostly ciders and on one visit they didn't even have a cider. I love black and nitro brew coffee but I am not a big fan of the brews I've had there. Since they've become more established I have noticed more consistency with menu items.
