We had a terrible accident on our Nissan Pathfinder SUV because the technician who replaced my tires didn't screw the bolts properly and the tire fell out. It was hard to make the owner responsible until he accepted to let his insurance company, Nationwide, to pay for damages and medical costs! I would give this place a -0- rating if possible!!! My car battery was dead last Mar 2023 - and it needed inspection too - got it jumped then took it to this place - he should have inspected it FIRST - then replaced the battery!!! But he did not - it took weeks to put enough miles on the battery to pass inspection... All because he - the head honcho - wasn't doing his job... On 04-22-2024 - battery was dead - called them for a jump - at around 9 AM - he PROMISED to have someone out - never happened - has to call a tow truck!!! Now the battery was under warranty - need for it to be checked out - is GOODYEAR going to stand behind it??? I would give this a 4.9/5 stars and here is why. I also apologize for not taking interior photos or of the prices, I forgot. I was looking for a business that would be at an unbeatable price that matches walmart (because their service department is temp closed). With all the help, I did a work days amount of searching and found about half a dozen businesses. Unfortunately, they were out of my budget. But I found and chose goodyear with stoneridge crossing tire because they started out at the second low price but the best coupon at the lowest price. So going forward, I went there and they gave me an extra discount because they was the happy accident, they thought my coupon wasn't a $5 off but $10. So they honored it! I also was so pleased with the front attendant (Brian, maybe) that his character was so open and he cracked jokes and kept up his charisma. It was a short ball with him! This visit overall, matched my wallet to my liking, the hosting was bliss, and they kept telling me again and again and again they do everything for a car. "Think of us as a mall"! My one opposition: there was no posting of wearing a mask. Not we're any employees wearing a mask or gloves. I do hope I do not bring it home because of this. I thought it was a strict guideline to follow with no exceptions. So be aware of this folks. read more

Had a leak on one of my tires. Called and asked how long to check and repair a tire. They said an hour. I dropped my car and walked down to Tom Thumbs, and McDonald's. Took up that hour quickly. Had a nail in the tire. Asked if they could get it done, left the car with them. Three hours later no response. I called they said they had put the car up so it was being worked on. I headed down there, the car was never touched. They completely lied to me and only started working on the car when I had got there. It was not busy at all. read more

I had them check my car so I could take a 2 day trip to MD they gave me a clean bill of health and my trip was great. They easily could of found something but nope! Wife took my company owned car into this store to have it looked at, to determine why the tire looked low on air. She explained that it was a company car (Toyota) and they provide all service on these cars at no cost to the employee and she Just wanted to know if it was safe to drive. Front attendant told her they were jammed, if she could leave it they'd let her know asap. Only live half a mile away so she left it. Called her a few hours later to come back, told her they'd repaired the tire for $25. Wife explained that wasn't what she'd asked to have done and that she had carefully explained all repairs are done by the company garage 17 miles away at no cost. Response was "sorry, the guy taking the report hadn't noted that so pay $25 to get the car". No apology or concession. Will avoid this kind of customer service at all cost, extremely poor handling. read more

Flat tire. $250 to replace (jeez. But ok.). Called 20 minutes later to tell me they can't get the lug it off. Ok, leave the spare on and I'll save $250 for the time being and shop around for a reasonably priced set. "We already replaced the tire". How did you already replace the tire if you can't even get the spare off. "We did it before we took off the spare". So I basically just spent $250 for the privileges of being in worse shape than I was before; driving home home with a tire attached by four lugnuts instead of 5 (after they snapped the screw off), and having to lose more time for another trip to pay someone else to fix it. I just had my car serviced by Stonebridge Goodyear. I have been a customer for seven years. On my most recent visit I noticed none of the employees were wearing masks, even though both the State of Texas and the City of McKinney have mandated mask wearing in all businesses. I inquired why they were not following the mandate and Dave behind the counter could not give me an explanation. I will be taking my business elsewhere and recommend others concerned about containing this virus do the same. There are plenty of "safe" options to get your car serviced. The flaunting of the mask mandate, which Governor Abbott put in place to gain control of the virus and to protect the citizens of Texas, says volumes about how Stonebridge Goodyear is managed and their level of concern for their employees and customers. read more

I was promised the tires would be in by 3:00 the next day and here it's two days later and I have heard nothing. The worst part was I had to per pay to get the tires ordered now I have to call my credit card and dispute the charges. Please only use them as a last resort! read more

I have been coming here for several years and always had a good experience. Earlier this year my daughter started driving and in order to teach her responsibility I told her she had to get her oil changed on her own. She went to another business and they attempted to charge her $79 for an oil change. They claimed that the only thing they were allowed to put into her 2012 Chevrolet Captiva SUV was a full synthetic oil. She told them no thank you and called me. I told her to take it to Stonebridge Crossing and they took her right in and charged her $27. No questions just did it. A couple of weeks ago she had a nail in her tire. Again she brought it to Stonebridge Tire and they promptly plugged it and didn't charge her. I serve my country and was gone, they could've easily taken advantage of her by saying she needed a new tire or charged her $30 for a plug but they didn't. I've used this Goodyear store for a couple years to handle oil change, tires, inspections and such and never had any problem but we recently had a tire problem where it got more complicated. We'd hit a hole which resulted in a loud "whomp" and an immediate flat. The spare tire got us to the shop where they got the car in a bay after about 15 minutes wait. The news came, no surprise to us, that the tire was not repairable due to the tire bottom-out and damage to both sidewalls. The worse news was that the custom factory wheel was also damaged. Ugh. We had purchased a tire/wheel warranty from the new car dealer against my better judgement. (It was not my primary car so I didn't make the final decision.) We'd already made one claim on a tire due to a metal shard with no problem but the warranty company resisted on this one... they were OK paying for the tire but not the wheel. Running low profile tires on a wheel that's out of round is seems like a bad idea but the cost of buying a new MB factory wheel wasn't sounding any better with us. Dave (the owner, I think) at Stonebridge told us straight up about the situation and without prodding, said he would work with the warranty company on the situation. Ultimately, we got a new wheel and tire for a modest cost to cover the tread wear from the original tire. It took a little time, but probably saved us $400 or more against the cost of a new factory wheel. It's never fun to spend money on car repairs but when it happens, I want to know I'm not overpaying for the work or getting up-sold on the work. I've always found these guys to be honest and realistic about necessary work... consistent with others who I've referred to this shop who feel they're being treated well. read more

Brought my company truck in with a slow leak on one tire at 9:00 one morning. They said they would have it fixed in a couple of hours. Fast forward to 3:30 that afternoon I give them a call and they said it was all ready to go. When I arrive, there is a new Goodyear tire on the truck (I have Michelins). There was no phone call to tell me the leak could not be repaired, no call to OK the price, and now I have a mismatched tire on my truck. When I asked how much they planned to charge me, I was told to not worry about it since I used a fleet charge card and the company that I work for was paying forward. I will never be back! read more

Bad Service! I've come here for tire services since its close to home and with the idea of saving time, well that has not been accomplished. Last night I came to get a flat tire repaired after about 45 minutes they told me it was ready it had a small piece of glass stoked. Next morning the tire shows flat again, so I replace it with the spare and return to drop off the flat, a couple of hours later they call and say it's ready, so I drove back to pick it up, I waited 10 loooong minutes and they were not installing it on my vehicle so I asked them to load it on my trunk and left, when I got home I replaced the spare tire in my garage, three hours later I am heading out to lunch only to find out the flat strike again!!! This time I remember I have a compressor so I proceed to inflate my broken tire and take it again to the shop, this time they fix it within 25 minutes, when I asked what was the issue they said there was another nail, how is that possible ? Tire was never rotated once installed, I guess I need to watch out for flying nails in my garage :-). read more

Great place and honest people. Went to get my tires balanced and they showed me that one was seperated causing vibration so balance wouldn't help. Didn't charge me anything so I could get tire warranty at discount. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is because while I was in the shop, it felt like I was in an ecig store due to smoke. read more

After going there to get something fixed on my small suv, the service guy told me everything under the sun was wrong with it, and quoted me a VERY high estimate. Ripoff !!! DONT DO IT !!!!! These guys are the worse mechanics I ever had...My wife had her car starter replaced last weekend and by the time she got home her car had a new problem "charging system failure" so she called them and explained and they said "you need a new alternator but bring the car on Monday and we will check it for you" on Monday my wife took the car to their shop and she was told the alternator was bad and needed to be replaced. In that moment she called me and I told her I will have my mechanic look at it. Long story short, the cable that goes from the starter to the alternator was unplug so they either forgot to plug the cable back when they change the starter or they did it on purpose... I just got back from this place, I tried to give them the benefit of the doubt because we all make mistakes, but when explained what my mechanic told me, they basically told me I was lying and that they were not going to admit they made could have made a mistake...so before you decide to take your car to this place keep in mind that they will rip you off. read more

The great reviews on Yelp are what made me choose this place, so not sure why we did not get same experience. Alignment completed - said we needed new tires, so we had to go elsewhere to get Michelin, where they said tie rods were loose, so we should go back since alignment would not be effective. Went back, and they said alignment is ok, did not take tire off to even look at tie rod, yet you release hand from steering wheel, and it veers off to the side right away. Oil Change - got home (live 120 miles away) and oil started to puddle on driveway . Pulled dipstick out, and it was way overfilled. Oil filter was loose. Drained oil out and it filled entire container, appeared old oil was not drained! Also very obvious that it was not greased, as that is easy to tell when dirt grease still cover access points. After phone conversations with irritated manager (should have been shocked not irritated), received a refund. Will never go back. read more
