Oh my goodness!!! It's so hard to find good service, but today 8/10/24 was such a blessed day! I came in as a walk-in with several issues with my truck, and the team greeted and treated me like they truly care. Anthony and the crew educated me on some things and made sure my truck had everything it needed. I would also like to point out that I brought my iPad with some work to do while in their clean waiting room, but I didn't even get to finish my work because the service was so quick. My truck is running better than it ever has thanks to Anthony and the team. I'm still in utter disbelief because I've never felt so at ease at a mechanic shop. I was looking to get a state inspection on my vehicle. I called ahead to see if they were busy and they were quick to answer, saying they weren't. I arrived in the back parking area and was greet by one of the mechanics who kindly directed me to the inside waiting area. The state inspection only took about ten minutes. While I was waiting, I overheard one of the mechanics talking to a different customer about their vehicle. Their interaction gave me the impression that the workers here do care about customers instead of slapping unnecessary car payments, a fear I have when I visit a car shop for the first time! The service here is amazing! I went in primarily for a state inspection and consult on my vehicle's A/C, and left a very happy customer. The technician who did the inspection was fantastic! He was friendly, honest, and good at his job. He explained clearly what was needed versus what would be good to update. While the problem with my A/C turned out to be something more than could be solved at Kwik Kar McKinney, I appreciated the honestly of the mechanic and the referral to a more specialized shop. Additionally, once the mechanic realized that he would not be able to fix the issue himself, he waived the full cost of the diagnostic test, Freon included! The consideration, honesty, and overall great quality of the people working at Kwik Kar McKinney, in addition to their efficiency and technical expertise, absolutely makes this place my number one for future auto service and repairs! read more

I had a great experience at this location. I have had my truck serviced here for many years. Recently, I had a backyard mechanic change my oil. I noticed oil drips on my driveway two days later and stopped in this morning to see if they could troubleshoot the issue. We are traveling from Virginia to California and, While in Shreveport, mistakenly ran up on the curb and heard some scraping noise under the car. We were concerned about damage to the undercarriage so I took the car into kwik car and they checked it out for me, finding no substantial damage. The staff was professional, friendly and thorough, Topping off all my fluids and all with no charge. I even returned a few minutes later to I have the air checked in my tires and still no charge. I don't usually give reviews unless I get horrible service or excellent service. This was an excellent experience. I brought my wife's Mustang in for a brake flush and engine oil flush. Spoke with Anthony, who was polite, knowledgeable, professional and honest about what was needed. We ended up being told that the engine flush was not needed at that time as it needed to be done before an oil change (which I didn't know). While waiting we found out that our differential fluid needed to be changed. Anthony took the time to show what the fluid looked like (dark/dirty) and then explained what it should look like. I thought that the explanation was above and beyond how other car service places explain your need for additional service. Brake flush and differential fluid were done without issues and we were given a fair price. Overall great experience and trustworthy service. Keep the good employees around and you'll keep a longevity of customers coming back! read more
