I went here yesterday to get an inspection done so I could register my car. It was busy so I was worried about having to wait for a while but to my pleasant surprise they were able to knock it out in under 30 minutes. I'm top of that they were extremely cheap as well! **SCAM ALERT: STOP AND READ BEFORE GETTING SCAMMED.** I strongly advise denying any repair suggestions made by this facility. I brought my vehicle in for a simple air conditioning issue, and four days later Yes 4 days, I was essentially coerced into paying approximately $2,300 which is 320 dollars extra, under the ultimatum of, "Pay this or leave your car here." Keep in mind initial estimate was 1600 and remaining is extra parts that they broke in the process of "fixing" my car. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The older gentleman at the front desk lacks professional integrity.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] He refused to honor our initial agreement and tacked on extra labor charges that directly contradicted what we had discussed and agreed upon beforehand. I dont know how people of such zero integrity can even look into their own eyes, let alone people around them. Never going back here. read more

I went in for an oil change and somehow was lost in the shuffle of a very busy day BUT they were so apologetic and the manager comped my full service because of this. You would be crazy to get your oil change or work done here. The prices are so high I can't even begin to explain. Oil change for my car was quoted at $100. My truck was $150. They don't take to long which is good. But they will try to up sell you. Air filter was priced ok. But cabin filter was 3 times the actual price. I would keep driving if I was you. read more

Vehicle registration time is always a pain. Usually have an hour wait to get it inspected. Then they try to sell you wiper blades. Inspections usually take an hour. Kwikcar of Melissa got me in immediately. The inspection took less than 15 minutes. They even gave me a veteran discount. Iwas in and out in less than 20 minutes! Easiest Texas inspection in 30 years. They will get to inspect all my vehicles from here on in. Much better than other shops in the area. AND they honor Veterans!!!! read more

I've been to Kwik Kar several times to get services including oil change, brake work, inspection, etc. I've always been blown away at the workmanship, honesty, convenience, quality of people and most of all the value they offer. Our son busted the rear axle on his truck late at night. Luckily we were 1/2 mile from Kwik Kar so we left it in their parking lot overnight and left keys in mailbox. Called Kim when they opened. Kim went above and beyond to find a new axle and have it overnighted and back to us within 2 days. She is amazing! read more
