My wife and I have been going there for the past ( well I forget, I'm getting old ) years, we always use Dr. Biehle but there are so many excellent doctors there that it really wouldn't matter who we used. You will notice when you first walk in how nice everyone is, you can tell they are being real when they greet you and not a fake nice. You will understand what I'm talking about when you walk in. I had to get dentures and Dr. Biehl explained everything to me, it was a long process but it had to be done. I was very pleased with my new dentures, they looked good and fit perfectly. I was able to smile again. The staff are always very friendly and courteous, they make sure you have everything you need before you leave. Horrible. They did not care about me or my teeth, and continuously rescheduled a basic consultation. Three to four times, the day of, or the day before they called or texted me basically telling me either that my appointment didn't exist, or that they were having staffing issues... for a consultation. We went there today. Very shady. We scheduled a first visit cleaning after 2 hours all they did was take X-rays. The dentist was rude and very disrespectful. The technician was nice. I've never been to a dentist that you need two visits to get your teeth cleaned! Pity is now our insurance won't pay for more X-rays and probably not a cleaning at another dentist! I unlike most people do not have an issue with the dentist; however, I do find that it is difficult to get established at a practice after a relocation. Stone creek made this a fairly easy transition. This place is efficient and professional. Each visit I follow the same routine. I do like that I can request certain hygienists or doctors as I find one that I particularly like. Additionally I love the fact that they have a variety of operating hours. I absolutely love Stonecreek Dental and their staff! I have been going here for about 2 years now since I work in the area. I am a teacher so my schedule is weird. They have always been willing to work with me and my need for later times. If I have a last minute dental emergency, they are always willing to squeeze me in. The office staff is extremely welcoming. They always offer water or ask if you need anything. I typically do not have to wait long after checking in, even if they are busy. They are on top of scheduling you and making sure you see the same doctor each time. Dr. Ami Patel has been my doctor most of the time that I have visited. If she is not available then the office staff lets me know ASAP. She is so gentle and sweet and always asks me how school is going. I also love her team that does my teeth cleaning for me. They never fail to make me feel comfortable and we have shared lots of laughs together. I've always had good experiences at Stonecreek with very kind staff. read more

We are so disappointed by Stonecreek Dental. There have been so many issues. They first canceled our appointment with no notice, no empathy and refused to reschedule unless it was next year, 2024. Once escalated, they "found us an appointment." Lots of negative attitude with their team. Once we had an appointment, we received a huge bill. No notice about insurance coverage when the treatment was happening. When I called, the rep was horrible, rude, interrupting and blamed this on me. I've lived in Pickerington since 2003 and have taken my family to Stone Creek Dental shortly after our arrival. Dr. Sanders was practicing back then as well as Dr. Biehle and the service and care that was given was second to none! This is hard to write but needed to bring about change. I received a somno-med 11/2023 after paying 1k upfront and was told they would initiate a claim with my insurance and I would be responsible for the balance. Stone Creek submitted the wrong information or incomplete information a half dozen times and that was only after I called/emailed to inform them the claim was rejected multiple times for insufficient information. It's 2025 the claim has not been paid due to stone Creek's medical billing practices and now I'm being sent to collections for non payment ?? If you accept insurance you have the responsibility to exercise due diligence when processing claims. Stone Creek has a billing problem they refuse to address and I will no longer use their services. read more

First I want to say that Dr Biehle is the the best dentist I have ever been to, all of the dental assistants were excellent, the women at the front desk were always professional and very nice. I had no problem getting in when I was still in a lot of pain. But, my husband and I will not be back to Stonecreek Dental. We have been coming here since 2006. The reason we are not coming back is due to the billing dept girl. I was given an itemized spreadsheet treatment plan. With a lot of work to be done, I also wanted to get my teeth whitened. I paid $105.00 for in-house whitening trays, I signed the paper agreeing to pay everything on this spreadsheet under patient responsibility. When it was time to do the whitening, the billing clerk girl said I did not pay for it and I was never charged. It clearly shows in their computer 'teeth whitening trays' $105.00. I asked THREE times to give me another itemized spreadsheet showing me where my $105.00 went to and she would not produce it. She would talk in circles saying it was my insurance, etc. Once everything was paid from insurance, I broke it down and nope, it was not an insurance issue. The Insurance department was right to penny! To this day I do not know where my $105.00 went. I tried to do their survey to let somebody know but I could not open survey. The assistant I showed it to agreed with me, she went over and talked to the girl and she gave her the same run around. I don't know what else to do or who to talk to about this. All I wanted was a spreadsheet showing me where the $105.00 went to. That is part of the treatment planned I signed for and I take it very seriously when I sign for something. I talked to a girl name Daveo (sp) she said would get me the break down, and I received nothing. The main problem person I have this problem with is named Casey or Tracy. I called the Stonecreek practice in Xenia Ohio and asked if they took BOTH of my insurance plans. The woman told me that they did. I made an appointment and filled out the online forms giving them insurance information for BOTH of my policies. I let them know that the only reason I was coming there was because my current dentist does not take the second one. She again said that they did take it. I arrived to my appointment and gave them my insurance cards. They entered them into their system. It took almost an hour for me to go back and I was the only patient there. They took unnecessary crappy rays. And by crappy I mean the entire screen was white in the panoramic. They took five X-rays to get a look at 11 teeth. The dentist came in and I also told him why I came there and that the dentist I had went to the week before had said they took my insurance but at the end of my appointment they told me they did not. He mumbled something then messed with my bottom teeth and tried to tell me I would need a bunch of work done and blah blah blah...so said I wasn't there for that I was there to get a top denture. He tried to tell me I would need the bottom done first so they could make a partial at the same time. I said no just the top. He said sure we will get a plan written up. The receptionist came in with the plan and THEY LIED because they do not take my insurance. They had MULTIPLE CHANCES to tell me this prior to the exam. These places expect you to get a CareCredit credit card to pay for their ridiculous prices at a 28% interest rate. No thanks. I doubt if I would have even been given adequate care not to mention the denture/partial quality if this is how they do business. Now today I received a $270 bill for the exam and the crappy panoramic X-ray!! It was not even visible and the girl taking it knew that she could barely work the machine and I saw her cringe when the almost completely white picture popped up. She said she was going to "fix it" whatever that means. They were told to email me my X-rays but they did not. All together this was a terrible experience and I would not have even went back if they did take it because the way he was trying to manipulate me into more expensive work. My current preferred dentist runs your insurance and lets you know what you will be paying BEFORE he treats you. That way you can pick what to have done or not do anything if you can't pay for it. I've never given a dental clinic a 5 star review in my history of YELP! The staff here is probably the friendliest and most knowledgeable that I've run across since i've owned my own teeth. I had a slight hesitation about going to a new dentists since we moved to the area, but they walked me through everything they were going to do and even setup a nice treatment plan for my procedure. I had to get a crown since I cracked my tooth on an oyster recently. We walked through the whole process from start to finish and discussed options. This particular location has sedation dentistry so that was a super helpful option when I needed to prep for the crown and to replace some silver fillings with the white porcelain. We scheduled the procedure, walked through the sedation plan, and everything was executed successfully. The follow on appointment was super simple and they installed the permanent crown in under 18 minutes! Looking forward to my next visit! read more

Worst experience! I was suppose to be given laughing gas but they told me they didn't have oxygen and couldn't use it. so they gave me Valium and then didn't wait long enough for it to take effect. It was all very rushed. (the very rude receptionist informed me they were overbooked). Then the dentist did not even introduce himself, when he extracted a tooth I kicked my feet out of reflex, screamed and said it was hurting and he just kept going, when he was done he left the room without a word. read more

First time with Anna and Dr. Patel and they were both great! Anna was so personable and did an amazing job.

I received great actual dental care while here but had extensive billing issues. My insurance is in network and I had a pre treatment estimate done both on Stonecreek letterhead and from my Insurance confirming. My explanation of benefits after treatment perfectly matched the pre-treatment estimates. Then a random bill for 50% more arrived. After lots of avoidance and non returned calls I am finally told their staff who did the estimate messed up. Because some of my treatment plan was not a "covered benefit" the discount my insurance provides was not given. Due to Ohio House Bill 95, apparently dentist's aren't required to give the insurance discount on services your insurance company isn't paying outright for. It's ridiculous because this is one of the main benefits of dental insurance. No empathy expressed just payment required. Treatment is now done so there is nothing I can do. Avoid Stonecreek unless you want to spend hours trying to figure out what you're being billed for and why you're paying much more than they quote. We won't be back for regular dental care if we can't trust them to bill correctly when we have more in depth procedures done. read more

I see I'm not the only one that recognizes just how bad this place has gotten. Back when this place was Centerville Family Dentistry, the entire staff was amazing. Over time, it deteriorated into another typical, sub par dentist's office. Little did I know it would get so much worse. I was told I would need apnea aligners by a Dr. Kulkarni. I was measured not once, not twice, but three times for these aligners - and I still never received them. I would call each time in between asking for an update & I always was told - "I don't know anything about that, the systems are down, the people who could tell you aren't here" - excuse after excuse. I went through this for nearly an entire year before I finally had to yell at one of the people that answered the phone & tell them to get me a manager because I wasn't waiting any longer. The office manager again told me that she couldn't access the system & couldn't cancel the charge then, but she would do it a few days later. Luckily, she called a few days later and promised me the charge was canceled & apologized for my troubles. It turns out that, even though Dr. Kulkarni said a machine would never help my apnea, it did. I'm on a machine that has completely controlled my apnea now. I never needed the aligners in the first place. That's not the worst of it though. Fast forward several months to today & I got yet another bill for the aligners that I never received, that I was promised by the office manager the bill was canceled, and that I genuinely never needed in the first place. I will be expecting a call immediately telling me this was some kind of terrible mistake & there is no charge. Otherwise, Stonecreek will have a lawsuit on their hands for all of the stress they've caused me. I'm currently dealing with a brain tumor. It's benign, but causing lots of issues. I called to make an appointment for a cleaning and was told my insurance was accepted. Upon arriving to my appointment I was impressed with the dental office itself, very nice. The staff was nice too. I was even offered a paraffin wax for my hands, I thought that was weird, I declined. The dentist was in and out very quickly. My husband also had a cleaning . Later, I was sent a bill for over $250. Wha? When I inquired I was told my insurance was out of network. Um. that was an important detail that should have been shared. And $250 is more than two dental cleanings with no insurance. I can't imagine what the bill would have been had I said yes to the paraffin wax. My first appointment at this dentist, I was highly offended by the rudeness of the hygienist, Abby. My gums bleed when I floss because I am allergic to the waxy material that covers floss. Read my chart. I have severe allergies to just about everything that dental supplies are flavored with. Even if I was a bad flosser, it is a violation of privacy to announce to the whole room of patients that I need to be better at flossing and proceed to ridicule me like I am a 6 year old who won't get a treat out of the jar if I don't listen. I originally went to this doctor after experiencing some pain in the left side of my mouth. Dr. Biehlie took some x-rays and told me one of my baby teeth (which I already knew did not have a permanent tooth underneath) was getting weak (as it was a baby tooth and not meant to stay in forever), thus the pain. I agreed to let her pull it. Having had wisdom teeth extracted before, I figured I'd be put under, but no - I was awake for the whole thing and thought she was just about going to pull my head off my shoulders. The tooth finally came out, and here I am 5 years later with no tooth -- the pain is still there, and I am being pushed to get an implant that is a. not covered by my insurance and b. involves a metal post being implanted into my jaw bone which sure as !@#$ isn't going to happen when I STILL HAVE PAIN AND CANNOT CHEW ON THE LEFT SIDE OF MY MOUTH. I went to my oral surgeon who just about crapped his pants when he saw and heard what Dr. Biehlie had done. I have been working with him regarding the issue. My list of complaints could go on and on, including how they offer services like paraffin wax hand-dipping, massaging chairs, and flat screen TVs. Stonecreek is pressuring everyone into getting Invisalign. They had a promotion one week and I (unaware of the promotion) went on the last day. They continuously urged me to get the Invisalign that day. Due to the constant pressure I eventually gave in. $5000 dollars later, I feel cheated and stupid for believing they knew what was best for me. A couple weeks later, my mother went in. Within 5 minutes, the dentist said Invisalign was the way to go. Aware of my situation, she laughed and walked out. This isn't a general dentist, it's a scam. read more

I originally started visiting Stonecreek Dental for invisalign. There is an invisalign "specialist" named Sherri (or Sheryl) who I got to know really well over the course of 2.5 years. She was always really pleasant to see and very knowledgeable about invisalign. Shortly after starting invisalign I decided I liked the office so much that I began doing my cleanings/6 month checkups there. I regularly saw Dr. Sanders. He was a very kind dentist, a little on the goofy side but I can appreciate someone with a sense of humor. While other reviewers were annoyed with the "spa treatments" I have to say I enjoyed them! I've always had good experiences at Stonecreek and my teeth look better now than they ever have. (Thank you, invisalign.) The only reason I did not give 5 stars is that it seemed as though after Dr. Sanders retired I started getting shuffled around to the several different dentists they have on staff. Everyone was super nice and helpful but there's something to be said about establishing a relationship with a dentist and continuing that relationship for as long as you're a client or as long as they're in practice. read more

Decades after having had the most minimal dental care, my aging mouth needed attention. Reviews for Stonecreek were good and it's fairly close (I live in a rural area where most services are pretty far away) so I made my choice. This will be a mixed review... The facilities are nice. It's friendly, clean and always warm or cool enough. They offer a beverage, that's nice, and a cookie, too (more cavities, to fill! Lol) and there is almost no wait. The dental care is competent. I'm quite satisfied with the work so far. Now let's get serious. This has become a never-ending saga. I've been going for over a year now and the procedures go on and on. I still need a lot of work and it is more expensive than I was ever led to believe. They charge for absolutely everything! So far, I've spent about $30,000 and, as I said, I'm not finished. I believe with the amount I am spending, they could render a few complimentary services. I won't go into detail, but they are nickel and diming me to death, on top of my regular bills. Also, my insurance will not pay for these services and even though they get paid after each procedure, miscellaneous bills still arrive after the fact. They often come from an outside billing service and they always indicate that they're late. They now plan to send me to a specialist for something I believed was going to be done at Stonecreek. It's not what I wanted. All this will end up costing me as much as if I were buying a house. Is this really fair? Should a person have to mortgage the farm to keep their teeth? I'm not blaming Stonecreek entirely. They're just part of a corrupt system. read more

After years (and YEARS) of searching for a good, kind, non-creepy, HONEST dentist office, I found Stonecreek... because I heard on the radio that they were offering a free iPad with any invisalign service! Lol! (this was a while ago) I started going there as a patient and fell in love with Dr. Snyder. So I have been very scared to leave a review since last year when I moved but I had to get this off my chest. This dental facility was the the most traumatic experience I have ever had. I stopped going here last year because after Dr biehle sold me the expensive night guard I had questions. I was laughed at by the staff whenever I called. Jasmine always rushed me and would say bye and quickly hang up the phone on me all the time after saying bye abruptly. Also when I told dr biehle i had questions about my nightguard or when I had questions she rolled her eyes at me many times. I contacted them before I moved for help through online and phone and they ignored me and dr. biehle told her staff to tell me not to come to their dental facility anymore. I cried for months due to the intense pain I felt physically and psychologically. I have never felt so humiliated in my life and I was in so much pain. okay well I was told I was going to have to pay $111 for x-rays when I called regarding my EOB. We have never had to pay for anything for a semi-annual cleaning. Needless to say it was the person at the front desk that said we had to pay it, however, the billing lady called and said they adjust that if you were not due and were a new client. This practice consistently overcharges the patient before the patient leaves the office. Then they bill insurance. When we get the insurance payment records (EOB) it's clear that we were overcharged. Between what we paid and what our insurance paid they always end up owing us money back. We have to call them and beg for them to return the money to us. It can take months of calls. They never have sent overpaid money back to us without us asking. They just hang onto it. What if we weren't closely monitoring the billing information from the insurance company? It shows what insurance paid and what we owe. We always owe less than what we were charged before leaving this office. This doesn't happen at any other dental office we've been to. They are overcharging the patient and earning interest on our money until (if) we figure it out. read more

Warning! I took my family of 6 to Dr. Brown and at first he seemed very legitimate. But after continually going to his office, my whole family complained they were extremely rough during the cleanings. We also noticed they were really prodding our gums when checking the depth of them. They informed my husband and I that we both needed deep cleanings. This did not add up since I had got a deep cleaning the year before and I've always been vigilant about going every 6 months for cleanings and always brush my teeth. He also told me that I needed 3 crowns done. None of this made sense! I decided to take our family to another dentist and quickly learned his office was in a fact a crook. The other dentist didn't hurt when cleaning and they didn't find any teeth that needed work. They said my gums were just fine and definitely didn't need a deep cleaning. It should not hurt when checking the depth of your gums! I highly advise anyone to get a second opinion after seeing him. I never go out of my way to write bad reviews. I've been coming here for approximately two years now. The staff is always super friendly from the receptionist, dental assistants, hygienists, and dentists. They have plenty of appointment times, dont lecture (my biggest pet peeve about prior dentists), and don't waste your time. I knew a cavity turned abcess I had was responsible and I dreaded going to a dentist because every other time I've gone to one it sucked.
