This place has great word of mouth! Stacey was very professional and friendly, and fixed and cleaned my ring in 30 mins for a very very very small fee. However, when I went home that night, I realized there was still a loose stone in my ring. So I had to wait until Tuesday (they're closed Sun and Mon) to bring it back. He fixed it again for me (this time for free,) and took time to explain how my ring was built, and what may have happened to cause the loose stones. The woman had me speak to the jeweler. He was rude to her and to me yet agreed to do it and wrote it down on the receipt. The pearls when I picked them up were simply strung onto the gold chain. I was furious and disappointed, but polite. The woman there remembered me and knew he did it incorrectly. They still charged me full price and told me they'd fix it. But I would have to pay, again. He felt he did nothing wrong. Acted as if we'd never met. The pearl necklaces were gifts from my MIL and her funeral was that week. I didn't have time to wait weeks, again. Do not trust this jeweler. He will attempt to gaslight his employee & customer into thinking we got it wrong! Even when the directions are clearly written on the receipt. My husband went in once to have a necklace made for me. One pearl on a gold chain. An add a pearl necklace was the intent to follow along with a family tradition we have. The necklaces were begun at another, reputable jeweler that is 13 hours away. Husband was told it was a real pearl necklace by Hollands & they could add pearls later. Eventually the pearl broke in half, clasp broke as well. I brought it to Hingham Jewelers where my MIL began the add a pearl tradition. I was told this was not the appropriate kind of pearl, that's why it broke, and the chain had to be scrapped. Absolutely will never use this jeweler again. (Only giving one star due to the app not allowing zero)
