I had to unfortunately have him come early because my garage wouldn't open and he came quickly to help me get to work and my garage was fixed before I got home from work. Yvette has always been very accommodating and responds to emails quickly. She's been very friendly as well. We moved from an upstairs to downstairs apartment and she helped us out the whole way and were glad she was able to help us. We love living here.

But we would have stayed if they had something, they always were very welcomed to us, I am going to miss this place so many good memories. The management office does a great job creating a homey atmosphere and community environment, especially with events in the common area for special holidays. We really appreciated the excellent work of the property manager Francine - she really helped make us feel welcomed and known during our time there. The property itself is well managed and well cared for with beautiful landscaping, clean walkways, as well as little updates you notice here and there. The recent updates we noticed were the new pool furniture and the new upholstery for the fitness equipment. The pool, fitness center, and laundry room are gated. The mailboxes are located right next to the management office. The laundry facilities are activated with a laundry card that can be filled in the management office (during office hours). Each unit is assigned one parking spot in a 2-car shared garage with manual doors. However there is plenty of street parking available so you can coordinate parking if you have more than one car. Street parking can fill up (especially after 6PM) so having more than two cars may be challenging. The property is located at the end of the street so it feels relatively safe. I would just exercise caution in what you leave behind in your car. Any issues we had in our apartment, we simply emailed the management office and the manager made sure a repairman came right away. We had a couple issues with our window/porch screens, a kitchen sink leak, and hot water but the repairmen were very knowledgeable. When the heat was particularly bad and mosquitos were on the rise, a technician was called in to assess the problem. They always made sure to ask for our permission to enter our home, especially if we were not going to be there. We had also requested for anyone entering to wear bootcovers, which they always respected. All around we had a positive experience at Glen Oaks. It seemed like more changes were to come. We will always think of Glen Oaks as our first home!

I don't know any of them but I never had any problem letting them in while I'm away or at work when I need something done inside my apartment. The only complaint I have is that the laundry machines and dryer that they were contracted with. Amount goes up so fast when the machines are not working properly and the dryer company don't even clean the dryers. Washing machines stopped in the middle of washing and u don't refund for the coins you use for the machine. Overall I'm satisfied except the washer and dryer company they were contracted with.

From administration to maintenence, everyone has been extremely courteous, friendly, and helpful. I love walking through the apartments as they do their best to keep the grass maintained and the plants thriving. They were also quick to respond to the pandemic and has kept us up to date on all rules and regulations (e.g. mask wearing is enforced when interacting with one another, pool area have designated markings for tables and chairs to enforce social distance while still making use of their amenities, etc.). I love the fact that each household is given 1 carport for parking. It definitely relieves the stress of having to fight for parking as I've notice with those who live on the neighboring side of our gated apartment. As for tenents who owns a second car, parking inside the gate is not really an issue. I was always able to find parking at a decent hour. The only thing I would say is a negative is that there is no central AC and living in SoCal during the dead heat of summer, it can get really hot. The only AC that is located in the living room does a decent job of keeping us cool, but I wish there was one in the bedrooms. Overall, my stay here have been great! Would definitely recommend taking a look into if you are considering this as your future residence.

Unless you like widow spiders and roaches crawling on you at night. Complex is full of creepy old men who follow you and drug dealers. The gates are always open and your water will be shut off several times a month if you're lucky enough to have hot water at all. Also there is loud construction at all hours every day as well as loud landscaping several days a week, hope you don't want to sleep in. I'm in a new home now and have never been happier. Save yourself the headache and expenses.
