Then instead of making my food and sending it out late they cancelled my order with no notice. Three of us got the $3.99 2 slices and a drink lunch special, while Tim got the chicken parm sandwich and Brenda got wings. The lunch special slices are sitting under a warmer at the end of the ordering counter. I was impressed bc it wasn't just a cheese only or pepperoni only selection. I ended up with 2 slices of their BBQ pork pie. It was great! I'm not a huge BBQ sauce fan unless it's vinegar based, but this sauce was still good. Not ketchup tasting or too sweet. I'd definitely advise getting dipping sauce for the thick crust too. The crust was good on its own, but I like to dip anyway, and this thick crust needs it IMO. Sooo, why 4 stars after one visit? Well, as our late lunch turned into early day drinking, the guys at the bar saw my menu I had and ordered pizza from them again a few hours later. This time I tried a bite of a deluxe slice and it was awesome. The sauce again was great and the bell peppers were still crisp and flavorful. Great stuff. I order here pretty often since it's so close to my home. I always get the carry out special for $8 since it's so cheap and usually fills me and my husband up. They also have lunch specials and some sandwiches. Sometimes they do have someone who is able to get on the Air Force base to deliver so that's a big plus for me (you just have to ask over the phone if anyone is able to.) The service is here is great for the most part unless they're extremely busy which I understand. We ordered a pizza, wings, a salad, and 1 drink. We received a pizza, wings, no salad, and the wrong drink. I called when I discovered there was no salad and was told "oh yeah we're out of lettuce"..... I've worked in food and bev my entire life never once have I ever heard of a customer just not receiving a 1/3 of their order with no explanation prior to receiving it. No one tried to call or text me to tell me they couldn't do the salad. No one called me once my order was received to offer a refund. I had to call and on the phone after that first statement I said "well I paid for a salad so what's the plan here" and was then offered a refund. I get this is "stoners" pizza joint and I'm sure no one actually cares about business but I'm shocked by the customer service here. I also ordered an iced tea and received a Dr Pepper, again no explanation. I expect a refund of the salad, the drink, and the full amount of the tip asap. The pizza was nothing to brag about. Equivalent to gas station pizza. The wings were pretty good, smoked and fall off the bone but the Buffalo sauce was oily.
