Cool park. Clean. Well maintained. Good equipment. Walking trails, dog park, volleyball court, soccer fields, and they even have motion lights and cameras for safety. Great park for the kids!

Beautiful open space park with two playgrounds. Volley ball court and sKate park. Love the trees and shade they provide. Plenty of room for kids of all ages to run around and burn energy.

There is plenty of grass in the large dog area, and the trees give them shade when they need to rest from running hard. Small dog area is too small, and doesn't allow much room to run for smaller dogs. It's is also mostly dirt and prickly weeds. Yuck. They need to make a larger area for smaller dogs that isn't all shade, so some good grass can grow. I'll be going back because it is so close and convenient. But I still have high hopes for some improvements.

The only reason this park gets 2 stars is that it's fenced and has separate areas for big and small…read moreareas. It's in a cute neighborhood, too. That said, my dog-loving friends and I were quite disappointed for the following reasons: 1. SANDBUR (GRASSBUR) whatever you call it. Three times I caught my baby girl limping because the burrs got stuck in/between her paws. :-( They are really painful and they are ALL OVER the big dog side hidden in the grass. I'm never taking her again for that reason. 2. Small dog side is TINY. Seriously, the people who built it must think small dogs don't run or that they only run in circles. I only have a big dog, but my friends who had small dogs were very frustrated. (That said, the small side is fenced properly with no escape room.) 3. It lacks seating area. 4. Water is outside. If you bring your own bowl, it's not a big deal. But it's a con. 5. It's kind of boring... No agility. And it seems like hardly any people go there - probably because of the burrs! Suggestion - Go to Stoney Creek Dog Park (AKA Harris-Ridge Dog Park) at the border of Pflugerville/Austin instead. It's way better for both big and small dogs!

Another Texas Dog Park fail. This rating is more for the…read moreusers of the park than the park itself. The park itself is big and lovely with waste bags filled and trash can conveniently located at entrance - both at the ready to be used. As I walked my dog around the park for the first time, I was appalled to see Pet parents leaving piles and piles of dog poop all around the park. The city is spending money to create a safe environment for our pets, and those of you who use the parking do not pick up your dogs poop or to be reprimanded. As I took one lap around the park with my dog I literally picked up 40 piles...4-0! For those of us who are looking for large safe and clean place for our pets to play and socialize, why do we still in this day and age have to put up with pet parents who will not take responsibility for their pets? I did what I could for the next visitor this morning, but will think twice about coming back again. It's a shame - because I've been looking for such a lovely place for my pet for months now. I thought I had found it. If you don't mind your dog running and stepping into dog poop or you stepping into it every other step. I recommend a park. But for those who are fussy like me, consider self warned. And finally a warning to those who will visit during the summer when the grass is not quite so full. My pup got so many burrs in his feet that he could not walk home. A trip to the vet was required to pull those really tricky deep ones out. This is a summary of yet another failure in my search for a decent dog park near Taylor, Texas.

The construction crew and ruined alot of natural trees, brush and grass. We are hoping the clean up all the trash and have some type restoration plan. I am not anti progress but this is not progress. I wish whoever approved this project owned a home here and had to live through this mess.
