More recent google satellite image shows the fenced-in safety area between the park and the street.

I still like this place, but I no longer give it 5 stars. Why? Because the grass burrs are terrible and people do not clean up after their dogs. Gross. My dogs have long hair and it's a pain (literally) to brush the burrs out. This is still a really decent open area to let dogs run and run and run. There is basic agility equipment. This place is best in the early morning or cooler months. There is no shade or water, so bring your own water. The added fence/gate at the entrance is a huge plus because the main gate is close to a fairly busy street (Bratton Lane). The added safety area assures dogs won't run out as new people enter.

Newly built and extremely needed Gazebo! Providing some sort of shade and even has an electrical outlet :)

To have this dog park in our community is a blessing. Somewhere so close by where our little furballs can run around, play, meet new friends and get socialized. There are a few cons but overall the pros outweigh them. Yes, there could be more shade for both 2-legged and 4-legged alike. The grass could be better kept, there should be a water faucet, could be more clean, etc. but it all comes back to the convenience of having this huge open grass space for exercise and socialization. I've been coming for a couple of years now and the other dogs and owners have pretty much all been nice and I've never had any real issues when visiting. If you live in the area, I highly recommend visiting. You and your furball won't be disappointed.

This is the wrong address. The actual dog park is very hard to locate off of Bratton rd. Keep an eye on your pups, especially the small ones as there are some hazards.

I think the park overall is spacious, even for the small dog side. I tend to walk around the field…read moreno matter where I go just in case other dogs become reactive but we had a pleasant experience. There's a small obstacle course for the pups and plenty of water troughs, but I'm not sure how to fill them with fresh water. The issue with those is that dogs tend to lay in there, and the water becomes undrinkable -- which they're dogs it's whatever but I wish there were bowls or fountains instead. You should be aware to bring water along with you since although there at least four of these types of troughs as I'm calling them, they don't appear clean or easy to refill. (Maybe next time someone can show me). Other than that it's spacious enough and I haven't been on a weekday morning yet but the weekends there are definitely dogs for your dog to play with. PS: If you've never been, Park Ln is actually closed off. So your GPS will advise you to still attempt that way but lookout for the detour signs and you'll have to enter the street and over the small bridge where it says "Do Not Enter" because technically it's a one way access. Took me awhile to figure it out but I'm also not the best at directions.
