Wells Branch Dog Park when I have visited has been a nice and well maintained dog park. They gave two separate off leash areas. One for smaller dogs and the other for bigger dogs. They have agility courses for the dogs to keep them occupied. My dog loves going there and it is very convenient as it is super close to me. There are times I have noticed the park is closed for random reasons that I'm unaware of. Overall a decent park to take your pup to burn off some energy. read more

I only come here because I am too lazy or don't want to drive to Round Rock Dog Depot and want somewhere close and a big open space to let my little dog run around outside in. There's one basic equipment for agility, which is a trapezoidal platform thing. They've also added a doggie poop station for bags so that's a nice plus. I live in the neighborhood so its convenient to have a big open space to let my dog run around/sunbathe at that's not my backyard. This park is fairly maintained thoigh like several of other reviewers state: BRING YOUR OWN WATER (for yourself and your pup). There is ONE shared area. And SOLELY shaded at that. It's a gazebo which means the sunbeams can enter in so its more like a glorified stationary sun umbrella. There's wooden fences on two sides of the enclosure with warning signs that says, "WARNING. NO DOGS ALLOWED. UNSAFE AREA". Don't go in that area. It's basically a drainage ditch with grass in it. Overall it's a place where my dog can roam freely but it's a so-so place for actual "dog park" play read more

I still like this place, but I no longer give it 5 stars. Why? Because the grass burrs are terrible and people do not clean up after their dogs. Gross. My dogs have long hair and it's a pain (literally) to brush the burrs out. This is still a really decent open area to let dogs run and run and run. There is basic agility equipment. This place is best in the early morning or cooler months. There is no shade or water, so bring your own water. The added fence/gate at the entrance is a huge plus because the main gate is close to a fairly busy street (Bratton Lane). To have this dog park in our community is a blessing. Somewhere so close by where our little furballs can run around, play, meet new friends and get socialized. There are a few cons but overall the pros outweigh them. Yes, there could be more shade for both 2-legged and 4-legged alike. The grass could be better kept, there should be a water faucet, could be more clean, etc. but it all comes back to the convenience of having this huge open grass space for exercise and socialization. I've been coming for a couple of years now and the other dogs and owners have pretty much all been nice and I've never had any real issues when visiting. If you live in the area, I highly recommend visiting. You and your furball won't be disappointed. read more

Awesome enclosed park to bring your pups. You need to bring your own water for them, however great mid sized fenced park. Sits inside a neighborhood; I have been recently and I have not seen any small holes or anything. One of my dogs is a Pom and he is an escape artist- he hasn't gotten out of this park. They do have poop bags for you. Only one trash can and it's by the entry gate, not too bad. There are usually toys left there and we often trade out toys if our pup finds one they like, we leave a toy that they have not played with in a while. Super fun place. read more

This place is good if you live in the area and don't feel like driving. The people are generally friendly, and the dogs are well-behaved. There is a lot of space for your dogs to run, and they have some sub-par agility equipment, but they at least have it. It's the things they don't have that make this park less than great. There is no shade and no water, so if you forget, you're SOL. But my biggest complaint and why I don't go there anymore is one reason: burrs. There are so many of the things, and if you have a long-haired dog, you are going to spend about 10 minutes taking the burrs out of you dog's fur. It's probably better if you have a dog with a short coat. Overall, this place is convenient if you live in the area, and it has a lot of space. But the lack of water and shade, and the abundance of burrs makes this place good only for a last resort. read more

My sister and brother-in-law live in the area and I use to live here. This is a nice place to get some off-leash time with my dog. It's good for socialization. There are times when there are no dogs and I like using those times to get some one-on-one off leash time with my dog. There's a double gated entrance to keep dogs from getting loose. The people are generally nice, since they're neighborhood folk, so there's a crowd of regulars. CONS: no shade, not everyone picks up after their dogs I come up here on a semi regular basis for family stuff, so coming here is not that big a deal even though it is quite the drive. I probably wouldn't drive up to this area JUST for this dog enclosure. For what it is, it's not bad. read more

This should not be considered a dog park. This is a big open area; pretty much a hole in the wall. There is no parking, there's a very mini drive-through in front. It's very easy to miss this place. There is no shade other than the gazebo and it's pretty much a big ditch... My pups deserve better... read more

I had the hardest time finding this place... my gps took me somewhere down the street and I had to ask 2 different people where it was. There is 0 parking, you have to park on a residential street and walk to the entrance. There is no water, it's messy (old ratty toys EVERYWHERE), no shade, and there were no other dogs there! I figured at 10am on a Saturday a dog park would be poppin! My little pup just played by himself :( we could've done that at home! I was very disappointed and will not go back read more

The location is convenient and it's fenced, but the people who were there were not in the least bit friendly. No one said hello or even smiled. No one redirected their dogs, not the one who growled at my dog, not the one who jumped on me, nor the super slobbery dog who kept following me even when I told him to stop.
