Best burgers in the state--no question…read more Everything here hits on a different level. The sauces! Flavor combinations and the best bun ever made! Clearly homemade and honestly unforgettable. Every bite felt was the perfect marriage of flavors, they really care about doing burgers right. We keep a running list of the best burgers we've tried (and it's a competitive list), and this one didn't just make it, it shot straight to the top. This is not your average fast food burger... not even close.

Why does everything they sell have to have aioli or arugula or some weird overbearing sauce. Would have been happier with a d nice burger with at least an option to get lettuce/tomato and onion on it. Our party of 3 tried different burgers and we all had complaints. Sauce WAY too spicy, the crispy onions on my Bob's burger looked like something that can out of a can and not real onion crisps and the other was just plain bland. All burgers were bland. Buns felt like day-old buns from the grocery store and were barely toasted. Clearly made in a rush. Fries were so-so regular fries were a bit over-done and the garlic fries were OK . Biggest complaint is the brice - grossly overpriced for the quality of food. Making burgers with odd-ball ingredients doesn't make it gourmet - just weird. This place needs to step up its game an focus on quality food, not just weird burgers..

The soup was perfect on this cold day. I would have been fine with the bowl of soup but I had to add a sandwich (for later). I ordered "The Pilgrim" with no onion no tomato, and it came with a bag of chips. You don't have to rack your brain trying to decide what kind of chips because they only have one kind. I was really bummed cause when I finally sat down to eat the sandwich at dinner the first thing I smelled was ONIONS and then saw the tomatoes. I picked them off hoping the taste of onions didn't penetrate the lettuce. The sandwich was amazing. It was huge. So big I only managed to get through half and had the other half for lunch the next day. Despite the onion and tomato on my sandwich, I still think they earned that 4 star review.

Ordering is easy and they offer a free slice of bread. The staff is friendly and answers all questions. We tried the pilgrim sandwich and turkey pesto. The sandwiches had decent flavor but nothing to write home about. The process is very school lunch approach. Bagged mini carrots that were not fresh or a mini bag of Lays potato chips as a side. The bread was good and the order comes with a pickle. You have to pay 5$ for a bag with a handle. They forgot half our to-go order and we had to ask for it after we finished eating our dine-in order. They failed to mention they only serve Pepsi products, so heads up. Great for dessert and basic sandwich. Skip the rest. Friendly Staff. The workers were all too busy talking and laughing to take our order, so we stood there for 5-10 minutes until we got our order in. I ordered a club sandwich without mayo which is simple, and when they got down and asked if I wanted to have mayo, I again said no. She then proceeded to put mayo all over it even though I tried stopping her as she spread it. She then attempted to wipe it off (which obviously wasn't successful). When I asked for a new one, she just looked at me like I was dumb and said that she had gotten it all off. They did not make me another one! They then didn't have bacon, so we had to wait 15 minutes for the bacon, and then when it was done, it took another 5 or so minutes for them to put it on the sandwiches and serve them to us. I will not be coming back!!!

(Nothing or no one went above and beyond to get a sold five stars from me, but I digress). We love ourselves some heart food, both hot and cold cuts of meat as well! Hot: #56, the Big Kahuna. If you're in the mood for a delightful Philly cheesesteak, you're in luck because they make one of the yummiest. BONUS there is a "secret menu" and if you ask for the #99 you'll get this sandwich made with Chipotle Mayo. Cold: #8, the Club Sub. This is the typical sandwich your cute mother packs you when you spend a day riding on a boat or going on a hike. Bacon, cheese, turkey and ham... the works. But don't forget to get it "Mike's Way" for that special zest. TIPS & TRICKS: * If you're looking for a little less carbs, ask for your Sub in a Tub and they'll make your sandwich perfectly places in a container and you can eat it like a salad. * There are lots of little dessert places surrounding this restaurant as well, so make a fun night out of it! Peruse Yelp and grab some cookies or ice cream or doughnuts to help wash down your sandwich!

About half the tables were full. The cashier greeted us cheerfully and offered help from the menu. From start to finish, he has friendly and attentive. The menu is large, and includes everything from reasonably priced (sub $10) sandwiches and wraps, to salads, burgers, fried sides, desserts, and even keto offerings! We ordered a Cobb salad and a Patty Melt and pickle fries. The pickle fries were the most lackluster. Nothing obviously bad that I can point out, they just weren't very good. My salad was very standard. Again, nothing wrong, just nothing I couldn't make at home out of a bag. My friend did really enjoy her patty melt and curly fries. Also, points for having both Pepsi and Coke options in the fountain! Another note, you won't buss your own table. Leave your food there.

Maybe I'm missing something-likely the nostalgia that others have from years of visiting-but it didn't wow me. Like, at all. First of all, everything feels dingy and dirty. Kind of like your grandma's kitchen that's been around For.Ev.Er. and has a film of dirt and caked on dust upon every surface. That's what it felt like here. It was nice that you can order a custom sandwich by filling out a paper order form and handing it to the cashier. It felt kind of old fashioned and slower pace, which can be fun. I ordered a turkey sandwich and a cup of soup. The sandwich was ok-the turkey was fresh and carefully sliced. But the soup was lackluster. It was reminiscent of something Campbell's might make, or just a mass produced frozen concoction you get at Costco. Either way it was very mid. Would I return? Sure, if someone else really wants to go there. But if I have a say, I'll probably move on to something else.
