We come here all the time. And we always have a really good time. Parking is always super easy to find as they have their own parking lot and a shared parking lot. Seating is always easy as well especially at lunch time which is usually when we go. Service is always amazing! The staff is always very attentive! Our glasses are never empty. I had a Mediterranean Salad. It was so good! I ordered a small but it was still soooo much! I couldn't finish it and had to take it home. I also ordered jalapeño poppers! I love those from my child hood! They were pretty good, when I was a kid they had sour cream inside and you dipped them in cheese but I liked this way!!!! These had the cheese inside and you dipped them in the sour cream! It was like art! My son had a turkey sandwich on wheat bread. They should probably add that to the kids menu..... it had SOOOOOOOOOO much turkey. We had to take most of it off because his little mouth couldn't take a bite lol! But once we made it kid sized he really enjoyed it and the fries! He also enjoyed my salad even though he said about the quinoa "I don't like that rice" lol! But he liked the rest of it so that good. The pickle that came with the sandwich we enjoyed too! It wasn't too sweet or too sour. I'm curious if they pickle them in house because they were really good. Prices are normal for a NY Diner.... This place is big , clean and the staff and owners are really nice. Went to stop 20 diner with my husband and met a group of 35-45 people for a NYC Retired transit Bus operators Monthly breakfast. The food was good as stated by all who were in attendance. There was always coffee refills as well as tea and juice refresh. We were in our own section talking and laughing and celebrating past and present retirees. I can truly see why they chose this place it was bright comfortable and just a pleasant atmosphere. Insider tip: It literally came with like 4 chicken breasts on it though, so probably better to share if you're not starving. Been to this diner a couple times now and I like it cause it's out of the way and they have a nice parking lot so it's easy to get in and get out. It's exactly what you would expect from a diner. The food was good not great or life changing . I got the two eggs any style with sausage, ham and bacon with chocolate chip pancakes and a side of fries as well as a cup of hot chocolate with whipped cream(not pictured). I usually stick to their breakfast foods whenever I come here and that's always good and consistent. Gave this place 4 stars because I wasn't exactly greeted as soon as I came in . It was pretty empty so we got seated at a booth and dived into the expansive menu. I landed on the Belgian waffle with a side of scrambled eggs and a hot green tea. This is a diner I always enjoy but yesterday I just was upset with the service. I was eating with my daughter and we were taking out a dinner special for my husband. I was ordering everything and said what deserts do you have. waitress said I couldn't have desert because we were taking out. But i was eating there with my daughter. All items served with complimentary fruit bowl and juice. It's not bottomless alcohol, but it's a healthier option. Many have bragged about the large paninis, so I had to order one. I ordered the Mediterranean Panini. Fresh spinach, sun dried tomatoes, mozzarella and grilled chicken, slathered in pesto sauce. It could be split amongst 3 people. Very filling. Stop 20 is the diner my friends and I go to when we have the late at night munchies or need a good talk with each other. The waiters are friendly and don't rush you. Normally I order pancakes, but this last time I ordered chicken fingers. I asked for honey mustard and hot sauce on the side. I don't know if they make or buy the honey mustard but I wasn't crazy about theirs. I guess it wasn't as creamy as what I prefer. The waiters kept the coffee cups full and service outstanding. So i ordered the Maryland delight and if you see the photos attached you'll see exactly what that is. I don't like the fact that the description states JUMBO LUMP CRAB CAKES but the meal is actually jumbo imitation crab meat patties. It's not disgusting, but I'm personally not too fond of initiation crab meat so I'm just a bit disappointed. The cheese grits and spinach are wonderful though. I ordered a Belgian waffle with strawberries for my son and he absolutely loved it so that's what's more important lol. I also ordered the fresh lemonade and a slice of strawberry cheesecake; both delicious and the cheesecake slice is a great size. Ambiance and wait staff: full disclosure: we came here at 2am for some drunk food! The wait staff was very helpful and attentive. Evan was great! My cousin called him a god! He was funny! The ambiance is nice, it's a regular diner, clean and fairly modern! Food: we ordered typical drunk food. Also ordered were scrambled eggs and pancakes and regular French fries with melted mozzarella as well! The grilled cheese was awesome! It was super gooey, and crisp. And it wasn't too greasy like most diner grilled cheeses are! The waffle fries were great with the melted mozzarella on top! and the brown gravy was the best brown gravy I've had at a diner. It was a dark brown and so tasty, it had so much flavor. The pancakes were sweet, I liked them. I didn't try the eggs though. The fries were good too... but honestly, anything dipped in that gravy would be amazing ! I saw an awesome breakfast menu on our way out, they apparently have all sorts of sweet and savory breakfast dishes. Pretty great diner - my friends and I had minimal complaints! Came to Stop 20 for brunch and was super pleased with their extensive menu. Yes, yes - all diners have crazy long menus - but we loved the dedicated brunch menu they had, $14.95 for your brunch entree which came with all sorts of sides, like fruit salad. If in the mood for something to spice up brunch, there were brunch cocktails listed as an add-on as well. Service was wonderful and quick - our waiter was very friendly, patient and helpful as we changed our minds a few times. My French Toast was delicious (loved the sprinkling of cinnamon they added; not everyone does that) and came out pretty quickly. Customer service here is horrible. I order the southern chicken and waffles off of the brunch menu. The menu says the the chicken is smothered in Honey Sriracha. My meal came with honey mustard and the chicken was extremely hard. I asked about the honey sriracha and was told by the waiter they don't do a honey sriracha sauce. How the meal comes with honey mustard but he can give me some sriracha sauce on the side. I showed him on the menu what it says and he basically shrugged his shoulders. I asked to speak to the manager regarding the meal cause I felt it's false advertising on the menu. The manager came and I explained to him what happened. He told me I should have asked him in the beginning to mix the honey sriracha. I don't understand why I should ask for something that's already advertised on the menu. He says well the waiter gave me the sauce. I said yeah, after I asked about the sauce. Then he proceeds to say "what do you want me to do?" I just said forget it and gave him my plate. He did take $10 off the bill and apologized to my brother-in-law. Nothing said to me but "what do you want me to do." I edited my review just to fix a typo and I just got a VERY rude message from the establishment . This was his message to me: First off, my staff and I were not rude to you or the people you were with...Yet you decided to Post two times about the same experience, and now you are updating your review...I don't know what your problem is, but this is my for of lively hood. Shame on you, because we did do our part and offered you another meal in exchange, and I deducted money off the bill... Have a great day! Life is short, have a happy heart.
