I had to repeat my coffee order twice to the employee while he was busy looking for French Vanilla creamer. The whole point of calling ahead is for the order to be ready when you get there! To top it off, the person working the front counter this morning was definitely not a happy camper... not a single smile or welcoming vibe at all. The weekend front desk staff is always so friendly, approachable, and smiling, but unfortunately, this person was the exact opposite. On the bright side, the Brunson sandwich was absolutely delicious, and the chipotle sauce gives it a fantastic flavor. The coffee itself was okay, but it had way too much French Vanilla creamer and I didn't taste the caramel syrup like I usually do. The service was good, and the atmosphere is exactly what you'd expect from a diner classic diner ambiance and casual vibes. The food was definitely yummy overall. I had the eggs over medium with corned beef hash and home fries, and that was really good. My partner had the bacon omelet, and he said the quality of the bacon was really good and that they were generous with the amount they put inside the omelet. He also ordered french fries, which he wasn't really a fan of. They had a thicker consistency and didn't have much flavor, but they weren't terrible either. One disappointment was finding out they no longer serve waffles, because I was definitely looking forward to a Belgian waffle. We ended up getting pancakes instead, and honestly, I wouldn't recommend them. The pancake was kind of weird it didn't absorb the syrup at all, and the syrup itself tasted watered down. When I brought it to the manager's attention, instead of taking the complaint seriously, I was told it was "impossible" for that to have happened. On another occasion, I placed an online order and arrived 40 minutes later, expecting it to be ready. The employee told me it still wasn't prepared because he was the only person working. I then waited another 25 minutes while several walk-in customers were served before me. Between the food safety issue, the dismissive response from management, and the extremely poor service, this has been one of the worst customer experiences I've had. I won't be returning, and I can't recommend this location to anyone.
