I made my order through Yelp, I pulled up took a picture of the sign and even though reviews are normal taking photos of an establishment will get their attention. The guy who help me was super nice and welcoming, I was able to capture a photo with him in it by the menu, and the other guy behind the counter was funny. The food was delicious from the eggs to the home fries and the turkey sausage wasn't as good but it didn't disappoint me. They have a small diner set up with counter stools and it's very clean so I'll be coming back soon to dine-in. This place is a true neighborhood gem and I'm not going to complain about the prices although I want to but everything is expensive now a days so sigh. read more

Found this spot via Yelp as my car was getting serviced nearby and decided to get breakfast as it was taking longer than I had hoped it would. Good call on my part. Small, clean coffee shop with attentive service. Had coffee, water, a Mediterranean/Greek Omelet (onion, tomato, spinach and feta) with grits and rye toast (whiskey down). Good sized portions and quite tasty and filling. Will definitely return. read more

Ignore the website, because whoever built it clearly hasn't been to the coffee shop. They don't do espresso drinks or Turkish coffee or pastries or things like that. But, their regular drip coffee is drinkable (even for an espresso snob). My dining companion says the decaf is surprisingly good. They make breakfast oatmeal fresh to order (which takes a while), and you can customize it with milk, sweeteners, fruit, etc. it's very large and watery. The pancakes smell amazing. They take cash and there's an atm in the corner. Service is a bit slow when it's busy (eg Sundays). It's basically the only place open around here on a Sunday, so be prepared to wait a bit and make way for the next diners! Nice comfortable booths and friendly servers. read more

This place is legit! I'm grateful for my fellow Yelpers suggesting this place. The food is simple but tasty. Breakfast, in my opinion, is only as good as the coffee with which it is served. As another reviewer mentioned, the coffee is indeed good. Their version is a delicate melange but firm enough to burnish the spirit. I had the French toast with pork sausage. One could reasonably argue that it needs more cinnamon and egg. But I really like their preparation. Portions are generous but shy of gluttony. There is a large television prominently on display. Not my preference but it isn't a deal breaker for me. The kitchen is within view and there is a counter where some patrons opt to eat. The aesthetics may not be fabulous but the service is prompt and courteous. Likewise, the bathroom is rather small but utilitarian. Overall, I'm glad to see a restaurant in my old neighborhood where I can sit down for a fine breakfast and keep my dollars within the community. read more

I didn't actually dine here but ordered for delivery via yelp for breakfast a Saturday morning. Food was okay. I did try some of the Latin dishes and I enjoyed it. The portions for the price definitely worth the try. It definitely gives homecook meal vibes. My husband really enjoyed their omelette. I thought the grits could have been a little more flavorful. But again the food basically tastes and feels like going to a family's or friend's home and having breakfast there. Not a bad thing, just if that's what you are feeling for perfect. I felt like it's a breakfast/diner spot in a neighborhood when I first went in. Got variety on the menu, classic egg breakfast, omelette, sandwiches, to Spanish breakfast. I got the French Toast with ham, bacon, and 2 eggs ( Victor's French toast with substitution of sausage), my friend had Victor's Waffle deluxe. The server was good, she checked in with us 3 times. Though it took about 15 minutes to get our food, I just enjoyed my coffee while waiting ($1.50 refillable). I liked my French toast, crunchy outside and soft inside with butter and plenty syrup, yummy! The price ($11.25) is decent for the portion. I was full! My wife and I came here for breakfast one day and the appearance of the place makes you skeptical but the food definitely makes up for that. The pancakes were light and fluffy and enjoyable to eat and the French toast is something to order We are currently here with our kids again for another enjoyable experience and I'm positive the food will not disappoint. read more

Excellent! Yes - "Hole in the wall!" - Believe the reviews! Visiting this place is like take a "Step Back In Time" - Very old school Diner with a Friendly Central American Vibe. Very diverse crowd of those who are "Dining" - but everyone is "United" by their desire to have some great food. Breakfast was great and made truly to order. Everyone in the restaurant is laid back. I felt as if I was inside an oasis from the madness of outside. I will definitely be returning. What a secret, I'm reluctant to post this review because all you hipsters out there will start flocking to this place. Menu selection is spectacular. Food is extremely fresh and well prepared. Great little spot for a bite in the hood. My kiddos eat here more than I do but that's not because of any fault to this place. It's just I forget it's here. It's small, they have a few booths and counter seating though I don't see many eating at the counter. They offer a variety of things form breakfast to empanadas (the PR kind) which I tend to enjoy once in a while. I recently stopped in for a Togo order of a bacon egg and cheese, a side of home fries and an empanada on the side. The sandwich wasn't stuffed, in fact it was pretty empty. It tasted great though and with potatoes and empanada it was filling and hit the spot. They are quick, have good prices and they're friendly and that makes a difference in a not so friendly city. read more

I came here once and it will remain only once. When I arrived I don't think the waitress fully understood my order because she said she didn't have Chocolate Milk or Whole Milk but was able to give me milk with the coffee that I ordered. The second biggest issue that I had was that I ordered my food as to stay but the cook wrapped it to go. I will give the waitress credit though as she did unwrap it herself and made it a dine in order. read more

Stopped in for a quiet breakfast and I have no regrets. The service was exceptional & the atmosphere was cozy. I ordered a salami omelette with mozzarella cheese & grits. Everything was prepared just right. I noticed that they served Papusas so I took 2 to go. They were delicious! I'll be back to try the tamales for sure. Nice spot!!! read more

Good local spot have been coming here for years. If you want a super fast decent meal for little to nothing then come here. That have a good variety of things. Really clean and staff nice. They have regulars and are open extremely early which is what I love so I can beat the crowd. read more

So cheap with great portion sizes at roughly $8 for an omelette plate with home fries, two slices of toast, and a cup of orange juice or coffee. They were kind enough to let me order from the breakfast menu (which runs from 6AM - 12PM), despite it being 3PM. Only the drink wasn't included because it was past breakfast hours, which is completely fair. I ordered the Alpine omelette, a hearty and delicious blend of bacon and veggies. The ambience definitely has a homely, community vibe. On Saturday at 3PM, there was just one waiter and one cook. It seems that a lot of locals are regulars that come here to watch the game and they all know each other by name. Highly recommended if you're looking for a fulfilling, cheap diner breakfast. read more

Bern here once and I'll definitely be back ! I had a Belgian waffle and my boyfriend got a western omelet with two chicken empanadas. It was so goood the waffle was so soft and fluffy and the portion sizes are great. The only fault is I'm a coffee person and the coffee here is a little weak but nothing I can't look past ! read more

Victors, though over priced really good. They always have a fresh quality to their food. I always get their breakfast items. They have the best Belgian waffles in the area. Everything else is great (Sausages, Pancakes, Eggs, Grits, Homefres etc.) but I have never ordered lunch from here but my husband has. He says their Philly Cheesesteak is excellent. The only downfall is that Victors Coffee Shop closes early. No great food after 5/6 p.m. read more

This coffee shop is a tiny little corner find. I've been living in this neighborhood for the past 3 years, but finally decided to walk in with my book one Sunday morning... little did I know... it soon became my favorite diner that happens to be only a couple blocks away from my house with such a nice walk to and from! It doesn't look like much. but they are so generous with the amount of food that's served on your plate. They are clean, they're dedicated, and affordable. Food is good, I suaully go for simple eggs, bacon, toast, coffee. Wonderful coffee. Very cute little traditional diner! They do close early at 6PM most to all nights. This place is really a hole in the wall. You'll never think about stepping inside if you don't go. This place has been around for years. I used to come here all the time with my dad for breakfast and I remember the portions being huge that I couldn't finish it. The food was always really good for a local diner. They have delivery if you lived close enough which is a plus. It's clean in there which is great because I hate a dirty food place. I just wish they had soy milk for those who can't have regular milk. read more

I have been hungry since 9 am and was looking for someolace to eat breakfast, everything was closed and this place is the only place that was open. Decided to give a chance and went in. The service was great. I ordered food and it was delicious. The food is perfectly cooked and seasoned. An amazing place for breakfast, lunch and dinner. The price is also very low. To the server's credit, she acknowledged the issue and offered to have it corrected without hesitation. The more concerning issue involved my friend, who politely requested plastic utensils. She was told they were only available for takeout orders. Due to a medical condition, she does not use reusable utensils in restaurants. We have never encountered this issue at any other restaurant. As a result, we were unable to comfortably dine in. When I spoke with the manager, I explained that refusing a reasonable accommodation was inappropriate. His response was, "You never told me that," referring to my friend's medical condition. To be clear, customers should not be expected to disclose or justify their private medical information in order to receive a simple accommodation. We ultimately packed up our food and left because no effort was made to resolve the situation. Additionally, I had placed a separate takeout order before all of this occurred, but it was never entered into the system. When the check arrived, I was confused as to why the order was missing. To make matters worse, I was informed that I could not order an item from the children's menu as a takeout meal for my daughter. This policy was surprising, as I have never experienced such a restriction at any other restaurant. Overall, this was a very disappointing visit. While I appreciate that the server was willing to correct my meal, the lack of reasonable accommodation, poor communication, and multiple service issues left us with a negative experience. I hope management takes these concerns seriously and reevaluates both their policies and their approach to customer service.

I found out that they have a parking lot with valet parking. I don't know if the valet parking is mandatory or you can park your own car. We received exceptional service today. The greeting was warm, our waiter was patient and friendly and Fernando, (the person that brings you water, tea, or coffee when you are seated), was exceptional. He created a relaxing environment all around. He was the first to meet us at the table and the last. Fernando is a peoples person and an asset to this diner. He's an influencer, when I come back, it will be because of the interaction with Fernando! I had the heart healthy wrap with I found to be flavorless. Not enjoyable at all but I'm not a connoisseur of eating heart healthy omelettes or wraps. I also had the homefries which was supposed to have onions. I didn't see any nor did I taste any but it was delicious. It was crispy and very delicious. I also had the turkey sausage. Now I am a connoisseur of turkey sausages. These sausage were very fresh and I have yet to taste any turkey sausages like these. Hands down uncomfortable. So I can add this diner to collection of preferred diners.
