Here's the issue I'm having. I purchased a 2012 mini cooper, and I am paying well over $20,000 which actually is over full price when this car was new. That's not the problem though. After one day of having my car, I noticed it driving very rough and shaky on the freeway. Brakes were grinding a little and the wheels would shake quite a bit while driving over 50mph. We brought this up the next day, my husband and I. The manager said we can bring it in so they can look at it. Great, ok. So three days later, my check engine light goes on. Wonderful! My husband takes it to deq, then heads straight to stop and go and shows them that the car failed! they tell us we'd have to wait a week for them to "look at it" . I wanted a rental car, I did not feel comfortable driving to and from work if the car had the possibility of over heating. They told my husband they didn't have any rental cars available. Well what the fuck? You expect me to continue paying a 400 dollar payment for a car I don't feel comfortable driving? No, that's insane. If I wanted to buy a piece of shit, I would have bought a piece of shit. So, a week later, my husband takes the car back it. They look at it. He takes the manager for a test drive to show him how rough the wheels shake on the freeway. Of course the manager says, "I don't feel anything " umm dude, it feels like my tires are going to fall off. And to top it off, we have to wait another week for them to just address the check engine light! Not even the tires or shit. First they say they have no available rental cars, then they tell my husband that they're insurance won't let them rent out cars. Now I'm going to have to pay my 400 dollar a month payment on top of a rental car for the next week or however long it takes for them to get their heads out of their asses and fix my car! The worst experience of my life. I bought a car there which was great until it had a water leak. They took my car for a week and gave me a piece of crap loaner. It broke down! I got another piece of crap loaner and later called to find out about my car. I heard that it was the door leaking, later it was at a specialist shop, and lastly I got pissed and went in in person and said give me my car now! I got my car and they had ripped the temporary plate out of the window. The car still leaked! I ordered the parts and it takes about 30-45 minutes to fix, not a week. They used the old address from my drivers license so I didn't get any paperwork from the loan company and had to call them instead. Do not get a car here. Sometimes their shenanigans may work out okay, but if things happen like they did with me you'll be extremely sorry. When they answer the phone nobody knows anything about anything. They suck! After a long day of car shopping and meeting a lot of nice dealers, I saw another car I wanted to see on-line. I saw it was open till 7 and on the way home. I called them and the guy refused to give me the address until I told him my name and what car I was interested in looking at. When we pulled up the guy came out and stood by the car. I was on the phone and finished my call and got out. Before I got out the guy kinda huffed and walked back inside. When I got to the door he greeted me and asked if I was Suzanne, I said yes, I came to look at the red 350 Z. He motioned for us to come in and asked me briskly, well how are you going to pay for it, cash or finance. I should have said in pennies ! But I was taken aback at the weird question and said, well I'd like to see it before discussing how I'm paying for it. He said, ' why should I bother showing you the car only for you to fall in love with it before finding out how you'll pay for it. Ok, I'd been car shopping all day, but I don't think I looked like I was a homeless gal. I said why should I tell you anything without first seeing the car. He kinda shrugged like he didn't care. Then I said , well I won't be paying for anything here and left. He went back in and seemed to share the joke with a guy in the office. Very unprofessional and rude treatment. I think it was Derrick & Jason on duty . I would not recommend this place to anyone. They have no idea how to treat customers. I called to make an appointment but when I came there the person I had been talking to was busy - I was pawned off a gentleman who appeared to be on uppers - fast talking - taking personal calls during our test drive - generally steamrolling over anything I said with the sort of overly positive bullshit I'd expect form a turn-and-burn dealership like this. I was lied to repeatedly - told the car was going to auction so it was now or never even though it sat on their lot for weeks after my visit - told the car would not pass DEQ due to a minor '$300-400 fix' which another shop told me could easily be $4k (if it was that cheap why wouldn't you just fix it?) - but then there was no check engine light on which means they deliberately cleared the code. When I made offers that reflected the in-need-of-repair condition I received no replies - I basically had to hound them for information until they finally just told me it was auctioned off. Overall I'm glad I didn't buy here but it was a waste of my time and energy, if you really knew what you were doing and had a pre-purchase inspection done you could probably get a good deal but with so many options in the Portland area I'd say avoid this place. read more

HORRIBLE!!!!! You literally should STOP and GO!!!!!! I recently bought a nissan titan from here and right from the get go I noticed it had a problem (exhaust leak) so I brought it to there attention and they said they'll promise a deal if I buy the truck they'll fix it so after everything was all said and done they tell me "we'll call you later to set up a good time for you" a week went by and no call so I call them then they give me the go around saying "ok let me wait for my manager to come in ill call you back" so I wait for there call and no call back, another week went by I call them again and give me another excuse so this went on for 3 months of them giving me the go around saying things like "I don't deal with the mechanic stuff" "you have to make your first payment" just the whole run around. So FINALLY I got my truck in 3 months later on a Monday so drop it off and the next day the mechanic calls me and tells me the problem with the truck and says it'll be 930 so I tell him that the dealership is paying for it because that's what part of the deal was (I had it in writing) so I get off the phone call the dealership back and explained what was going on and they tell me "well it was past the 30 day so if anything can you help out and pay 400 today, I tell them no but he insisted of going on an goes and and try's to get any amount of $ out of me going from 400 to 250 to 200 and I'm thinking this got to be a terrible joke right so I get tired of it and I say ok ill do 150 next month just so they can get my truck done. A week later I pick my truck up and they want me to sign this paper to pay them the 150 (but I refused to sign it).. And to top it off I noticed my check engine light is on so I'm just going to fix it my self and not deal with then again WORST dealership ever!!!! A friend of mine had bought a car here in the past, was in the process of buying a 2nd, and highly recommended Stop and Go. So, I submitted an inquiry on a car online, as well as a credit app thoroughly explaining my situation and what I was able to do. I was called by Justin, a 2 day old employee, who said that he could absolutely help me despite having a trade-in that I was upside down on. When I came in on 1/25, Justin and his boss Ralph then proceeded to pressure my friend by repeatedly asking him if he would be willing to cosign for me. We told them no about 10 times, as that was not what I told them I wanted to do when explaining my situation. When we were about to walk out the door, he magically found "one car that might work." We took it for a drive and said it would work. We filled out the paperwork for the 2 trade-ins I had (a PT cruiser and a Nissan Altima), as well as laying out how the down payment would be payed. They asked me to call my insurance so they could finish it all up. Unfortunately, after all the haggling, it was then 6 pm on Sunday, so they were closed. They said they would finish up the paper work and I could come back the next day to pick up the car after setting up the insurance. On Monday, Justin called me to see what time I would be in. About 20 minutes later, he called to say that his boss Ralph had just told him he sold the car after we left last night. I was pretty miffed and I said that doesn't make sense, as I would have taken the car home last night if my insurance had been open. His response was "Do you know how many people SAY they're going to come back and never do?" I called Titan, a sales manager at their other lot, who told me after looking over everything that the car is just too upside down to trade in without a lot of money down. That's fine, at least he was honest. He's actually the only person I enjoyed talking to and trusted. The Dodge that was supposedly sold is still listed for sale on their website. What a poor way to do business. My friend completed her 2nd car purchase. The reps she's corresponded with via email, Sergio and Jeff, are now trying to take her car back for a "vin inspection" while being very rude without any explanation. They've actually threatened to tow it, which is going to be fun when the cops arrest them for theft of a fully sold car. This place is shifty as all get out. AVOID. read more

Don't Stop, keep Going. Appalling service and business tactics. This review is a little lengthy and thorough. But please read if you have any intention of visiting this car dealership as it will save you a lot of time, hassle and frustration. I accompanied my partner to look at a vehicle that she had made an appointment to view on 11/8/16. First thing they had us do before we even looked at the car was fill out all the application documents for running a credit check (address, employment, identification, etc.) as well as our currently financed vehicle information for potential trade in. We asked several times during this process to see the car to determine if we were even interested in purchasing it before we went through all the application process. They merely replied that it was standard dealership protocol to have the potential purchaser fill out the forms beforehand. This is simply not true. We specifically requested that they not run a credit check until we determined that we were interested in the car which they reassured us they wouldn't. After all the forms were completed the initial agent wondered off and we were approached by a second to gather more information (the same information that we had already provided on the application forms). He also then wondered off and we were approached by yet another agent (the third within 45 minutes). He then proceeded to ask the same questions as the first two sales agents and immediately initiated the trade in value and monthly payment negotiations. Almost an hour later and three separate agents later asking us what kind of financing arrangements we wanted to make, we still had not even seen the car we came to see! Every time we asked to see it (easily a half dozen times) the reps just said, "Yeah no problem. We'll pull it around." and then wandered off never actually retrieving the car. We then sat for another 15 minutes with no sign of any of the three salesmen/managers that we corresponded with. Now an hour and 15 minutes later with no sign of any of the sales reps and STILL not having seen the car we came to look at, we decided it was time to go. We walked around until we found one of the agents and explained that we were leaving and the reasons why. We asked if we could have the application forms back or observe them being destroyed as they had personal identification information on them (i.e. social security number, address and drivers license info). He said that he could make us copies and that they have a shredder that they use in the back for the originals. Stating that he could make us copies made no sense as we requested the originals be returned or observably destroyed. Come to discover that they had already run the credit background check which we had specifically told them not to do until we saw the car we came to see and to determine if we were even interested. We left immediately at this point with no further correspondence. Summery: An hour and 15 minutes... We were never shown the car we came to see even with an appointment. An unauthorized credit check was run without us being informed (we had to ask). We were left several times by all the agents we spoke with which we then had seek out to have any questions answered. And they refused to return our application documents to us or destroy them as requested. Save yourself the headache - do not visit this dealership. Would leave zero stars if we could. To the reps of this dealership: If you read this, you need to change your business strategy substantially. The tactics and methods used when we came were dishonest and unacceptable. read more

This is hands down the worst dealership! I spent a lot of money on a truck and was promised up and down that it was reliable, they checked it out and everything was great. Well here I am the second payment isn't even due yet and the engine is shot. My mechanic let me know someone had done poor repairs to it that resulted in damage. The sales person told me they worked on it and it was fine. I didn't even get to put 1000 miles on the thing. Now I'll be paying off a chunk of scrap metal for the next 5 years. When I called the dealership for help they said tough luck and tried to sell me another car! Best dealership out there. I couldnt be happier with the level of service I received. When I first came to stop and go, I had already been to several other dealerships, new and used. I knew what I wanted: to trade in my car and get something I really wanted. However there was an issue, and that was I owed double what my car was worth. DOUBLE!!!!! So several of the dealerships I went to previously told me they couldnt help me. The new car dealerships would only show me new, base model vehicles. Even after I told them I didnt want a new vehicle, let alone some base model economy piece of crap. I can tell you I went to the *BIG NAME* dealerships around town and got nothing but lies, deceit, insulted, and basically treated like I didnt know anything about buying a car. Then I came to stop and go. I was greeted promptly by a friendly salesman, and I immediately layed out my situation to see if he could help. He told me that they could and we proceeded on from there. We drove a few cars, and I found one I loved. To make a long story short, I bought it and never once felt pressured about doing so. I payed slightly over blue book value, however this was to be expected as they were paying off my loan on my trade in (the one I owed double the value on!) All in all I love my new car, they treated me with respect, and I got everything for a fair price. I know how hard they worked at getting me the best rate possible on my loan, as I could see how many credit unions had checked my credit. I couldnt recommend this place more, but thats only half the story!!!! I bought my car earlier this year, in March or so. I recently went back and had another experience with Stop and Go Auto. You see, my credit improved substantially since buying my car and I wanted to refinance it to get a better rate. I even had offers in the mail from various lenders telling me I had been pre-approved for new financing on my car. I was excited to get a new rate and lower my payment. So my first stop was at my own credit union. They checked my credit and told me I could indeed get my car refinanced, but had to pay around $4000 to get my car to blue book value. I knew I owed more on the car then it was worth because I added a 4 year service contract when I bought it, as I usually do with a used vehicle purchase. I explained this to the loan officer at my credit union, but she wouldnt hear it. It was simple: pay down the loan by several thousands of dollars or the REFI was a no-go. So then I decided to check in with all those pre-approved offers I got in the mail. I tried for 2 of them, and both of them said no. I was frantic. I mean, due to the service contract I was upside down in the loan from the very beginning. Why would a credit union finance an initial purchase like this, but not refinance it? But I digress. So I decided to come see the team at Stop and Go once again. Not only did they find me a credit union that would do the REFI, my interest rate was cut in half, my payment went down $100, I got $200 cash back from the lender after the papers were signed, I get to skip 2 months of car payments, and the team at Stop and Go sent me directly to the lender foregoing any additional commission on their end. Thank you stop and go!!!!!! I will be coming to you when I decide to purchase a second car, as I will NEVER get rid of my Subaru because I ABSOLUTELY LOVE IT!!!!!!! THANK YOU!!!!!!!! read more

I financed for a car here and the place sold me a car that started having issues the next week we've purchased it. When we told them about it, all they were focused on was selling us another vehicle for a higher value. When we declined the purchase, the representative got mad at us when he couldn't make another sale...it was frustrating. We paid extra for warranty as well but all the warranty covered was minor issues. So we paid for a messed up vehicle plus a warranty that didn't cover any of the problems we had with the car. We had to paid for the extra maintenance plus play out of pocket for it...it was $600 for the repair we had to make. Never come here. I definitely won't again... read more

Should be called "Don't Stop and Just Keep Going Auto". I called about a 2005 Tundra with 175K miles. Said they couldn't give me the price over the phone. I had to go to their lot. I said I wasn't going to drive in for a mystery price. They said they'd call me back in 15 minutes with a price. They did. Price: $15,995.00. I laughed not only at the price, but because I was told "it is the most we can sell it for, because to ask for more would be against the law". I said, so if I offered you $20K you couldn't take it? Silence. I asked for a 'real' price...something to give me an incentive to come in and see the truck. Said they'd call me back in five minutes. Never did. With so many auto dealers in town, there's no reason to stop here. Just keep going. read more

So I went here about a year ago after being referred here by a lot up the road to look for a car. I was not looking for any particular model. The first thing they wanted to do was run a credit application on me even though I didn't say I was going to for sure buy anything but I went with it figuring it would speed up up the process in case I did find something. After looking I found a 1999 Honda Civic with over 130k miles on it. I took it for a test drive and decided I wanted it. They were asking about $7995 for it. I knew it was too high of a price and so I looked it up on Kelly Blue Book and the suggested price was $4600 for it. When we went to talk a price I told them I was not paying over blue book price because I never do. They dropped dropped the price to around $5500 if I remember correctly and told me that KBB price is just a suggestion and they don't have to go that low, which is true but I could have gone somewhere else and bought it for the KBB price because most lots will go off of of that if you bring it up. I them to let let me think about it and at first they didn't want me to leave but I was persistent and they let me go outside. After a little bit I told them I was not going to pay more than $4700 and they agreed. They sold me a used car warranty without even asking me if I wanted it but I was ok once they told me that they wanted to give it to me because it could come in handy. They set me up with financing through Reliable Credit which is one of of the worst companies ever. Less than a year later the Honda breaks down and the warranty that I paid for won't cover it because it was wear and tear! While I was in there another customer came in and started complaining about their experience. That should have raised a red flag for me to leave! read more

The sales person would never give me a outright asking price for any of their cars, the finance person I dealt with was condescending, rude and not straight forward about anything. Even after I told him I want a car with low miles and in decent shape he tried to sell me cars with over 180K miles on them. He told me to just buy a car to get from point a to point b and in 6-8 months I could come back a purchase another car with lower miles. After I told him I felt he wasn't listening and was being a bit rude he became mad, told me he was trying to help me out and eventually slammed a door in my face. Sadly I purchased an SUV from them in May 2014. It was clean, seemed to run fine, & a good price. The whole process happened so quickly. The driver side window did not work. They said they would fix it but, since I had no other transportation so they could have my car for the day, I fixed it myself. My brake & ABS warning lights keep coming on, the windshield leaks when it rains, there is another leak along the drivers door that is leaking water into my fuse box which has messed up the alarm and the door relay fuse caught fire on Jan 2nd, and I am topping off the coolant every 2 weeks. I'm just waiting for my head gasket to blow. They said they would "throw in a warranty", which they did at my expense. I understand buying a used car will have issues however, these cars need to be gone through before selling them to the public; they need to be safe & reliable. This company needs to start caring more for a persons safety instead of that all mighty dollar. I will never do business w/ this company again. I would certainly appreciate it if they would pay for my car to be fixed seeing how they did not disclose to me any of it's issues and false advertising when they say they sell "safe and reliable" cars. I noticed that none of those 3 cars were the 3 that Armando & I spoke about which were a Vibe, Rav4 & a Murano..so I asked about them & he said the Vibe was sold, the Rav & the Murano were 5-6k over my price range, the list he had contained an Element & 2 4-runners that were right at my budget, the Element just had too many miles (180k) & neither one of the 4-runners had a sunroof, I did see an 07 Suzuki & an 04 Murano & on our way back to their office I noticed a Vibe behind a few cars.. so & went & looked at it & it was the one I wanted.. He told me that the Suzuki was 13k & the Murano was 14k.. he said their asking price for the Vibe was 11,995 which I actually laughed out loud because I was already informed by Armando & confirmed it online that it was advertised for 7,488 so I looked online & found alot of Vibes for between 6k & 7k, so I offered him 6k cash, he said he would ask the decision maker & he came back with a bunch of sharpie marks all over the paper & 10,500 circled & a sot for me to sign, I laughed again & said 6,500 would be my counter & his decision maker came out & started feeding me the line that he flew to California to buy this car for 6,800 & had to put 2.450 into it for some reason that he would not elaborate on & then said they were willing to lose money & sacrifice it to me as a favor for 9 grand.. WOW.. for meee? #1 dipstick.. no-one would EVER willingly lose money, #2 idiot.. it is advertised on your website for 7,488. STOP LYING LOSER!! Also the Rav was on the website for 10,488 & so was the Murano, I would have given you 9 grand cash for the either one of those & then paid you the difference in 2 weeks. So I saw a 2001 jeep wrangler on Craigslist on 4/9/2015 so I called and talked to Justin and explained my situation i.e. repo bad credit and not being able to put much down so he took all my info over the phone and said he would call me back (I live 30 mins away). 10 mins later Justin called back and said all is good I was approved for the jeep with very little down. Cool right? So I called down there today 4/16/2015 to verify everything was still good and it was I they told me to go ahead and get a ride down so I could drive it home so I grabbed my 9yr old and got dropped off. 15 mins after getting dropped off I was told by so old dude that they were not going to sell me the jeep, I said ok that's fine what other 4x4 with back seat do you have? His response was sorry but the only thing I can sell you is a 1992 Chevy impala. I said no that's not what we discussed. His response was well you get what we offer you or you get nothing. I bought a acura mdx a couple of months ago, I like the car but when I asked for the carfax report they just told me you don't want that. Ummm yeah I did but of course I didn't get it.. I have referred people who have referred lots of people and yet to see a referral check. I am sad to see that my friends that bought a car are already having issues really makes me embarrassed that I referred them to go there. Only positive thing was that will went out of his way to help us when we were there but I still wanted that carfax report but after being there for 4 hours I just wanted to leave. We booked an appointment to come look at the van for saturday and came all the way from Seattle, only to find out the van was sold on thursday. They called us saturday morning to see if we still on schedule even tho the van is sold!! Miles, fuel and our time where given to them and we get nothing in return! The car seemed okay until the check engine light wants to frequently flash on and off!!! And then these guys really don't want to fix the problem and deny that there is anything wrong with the car! The first time I went in after 5 days of purchasing the car I had talked with Clifford I think his name was but he said he was busy with another customer.he said That he would call me back when he got a chance. Never received a call. 2nd time I went I talked to another male. Not sure what his name was but he told me he couldn't do anything because he's not a mechanic an he would talk to the stop and go team and get back to me. Never received a call. 3rd time I went, i talked to the blonde male that got me approved for the loan and did all the paper work for my car. This time I had him come out to my car and tell me if what was happening was normal. Soon as he saw what was wrong he asked me what I did to the car. I replied and said I didn't do anything. I barely bought the car from you guys less then 2 weeks ago. It shouldn't be breaking down already. He agreed and even wrote down my number on his cigarettes and told me he was going to call a mechanic and call me back that day. Never received a call once again. At this point I was frustrated by them telling me they were calling me back and never did. I just gave up after the 3rd time. The part for the car is around 1500$. With 5 hours labor to put it in.. So these guys must be extremely desperate. I just had one of there sales people call me in response to me selling a vehicle on Craigslist trying to get me to trade it in. Now when I said I've been there and done that and I'm not really interested his tone changed. I also said I thought it made them look desperate doing that and he tried telling me they do that all the time and got a attitude. I've worked for car dealerships and have never heard of that. I am really disappointed. My husband and I, we bought a 2006 Honda Pilot on July 12. Since then we only have driven the car about twice. Had problem passing DEQ I had to go back to them pretty much every week since we gotten it and was promise they will fix it. It has been almost a month and we still don't have our car. I felt I was lied to and was giving the run around when I called and ask about the process of my Pilot. I had been really patience with them. Since I had gotten the car it die on us. due to bad battery they told me they put in new battery, but when I took the battery to Auto Zone to check it out I was told the battery was "NO GOOD". We ended up having to replace the battery ourselves, then the check engine light came on. Oh and I can't forgot that when I brought the car home my driver side mirror fell off. Then I was given a loaner car to use while they are fixing my car and that car died on me while I was driving to work twice on the same day.!! I have so much more to say about this place, but I am giving them the benefit of doubt since they replace my loaner car with a better one and is so call doing whatever they can to fix our car. My overall experience could have been a better one. The one good thing I have to say is that my salesman was a really friendly guy. read more

I have been calling and talking to car dealers for the last 2 weeks and my experience with them is they were very helpful and polite. Not so here... Stop and Go Auto-beware and be ready to be dealt with in a very unprofessional way. After a few days of trying to get even a price form them was difficult. I was passed around to what sounded like all younger salesman who were very impatient and offering no real facts. They made me feel like I was a bother and treated me with an irritated tone. It is obvious they judged me in some way because I was inquiring from out of town. I wondered if the car was really there or a ruse to get people in to sell them something else as that is the main push it seemed. Ultimately I received a call back from a very disgruntled employee who immediately seemed irritated with me and informed me the car was taken by an employee just at closing the evening before. A few hours after I received an e-mail to come look at it. Even still he refused to even let me know what the original price was had been. I did not deserve to be treated this way and be jerked around so. If they had zero star rating, I would of gave that. read more

I must say I was very Unhappy at first with how the customer service was being handled. I feel as though after being more stern about my needs and concerns Josh stepped up and started helping me a lot more then in the beginning. He ended up going above and beyond when he found out that it had been a month and I still didn't have my vehicle back nor did I know when I was going to have it back so Josh contacted the Jeep dealership to find out what was going on then got back to me in a timely manner and let me know when to expect it. I do feel bad because I filed a BBB Complaint before actions finally were being taken serious and his name was mentioned do to a comment that he had made. He has apologized and i feel he sincerely meant it. Thank you Josh, Sergio, Casey, And anyone else I have missed that has/had been helping make this whole situation right. This dealership is a JOKE! My husband and I purchased a 2002 Jeep Grand Cherokee from this lot. Although the car runs and drives great my husband was doing some research and noticed that this vehicle had been re-called in February 2011 for the air bags going off while driving. We contacted Jeep immediately and standing behind their vehicles told us to bring it in right away to be fixed and it shouldn't really be driven until this MAJOR RECALL was fixed. Imagine the frustration of buying a vehicle and putting down $ 2000 down of your own money just to find out that you can't drive it. This was on top of them taking over 3 weeks to get us our plates and constantly given the run around. When I phoned Sergio at Stop and Go Auto and asked him why he claims in writing on this website that he sells safe vehicles at a good cost. Obviously the vehicle that we were sold had major recalls. I asked him if they look at the recalls before putting these vehicles on the lot to sell and he told me they do their own inspection and recalls are not his problem. After speaking with Jeep they filed their own paperwork to let customers know not to buy from this dealership because they are selling unsafe cars. When I asked Sergio how he slept at night knowing that he is selling unsafe cars to families his response was once again not my problem and I sleep great at night, What a total DOUCHE BAG! We will be filing with the better business bureau so they too are aware of the unsafe practices of this dealership and not having any care in the world if someone were to be seriously injured in one of their "safe" vehicles that they are selling to the public. They also tried to way overcharge for the vehicle that we purchased but luckily we had been pre-approved by our bank and they wouldn't let us purchase the vehicle for their original price because it was listed $3000 over Kelley Blue Book. Zero stars. I had called about a car and had spoken with Richard several times before driving all the way up to Portland, and we worked out a fair price for the car I wanted but I wanted to see what they would give me for a trade in value for my SUV. I gave my SUV info to Richard, who said he would have numbers ready for me when I go there. I arrived, and the staff told me Richard was busy. The man who helped me refused to even look for the information Richard got, but instead insisted on started all over again getting information about my SUV and trying to get numbers. He asked me to move my car closer to the building and pointed out a parking spot for me. While he was doing that I went to look at the car I wanted. The car I wanted to buy had 4 different tires on it, smelled like urine, and hadn't been cleaned out (very dirty, there was a child's stroller in the back, and toys and change scattered throughout. Obviously, they hadn't even looked at the car or bothered to vacuum it). I did my research before I went and knew what SUVs like mine were selling for (avg. price in Portland was $15,500) and what the KBB value was ($11,200 on the low end and my vehicle is in excellent condition and spotless). I also got pre-approved through my bank with a really great interest rate and didn't need their financing but the guy who was helping me wasn't happy about that. He even made snide remarks to me when I didn't want to reveal how much I owed on my car before I had seen their numbers yet. When the guy finally came out of the back room (which includes a one way window so they can lookout on you but you can't see in....creepers) he said the best he could do for my SUV was....$7500. I laughed and got up to walk away and told him that that number was ridiculous, and he did he best to get me to sit while he "went in the back to do better work for me." He even told me, "calm down and just sit down" like I was a 3 year old. I asked several times to speak to Richard, who I had been working with but he refused to get him because he was "busy with customers." (I called prior to driving up and Richard knew I was on my way). I waited around for several minutes but got tired of the game and my son was getting antsy (he's 5) and decided to get up to leave. This is my favorite part of the story... I walked out to get into my car only to find that somehow a giant black SUV had magically appeared behind my vehicle, blocking me in. I was trapped with a car parked on my right and their garage/detail area to my left with no access to the street and their vehicle behind me. My boyfriend offered to get out and tell them to move it but I told him to stay and I did a stupid 60 point turn to finally get out the parking lot. Exceptionally unprofessional. Form their creepy office, their unprofessional staff (a toothless guy with a beer gut and nicotine stained moustache to insult you that probably couldn't guess that I have excellent credit and that I drive large vehicles for a living and can get out of a parking lot despite being blocked in) and their gross creepy office, to their tactics just to bait you into getting to their lot, STAY AWAY! What I also find interesting is that the reviews of this dealership on CarGurus and YELP all coincide with mine, but the ones on Google are almost all positive. I'll be leaving my review on those sites as well. If you are thinking of buying a car from them, do research on prices so they can't screw you over but also look elsewhere for reviews of this place.
