Very upfront and gave a more than fair price for buying our car. It was above the blue book offer as well.

Unfortunately, I…read morewasn't able to get a car on my visit, but, my experience at Seaport was interesting to say the least. I actually went through Credit Acceptance (I've heard some terrible things but I knew what to expect) to see if there even was a glimmer of getting a car loan with my damaged credit. My information got sent to three different dealerships and only two seemed to contact me. Seaport and Gresham Toyota. Still working with Toyota, although I doubt I'll have good news. Anyways, the guy I ended up working with was pretty laid back and was kind enough to listen to my needs and provide some feedback on what I wanted. Fair. But when it came to my credit, I was told I needed some additional proof of income and a down payment. I accept that. So I'll probably be back unless something else comes up. The slightly disappointing thing about the whole experience was that I was told that there was no catch and was also told that there was an approval. I knew it wasn't actually technically true considering they had yet to run my credit. But at least I was able to confirm that I'd have to work a little more before I could get approved. Just felt like I could have saved a little time and gas though.

This is the last place I would suggest anybody buy a car. You go to a dealership, hoping they won't take advantage of you and get you in a reliable car, but at the end of the day it's just about commission. I worked with a gentlemen name, Michael Song. Just a heads up. Do not buy a car from these people.

I brought my vehicle in for recall-related work involving the catalytic converter and related systems. Before bringing it in, my vehicle was not throwing codes and was safe for me to drive. After the recall work, there were unexpected issues involving sensors and possibly a larger system concern. Naturally, as someone who still owes money on the vehicle, maintains it regularly, and drives with children in the car, my biggest concern has been safety and making sure my vehicle is truly okay before I leave with it. The Service Manager has gone above and beyond in how he has handled the situation. He took the time to look into technical forums connected to this specific recall, escalated the issue, communicated with Jeep, and continued trying to figure out what was happening rather than simply sending me on my way. He also made sure I was placed in a very nice loaner vehicle while my car is being worked on, which has helped tremendously. While the issue is still being sorted out and I am still waiting to get my vehicle back, I genuinely appreciate the customer service, care, and humanness I have experienced. He has made it clear that making sure my vehicle is safe is important to him too, and that means a lot. This kind of customer service feels rare these days. Even though the circumstances have been stressful, I feel like my concerns have been heard and taken seriously. I appreciate the effort, communication, and willingness to keep working toward a solution.

She got excited. We looked up some on carguru and Platt came up in our search. Their place was few miles down the road so we went down thinking we'd be turned away. Peter was more than happy to accommodate. He let us test drive a couple different models including a Bolt. It really opened our eyes to these vehicles. He talked with us after the test drives and was happy to answer questions, give advice and info on all types of EV's (this was after close mind you). We weren't quite ready to purchase a car yet so we left. Peter's non-pushy attitude and kindness stuck with us. About two months later we decided to pull the trigger. I couldn't think of any other place to look for an EV. We had a list of options we wanted and Peter accommodated us and pulled a bunch of cars from their list. We test drove a couple AWD Nissan Aryia Engage+ e-4orce and really liked them. We went ahead and purchased one. It was a lease return with 15k miles. The EV was in great condition and the price was right. They were generous with our trade in and all the paperwork was very swift. I think we were out of there in under 2 hours. We highly recommend Platt Auto if interested in an used EV. You wont be sorry. They have a lot of different models to choose from.

There were some minor issues I noticed during the test drive, like the windows not working properly, the driver side power mirror not working and it appeared to have been knocked off and reattached at some point, but other than that, the car seemed pretty solid to me. I took it out on a test drive and it seemed to run just fine. All the lights, signals and breaks seemed to be working properly. The body of the vehicle was in good condition and wasn't rusted or anything. So being the naive new driver that I am, I bought it, with the intentions of fixing it up to a pristine condition with all the money I saved not buying a more expensive vehicle elsewhere. When I took the car home, I learned that I adopted a family of hornets nested in the driver side mirror, as they started to fly around my face. I sprayed them away, big surprise, not a big problem. The next morning, I went out to run errands, transfer the title, and register the vehicle at the DMV, during which the "Check Brake System" light came on, which was another fun surprise. I just took it into Bridgetown Automotive this morning to get it inspected and have all the proper maintenance done and I learned that I had a much longer list of concealed problems. The estimated repair costs were upwards of $3000 minimum for parts and labor. Needless to say, as a new driver and first time car owner, I'm not happy with this experience. Tread with caution when car shopping here.
