    Sauce and broken glass.
    Bruce F.

Our PeaPod driver dropped and broke a glass jar of sauce in our condo atrium. He acknowledged that the bag it was in was too flimsy. Not only was there sauce sprayed all over, but broken glass. The day after, I spoke to the store manager (Kim?) who said she would follow up. 2 days later, no response and no action for having someone clean it up. I suspect they will still owe us for that jar of sauce as well.

The customer service department here leaves a lot to be desired. Lose the cell phones and acknowledge customers as they approach the desk. No one has been properly trained in this department. Does the manager of this area have any experience in customer service?

I would've given a five star because the seafood dept is always so kind and efficient however the meat department is awful.

Both name brands and the "Price Rite" brands share the same shelf space throughout the store. Additionally this location has a pretty decent Latin food section, although the Wethersfield and Hartford locations do have a larger section of their stores dedicated to these foods. In a time of ever rising food prices - this store has been a great way to keep my monthly food costs from getting out of control and allow me to save my money for other endeavors (and bills!) I will end this review words of warning though - 1. They do not provide you with shopping bags (a way they keep their costs down), so bring your own reusable bag or be prepared to pay $0.10 per plastic bag 2. Try to avoid this store during the first half of the month if you want to find food on the shelves - it gets very, very crowded.

Sometimes you may come across things that are "toss aways" meaning they were not worthy enough to be put on the likes of a Stop and Shop or ShopRite shelf so they end up here at PriceRite. Things are very easy to find within the store and for all intents and purposes the store is clean... with the exception of the bathroom. Woah! How filthy! Kind of scary considering employee are handling food products after having used it and considering their is a sigh inside the bathroom referencing the cleanliness of the bathroom.

Drove an additional 15 miles to go and visit Stew Leonard's…read more I preface this review by saying I've seen the owner of Stew Leonard's on the morning news in the past. Particularly during the holidays, where he is talking about how to prepare your holiday meals. Second, my friend from New Jersey is probably the Duchess of Stew Leonard's and I had to see what this was all about. Here is my story It's like going to a Trader Joe's if you're on the West Coast, BuCees if you're on Central and southeast part of the country or I don't know I suppose a typical local giant supermarket. Here are my observations. They accommodate the local people they have so many things you can do with your children. If you're shopping in the store, they have mascots and different games you can play. The store is clean and organize organized There are many local products, they support the local community Would I go back? Probably if I lived closer, I would love to buy their vegetables which was very neatly displayed and priced. They were busy! That says something right?

Definitely made it work once I threw the roll away. Service was great! Fast turn over to receive my order. Packaged appealing to the eye. Outside setting with picnic tables to enjoy. They also had other options like Burgers, and Hotdogs. Wonderful way to end my grocery shopping day

There is so much to choose from; hair care, prepped food, snacks, dog food and snacks and they are all organic and naturally made without cruelty or any additives. The woman here (I wish I didn't forget her name cause she was the sweetest and very helpful) gave me holistic suggestions to my inflammatory knee swelling and pain. I have tried everything over the counter, prescription, orthopedic medicine; nothing helps but natural and organic medicine!!! It's time we start using what Mother Nature gave us! I've also come here in the past after some physical agility fighting which left me SORE and didn't want to take a bunch of over the counter meds. Arnica gel and tabs are great! There's everything in this store, organic produce, juices, vitamins and supplements, chocolate and candy I've never seen before, they even have a little section where you can get a fresh smoothie or a sandwich. There's an area where you can sit with your food. They even have a post office in this little grocery store. But it is expensive.. a box of cereal is $7.49, and it's not even a large box. They had a 5 pound jar of local honey for $50.00. I stopped in to pick up some crackers for my guacamole, I picked some really nice ones for only $3.29, but half the bag was air. This is not the fault of the store of course. It's a lot of fun to walk through a store where everything looks new, and innovative. If you're in the area stop by, always shop smart, not impulsively.
