It's the ghetto storage of the desert. I didn't open the door to my unit for two years thinking it was safe and protected, but there was an inch of dust over EVERYTHING. Terrible maintenance, they don't have bottom of doors sealed , the rubber is old and falling apart. read more

I stored here a few years ago and had a very positive experience. I was going to get another unit two days ago but my plans had to change and they were very nice and they refunded the $74 that they had charged me. They are very responsive Caesar is very nice. He lives on the premises with his wife. I had an indoor storage last time and it was always clean and they have three carts and they are very helpful. I recommend them without hesitation read more

I read the great reviews, so I thought our experience would be positive. Man, I LOVE it when I am right. I knew this place was located right where it needed to be. I started by reserving a drive up unit online. I confirmed I would come in a certain day. On that day, I received a follow up call from Mary. Mary just wanted to make sure everything was fine. I told her we would arrive within a couple of hours. When we walked in, she greeted me by name and the signup & payment was painless. The service was free & easy and the unit was clean as expected. SOLID 5 Star Rating. Outstanding in every aspect. Over the years I've used many storage units in several states. Stor-n-lock, and this location in particular, is the best...by far. My wife & I have patronized this location since 2002, almost 10 years. During those 10 years we've rented four different units. The managers, Guy & Trudy have always been exceedingly helpful. Most recently we needed a storage unit at short notice due to a death in the family. Both of them couldn't have been nicer. In a time of chaos & sadness, they both stepped up to the plate and helped us get through a very trying time. Guy even arranged a moving company to help us move as part of the terms of our long term rental. The facility is very clean...it's spotless. We usually rent the climate controlled units and are always amazed at how clean the place is kept. This is the desert, it's dusty and windy. Dust usually gets everywhere. Not here, not even in the hallways or the elevator. Spotless. Oh, and never a bug sighting either. It's actually incredible considering the desert environment. For the security conscious, the facility is alarmed. It has gated entry only passable with your personal security code. Once inside, the grounds are also monitored via security cameras. But technology is only as good as the staff working behind the scenes. Guy (the on-site manager) is a stickler for security and cleanliness. You'll never find any funny business happening here. He simply won't allow it. Add all these factors together and you've got a great storage facility. Highly recommended. Heck, I've returned to rent from them on 4 separate occasions. I would not hesitate to highly recommend Stor-N-Lock Self Storage. Mary and Jerry, Managers, are wonderful people to work with, they are always so friendly, helpful and kind. When I first started vacationing in Palm Springs about 8 years ago, I had looked at many places and was very disappointed with what was available to store my belongings, until I came upon Stor-N-Lock. With my temperature-controlled locker I store lotions, shampoos, spices etc. without worrying about spoilage. The place is always so clean and dust free - not a bug in sight. Being a single female senior, I always feel safe when I visit here no matter what time of day. And I love their carts-on-wheels to transport all my bins between the locker and car. I walked in without any information about the facility, and left feeling like I'd met 2 new freinds ,who just happened to offer to hang on to my "stuff" for me! The buildings and grounds are immaculately kept, and prices are competitive with the big chain storage . M&J were so helpful getting me set up for move in. Don't EVER take anything here! These people are total asshats! I can't even believe that anyone would hire these people to operate a business. The guy working there comes out on a motorized scooter and yells at you no matter how well you try to follow his "rules." It exceeds the ridiculous! He never says hello, let alone please or thank you! I used to keep all of my company inventory here, but moved to a new location in Cathedral City just because Stor-n-Loc is so unpleasant to deal with. I am not sure who owns this, but I have heard this same story from other people who have dealt with this place. Save yourself a lot of heartache and go anywhere else but here! read more

I've needed to use a storage facility three times over the years and Stor N Lock was the best I've used. Always super clean, well lit, staff there during advertised hours, no evidence of pests or leaks, accurate billing, and never had an issue with break in in the unit, unlike another place I used.
