This review is limited to our one experience renting a U-haul truck from this place. We have not used the storage services. We went here on our last trip to Las Vegas (beginning of October) because we needed to rent a uhaul to pick up things from family members to take to our place. We flew to Las Vegas from Santa Rosa and had reserved a truck here for a one-way trip from Las Vegas back to Santa Rosa, CA. We had a very good experience. For whatever reason, the truck they initially provided (in the smaller size which we had ordered) only had two seats in it. We needed three seats because there were three of us and we told them after we found out about the seats. They promptly switched us to a bigger truck, the only kind which they had available which had three seats (we don't know why or what the situation was - both trucks had the same cab and interior, only one was a bigger frame ad box area; it has been over 20 years since we rented a moving van like this). They did not charge us extra but simply switched out the paperwork and gave us the bigger truck for the price of the smaller one. They did it very quickly and in a friendly manner, without hesitation, and without giving us any trouble whatsoever. The truck was also clean and in good shape, and it served us very well on the entire drive of over 600 miles. This was very different from our first u-haul experience in California back in the mid-90s, when the truck was dirty and the engine started smoking and died after 20 miles, before we had even picked up our items. read more

I rented a UHaul truck and dolly from this location and when I got home and opened the back of the truck, there was no Dolly in the back. Now I have no dolly and no way to move my heavy furniture into my truck! When I called back to ask about the dolly, the guy (Steve) was extremely rude, refused to offer me any help or discount, and kept telling me it was not his problem. What a way to run a business and treat customers!! If you don't like your job, do something about it. Employees like this are the kind that secretly suck the revenue right out of your bank account, indirectly through horrible customer service and salty thoughts in their mind! Worst Uhaul to rent from. I rented two 26' trucks paid $2k for the rental on my checking bank card. Few days passed and did a night drop of one of the truck. Next morning they ends up Charging my checking account bank card over $3,300 and $450. When I called they said the new girl made a mistake cause you were supposed to drop off the truck at a different location 3 miles away which was never ever told to us when we rented those two trucks! The right amount to pay was only $450 not $3,317! And dropping off the truck 3 miles away would never been an issue if they would told us! Now it's been 3 business days and still negative $3,317 in my bank account! Manager was supposed to call me back and they never did, unprofessional and this is turning into fraud! I'm going to file a fraud claim with my bank if I don't see my money they stole back in my acct today!! read more

We found this place on Yelp and needed a rental truck for moving. They had plenty of trucks to pick from and they were very helpful in getting us setup. One nice thing is they did not badger us on extras. The offered the moving equipment support, but didn't try to up sell constantly. They clearly explained the rules for rental, and we were on our way in 10 minutes. At the end of the day, we needed the truck for a second day, and with a simple phone call they said no problem. All said and done, two days was less than $100 for a 15' truck with ramp. Awesome. read more

We came to this location to return a box that I purchased that morning from the Lake Mead Summerlin location who would return or even exchange for me. In fact, that store sent me on a wild goose chase to return my $11 box. When we arrived at the Crestdale location, I noticed an immediate difference; it smelled better, the workers were kind, pleasant and so helpful. The gal taking care of me whose name I didn't catch was so pleasant and willing to figure out a compromise that would make both of us happy. Do yourself a favor, use the Crestdale location for your storage and U-Haul needs and avoid the Lake Mead Summerlin. It's hard to believe they are owned by the same people! When I booked the truck online, the blue diamond location had a green "in stock" status as opposed to every other location that said "low stock, you'll get a call from a rep to give you a pickup location". Blue Diamond was right down the street and perfect for me as I was doing a one way rental out of the state and wouldn't have a car with me because supposedly car dollies were sold out for the weekend. I get a call 18 hours prior to pickup saying come to this new location 15 miles away or don't get a truck. The rep claimed to have only watched one episode of Seinfeld and couldn't even appreciate, "You know how to take the reservation, ya just don't know how to HOLD the reservation, and that's really the most important part, anyone can just take 'em." Maurry Meme - "I asked if they could bring the truck to the location I booked and they said only two people work this new location on the weekend. The fact that there were three people at the location the next morning (Sunday) determined that was a lie." 2/3 of the employees didn't wear a mask inside the store mid pandemic but thankfully the genius that helped me, put her mask on when we went outside to the truck... I can't imagine how this country got to be the laughing stock of the world. The alignment on the truck is trash and gave me great confidence driving 300 miles in 30+ mph winds that night. The claimed gas level on the truck upon pickup was a notch higher than reality, I pray I don't need to call to dispute extra charges in the coming days. Overall, pretty disappointed that Uhaul for all intents and purposes have a monopoly on the industry. One star because I actually managed to get a truck and it got me to my destination. read more

Had seen several good reviews for this business so I decided to use them. It's too bad we can't give them six stars! As most everyone has said, these people bend over backwards to do whatever is necessary to make your business with them as positive and fulfilling experience as possible. I rented a small truck and they made sure on several occasions I understood it didn't have a ramp. I also got a car trailer and the man (I'm assuming it is a husband/wife business) made sure I was ready to go when we got the car on the trailer. They did everything with a positive attitude smiling and maintaining a positive attitude about everything. If you have a chance, do use these people. They are great. read more

I picked up my U-Haul auto transport at this mom & pop storage location. The lady in the office got my agreement drawn up quickly, and then the husband came in with some takeout food for them. She said I had an auto transport. He cheerfully set down the food and told me where to go to meet him. Now mind you, U-Haul says the pickup locations won't help you due to liability issues. But the gentleman did all the hooking up. Didn't have any problems with his work, saved me a lot of time and I was glad he did it so there was no question in my mind that it might be a problem. They are very nice and helpful at this location. read more

Stay away from this aweful location and head to the nearest actual uHaul center. This neighborhood dealer is A W E F U L. The "manager" vickie is immature and ignored every complaint about one of her staff members. Just did a u-turn the moment I saw her behind the counter.
