If I could give them no stars I would. Don't rent from this storage. They're infested with rats and they don't inform you about it. My unit is in the front entrance and we don't store food. I have had my storage for over 4 years so I know the rat problem is new but they didn't inform the tenants. We had to find out from our ruined items and it's droppings. When we told them about the findings the office people said they were aware of the issue and were fumigating once every two weeks. Apparently someone was storing food and they couldn't do anything about it. Ok understandable but they never informed us about this issue which is completely wrong. When we brought this to the attention of the office people, they wanted us to transport the trash in our personal car which was wrong since we have kids. They didn't want us to throw the rat poop in their trash bin. After it not being something we caused they still wanted us to transport it and not throw it away there. They also wanted us to put traps for the rat. All they were going to do was fumigate once every 2 weeks which if it's an issue they should be investing more into getting rid of the rats. They're cheap people who don't really want to invest back into the storages. We also went 6+ months with a broken gate. They don't want to invest in a new gate so they kept trying to fix the one they had which kept breaking down. They charge an alright fee for the storages so they should be reinvesting in improving and fixing their issues. If you don't want to have an issue or a bad experience dealing with issues from rats just rent somewhere else. They won't be helping if you have rats. They just take your money and have you deal with it. read more

Very disappointing service, I claim the rodent back to December 2019 and as of today 8/11/2020, I still not receive my $500. I might consider file a small claim in the court in order to get my money back. They keep telling stories and delays without pay you. No matter how much value you claimed, the maximum compensation is $500. I`m not the only one who has rodent issue and you won`t be the last one. Good luck with storing your stuff here. These are what I have after I store my furniture after 5 months when the first time I open my gate. My leather chair set, leather sofa are all destroyed. I agree with Brian. Their service is terrible. I called to let them know my payment would be late 5 days in advance. She said she would make a note in my file. I still got 3 reminder calls before the date I said I would pay. After the promotion ended, the rate went up considerably and now I got notice that my rent is going up yet again. Outrageous! If you are looking for storage space do NOT be suckered into this business by their introductory promotions. I decided to move my storage to this location because it was closer to where I work and upon driving by I saw the promo for 1st month free, free truck, etc. What's not stated is the $20 you have to plop down for "insurance" on the "free" truck that's non-refundable. What I thought was a huge savings of free months rent and free truck to move ended up simply being a savings of $10 after all the fees/expenses I paid out of pocket for this move from PS down the street. Okay that wasn't so bad. The 1 star comes from their customer service reps. There is simply none once you become their customer. Before you sign your papers they sell you like there's no tomorrow, but wait until you need them after you moved in. There was 2-3 times where I had to talk to them about issues with my unit and I don't mean to be racist but the mexican girls are simply there to collect their checks. It makes me feel like I had to beg them just to hear me out let alone get anything done. After the 3rd time I decided enough was enough I'm moving out of this place, again the mexican girl comes into play and said well wait I'll talk to the manager and maybe see if we can get you a discount to stay with us, we'll call you within a week. This was 3 weeks before my monthly is up and what do you know no calls ever. I showed up on my last day moved everything out and went in to tell her the unit is cleared and she was like what? why are you moving out? Why didn't you tell us? Eh hello earth to chunky I did tell you. You apparently wrote it down somewhere but it wasn't where the manager expects it to be so no discussion was made about my unit. I'm just glad I am out of there and don't have to put up with this kind of business anymore. I could've paid $8 more per month in rent to stay at PS where they are on top of things vs saving $45 over 6 months and having to move twice and needing to rent my own uhaul the 2nd time. During the past 2 years, I've used 4 different storage unit companies, and by far this is the best storage unit I've used. As we all know, the storage unit itself is a storage unit, it's really the location and having the best spots. What really makes the difference is the customer service. Lisa, the manager at this storage unit has been very helpful, she's gone out if her way to get the spot that I needed. She's friendly makes you feel that you're not "just another customer. She's earned my business to come back (I no longer need the storage unit) next time that I need one. Great customer service! read more

after reading the previous postings i was shocked, because the two girls that work there "patty" and "vanessa" were on top of their cutomer service! i wasnt overloaded with the sales pitch that most businesses are into now. they gave me all the offers straight up, no hidden fees later, showed me different units even if it was cheaper in price than the one i was interested in, just to show and help me in what would work best for me. the units are very clean and the property is very well kept and secure. i was a very loyal customer of ps storage and dealt with the crappy unit and constant hike in price until it was just plain ridiculous. storamerica 's prices are amazing, alot cheaper than ps stoarge, cleanier, professional, and you feel appreciated. the move in deal was an added bonus to make the move, "free moving truck with free gas" all you pay is $20 for insurance fee!! wow, go rent a truck from uhaul and it would be $70.00 plus replacement of gas!! it was worth every penny spent (or should i say hardly spent) to move here. patty and vanessa your customer service, your friendliness, the follow up, and follow-through exceeded my expectations! thank you read more

I would rate this location a 0 if i could. They have recently changed management and the current manager is not only unprofessional she can never seem to have a clear answer and cannot provide reasoning as to why certain changes are occurring. I really MISS LISA she was the best she always communicated changes via email, phone or postal service and was always willing to help. Whichever method she used for communication I always received it. Back in January i went in to make my payment noticed someone else was assisting other than Lisa I asked about her they just said she was out for the day but took my cash payment . (of course) Never was i told when i was making my payment that the following month in February that my Rent would increase and additional $55 dollars "because my promotion had ended" When i asked why i was not notified about the increase i was told they don't have to notify me because it just happens after the 12 months are up. I was upset at the fact they had the chance to notify me that 1. Their was going to be a change in management 2. That when i maid my previous months payment they should of notified me the following month that my rent would increase 3. If Lisa was still the manager she would of notified me and or called me if she would of forgot to tell me when i had gone in to make a payment The new managers (Rachel) response was "okay." "we are not obligated to notify you, your 12 month are up " to which i responded that "I would be moving out soon" . I was so Upset and did not feel like continuing going back and forth over the matter i paid the now $228 monthly from then i started clearing out most of the Storage but still made the payment in March of another $ 228. Yesterday i went in to make this months payment and when i get there and now they tell me my rent is $252 a month an additional $24 dollars increase . When i question the increase the manager tells me they mailed out the notification in February about the increase. To which again i reply with why was i not notified in March when i made the payment. At this time my rent has increased a total of $76 dollars in less than a 3 month time span and ever since Lisa left. =( At this point i am completely UPSET and refuse to continue renting at this location so i ask what a prorate would be for me to move out by the following Friday as this week i will have to travel for work on Wednesday and will be back the following Tuesday. She said she can only offer me a Pro Rate until this Friday and i must be out by 5 p.m. I asked her to show me other units because i don't think i can move out by the 15 but might need to store my left over items. When she is walking around to show the units she keeps grunting and not really trying to show me a location i asked for something close to my current unit she tells me there is nothing available and walks me to the other corner of the facility. As i get back i ask her to quote me on the pro rate and she gives me $129.50 until the 15th and asked for my card i handed it to her but asked her to provide me statement first of all my payment and to provide m e quotes for the units i had viewed. She handed me the copy of my statement and continued to look at her computer i then asked what my pro rate would be until the 13 th since i wont be here until the 15th and would have to be out in 2 days by Wednesday since i will be leaving for work she says o i already processed your payment until the 15th . To which i reply what why if i did not authorize you to process it and i am still trying to figure out my options. I told her repeatedly that i had not received the notice that they had supposively mailed out in February and that being a rental and a notification of increase this should have been mailed via certified mail so that i could acknowledge the increase. She said that corporate mailed out the notices .. She then said i can reverse the transaction and re bill you until Wednesday @ this point my 7 year old daughter is getting restless and wants to leave. I refused to continue discussing the matter with her (Rachel) current manager and that if she wanted to notify me of the increase that she should of sent it via Certified Mail to verify that i acknowledged the receipt of increase on my rent. I asked for the corporate # as i would be putting in a complaint. I left telling her that she should not have submitted my payment with me actually authorizing and she replied with i can reverse the payment. When i arrived home i realized that she never game me a copy of my payment or did not ask me if i wanted an electronic copy of my receipt sent to my email. The # that she gave my to call is (951) 682 - 1107 and when i call it directly goes to Voicemail so how am i suppose to get some kind of feeedback or help in regards to this. read more
