I needed a small storage space for some of my belongings and Angie went out of her way to help me find the perfect space for my needs. It was actually close to closing time when I came in, but Angie took the time to tell me about all of the spaces that were available as well as ensure that I got a great deal. She even went with me to show me this facility, which is across the street from the other location. Angie explained in great detail all of the information that would be helpful and stayed after hours to review the information with me again. Until recently, I was a long term tenant of FMS. I have always found the property to be well kept and secure. Office Mgr, Angie, is very helpful and organized and keeps excellent records. I've only had to call the office a couple times, but she's always given great service. A couple more things: they offer shredding services which is excellent and I really like that they send electronic receipts for billing; no wondering if my check arrived. I no longer need storage space but if I ever do again, would I rent from them again? Absolutely. read more

Angie, the manager was friendly and so very helpful made my first time renting a storage unit a really easy experience. I don't have an account with Yelp, but this place is worth a shout out. The main reason I like this facility is the manager. She's friendly and professional at all times. Anytime I've had a question about the access hours, she's always helped. I've even gotten a referral credit from introducing some of my friends who rented as well. The area is clean and private and small, just the way I like it. This is a great place to store your goods if you're in the Arcadia area. All the units are drive up to accessible which is majorly important and I have a handicap unit with handles that make it convenient to raise the door up. I have been a resident of foothill mini storage for 2 yrs or so and I've never had one problem with my stuff nor have I ever had any regrets that I rent space at foothill mini storage ! The management at foothill mini storage has always been polite an friendly almost as if we were family ! I would recommend foothill mini storage to all my friends and family. Customer service is not their best suite. When speaking with William about account issues he was very condescending. Perhaps the staff needs a quick lesson on interacting with customers. Maybe then Foothill Mini Storage will receive a higher satisfaction rate on recommendations and reviews. read more

I came in the other day while some guy was trying to maneuver his huge move in truck through the facility. It was ridiculous! The lady there was trying to tell him to stop, but he wouldn't listen and proceeded on just to rub up against the concrete column that holds up the freeway. This guy should have listened to the woman that was directing him, but wow, what a stubborn fellow. The lady there rented to us and was very sweet. She called for help from the other facility that I believe is managed by the same company, so they came over to take pictures of the damage and all the while, she still managed to help two more people in the process sign up to their new units. If I was that guy, I would've listened to the lady, after all, she does know the area better than someone who doesn't work there. The facility is nice and clean, and the aisles are wide enough for a standard sized move in truck, but not a 40 foot diesel sized one. I think the guy just brought the mess on himself. I would refer this facility to anyone. They do everything in their power to make you feel comfortable and important. A rare thing nowadays! read more

if you are looking for a bargain, forget it. Way over priced. Don't plan on bring your belongings in a moving truck. They DO NOT fit through the facility. They rent out spaces next to fire hydrants where there is no room to manuver a truck thru. We brought a 24 ft truck there to removed our items out because we purchased a home. When we get there with the moving truck, there were cars parked at the turnaround and there was not room to get the truck thru. We had taken a truck thru there many times before with no issues. This time with vehicles there we were unable to get the truck thru. As a result there was a vehicle damaged. The manager at the time, called the police and made a huge scene and refused to help the situation. In fact, she put a lock on our unit and refused to take it off claiming non payment which we not true. We were told to leave the rented truck there until Monday when the car that was in the way would be moved. After a three hour delay, were we able to get the manager from the storage facility across the street to call the district manager and get permission to move that car so we could get the truck thru. It took 5 minutes to move the car, get the truck out, and put the car back. The whole thing was a circus. If you war smart, go to the facility across the street. People who are there to help, not make situations like this worse. read more
