This facility here in Sugarland is the best! First, it is very clean! The person who assisted me Bernard Montgomery was soooo pleasant and knowledgeable and assisted me in finding exactly what I needed and more....he said he had recently transferred to this location, but you could tell he truly loved his job and people!! It is very hard to find good customer service these days...especially because I am a senior citizen people won't always take the time to patiently answer our questions, but this gentlemen did!.... giving me suggestions on the size unit that worked better making me feel comfortable to use this place for my storage in the near future and I will be back. The door to our outside unit was broken before thanksgiving. -We had to have their staff help pull it up. The staff said that they would turn in a service request to have it fixed. I am 69 years old and I cannot get the door open without the help. Its been over 3 months since this happened. The staff in Sugar Land has said that the service company needed to order parts. Then they said that they would have to batch up service requests for cost reasons. Now they say that the parts are still on order. I have been making full payments since Nov. 2023 but its still broken. read more

So, Here's my experience with StorQuest in Sugarland. I started renting a spot for my travel trailer in January of this year. Everything was fine for the first couple of months but not so much lately. Things went downhill when they rented the spot next to me. I know.....that should not be a problem, but it is because the guy that rented the spot is in the business of renovating and re-selling travel trailers. Theoretically, that shouldn't be a problem either but it is because the rigs he pulls in are usually pretty big and he ALWAYS leaves the slides completely open. When he does that, I barely have enough room to park my trailer and in fact there was one time, I couldn't park it at all - not enough room. Even when I can park it, I can't open my door and pull down my stairs (see picture). So, either I can't pull into the spot and if I can, I can't get into my trailer which is what happened this morning when I went over to do something in my own trailer - I couldn't open the door. This is 3rd or 4th time this has happened. I have talked to management each time and they assured me that it wouldn't happen again. Why would he leave his slides open you ask? Well, he not only leaves the slides open, he leaves the door of his rig open because he is showing it to prospective buyers. I can only hope that he accompanies said buyers when they are there and that he is not giving them his gate code. On top of that, I have just been notified that my monthly rental fee is going up from $154 to over $190. Such a deal. read more

Jennifer is very friendly and really helpful. I was switching my existing unit to a larger one and when the unit across from me became available she reserved it for me immediately. She even gave me a lock to use temporarily, as I was switching units and gave me several wonderful suggestions for organizing my storage unit. The storage is site is always clean and bright and safe, and the AC works really well in the climate controlled hall that I have my unit in. I have had my unit for three years and have been very happy. I would highly recommend StorQuest at the Sartartia Road location. read more

I was recently sucked into a false auction set up by this storage facility it was staged in my opinion. Had to pay cash the unit was filled with different things from different owners. Be cautious when you are dealing with this storage facility. read more

Terrible. Would not use again. Showed up for our reservation to load up a storage unit and the doors were locked. All we needed to know was our unit number but the girl at the desk "Lucy" said she was on her break so we needed to wait 30 min. Horrible customer service. read more

I went for the C&D experience and I knew I wasn't going to get hundreds nor thousands for my items. All I wanted was the $2 bills for my money collection. I arrived surprisingly happy that the cars behind me gave me enough space while I had my tailgate down while driving relatively slow. That's a rarity when I have my tailgate up. Right when you take a right on SW Plaza you'll go down a curving road right smack dab into the cul-de-sac of C&D Metal and a vehicle impound lot. You'll see lots of cars parked in the cul-de-sac and a long line waiting for the "vehicle storage". Keep on trucking along into the C&D Metal yard. You'll see a hut with a young lady in it, you'll need to give her your driver's license, license plate id, the description of the items, and your address. Step out of the vehicle for this, she will make no effort. Are you new? Are you new? ARE YOU NEW HERE? You'll be slammed with this repetitive question if you are new to C&D. I couldn't get away from it. Now the lady in the hut may misinform you on where you need to go next. I was told to go to lane 1 inside the warehouse and that's where I met José. José, a very friendly Hispanic man that's very helpful and very detailed in helping customers on what to do next. Are you new? Are you new? ARE YOU NEW HERE? If that's not obvious enough, yes I'm new; José. It's my first time! Drive around past the hut, to the long blue scale, wait for the green light and proceed to the junkyard. I weighed at 4000. Verde ding! I met José and a massive pile of scrap, it was as tall as the sky. I offered to help, José unload; but he said he got it. That's just my personality. I made sure José didn't throw my walking sticks out as he didn't. Next you'll drive left of the warehouse to the next long blue scale. I weighed at 3620. Verde, ding! Park in the front and go to the door that's open. Here you will see a dark, dimmed, and rigged up counter. Where you'll not be able to see the cashier at all. It's a one-way mirror, reflective on side and transparent on the other. Is this a police interrogation?! The cashier was so friendly, she expressed how she wishes her customers could see her. There's a process you'll need to do before you get handed $2 bills. She'll ask you to take a picture through the webcam, scan your fingerprint, and sign. You'll need to do this, TWICE. For your records and theirs. Then she'll ask how you want your money, $2 bills or regular payment. I want what is advertised on the commercials and website. There you'll get a receipt, your payment, and a card to use again if you decide to come back. Are you new, Are you new, ARE YOU NEW HERE? The overall experience was outstanding! I will be back. The new location off of Reed Rd, will be more convenient and gas cost effective for me. It's opening Spring 2024 or sometime in 2024.

Great Staff Jennifer and Chelsea so friendly and helpful. I came in after this last flood in the Katy area and these ladies are so caring and helpful. They helped me from locating a truck to use to renting a unit. The are clean and safe there and they even tell you how to load your unit if you are needing that help. I'm a newbie to storage but these ladies helped me feel like I can do this and they have been available to help me figure it out when I couldn't. I have never had such great customer service as this. Moved out of one unit and gave proper notice but was billed any way (was not offered a move out form to sign). Moved in to another unit and told Jennifer the manager that I would like to be billed on my CC automatically. Went there yesterday and was locked out. No one in office, called several times no answer. Called next day, no answer. Finally get email about non payment so called again and finally got some one to answer and they got me the form for auto bill (why was I not told to fill it out the first time?). Left message for regional Manager, never heard back. Terrible customer service. read more

I live in Idaho and need a TEXAS inside storage facility for my RV for the winter. I spoke with Patricia at the Sugarland location and she informed me they had no availability at this time. However; she looked up all the different locations and availability and placed me on a waiting list. She DID NOT have to take one minute extra once she said "no". She treated me with such kindness and sincere interest. I hope a unit comes up so I can do real business with this company. StorQuest did an amazing job helping us with our move! We rented our UHAUL truck and picked it up at StorQuest. It was easy in and easy out. They had just what we needed in last minute moving materials in their store. We rented moving pads but needed more and StorQuest came through at the last minute!! Lucy gave us excellent customer service and was a cheerful contact at the front desk. We got exactly what space we required and have had no problems storing our stuff here. It is off the beaten path but well located and accessible from Highway 99. The best benefit is that this place is cheaper than most. Greatly recommend. Try it you'll like it. read more

Jennifer is the best so friendly and helpful. I know I ask a lot of questions but she knows this business and explained everything in details with a pretty smile which I could really appreciate. I have been with this company for years. The site was managed by another company prior and was bought out by StorQuest. Service there is always top notch and the place is clean and secure. The site manager Jennifer is absolutely the best!! I have two units there. one climate controlled and one not. Go with them!! You won't be disappointed. read more

I have had a unit for sometime now and never had any issues with storequest. Ms. Jennifer is the sweetest. Customer service is great and if they are not in the office they call you back right away. The property is well kept super clean, rates are affordable. I strongly suggest this self storage. read more
