First off this salon is so cute and has such a warm and welcoming vibe! I had an appointment with Andrea and she took me in right away, I asked for highlights and a cut and I couldn't be happier with how it came out! She was so friendly and made sure I was comfortable throughout the whole process. I will DEFINITELY be coming back again!

Carrie and Sean have been cut/coloring my hair for over four years. I am extremely particular about my hair. Upon moving to Orange County from Australia I researched and tried a number of highly rated salons in the OC until I finally found Carrie and Sean! What a relief! They both LISTEN to what you want and they give super helpful advice based on your hair type. They both have attention to detail and take so much pride in their work. They truly care about you and your hair. Trust me, I have done my research in OC. You do not have to look any further than Stotts Atelier.

Lauren Fuller is AMAZING! She is passionate about hair and dedicated to making you feel like a true beauty. I have really thick, frizzy, and just obnoxious hair and Lauren was able to tame my frizz and make me blonde again! Not only did she make my gnarly roots match the rest of my hair, but she did so in a seamless way that looks as natural and healthy as possible. The salon was was clean and parking was very easy to find. Overall, had a wonderful experience at Stott's Atelier and will definitely be coming back!

First off, I follow Alexis Aquino anywhere she goes! I come from DTLA to have her work magic on my hairs. She always knows exactly what to do for the frame of my face and right colors to use. It's worth every penny to leave feeling pulled together. Lastly, the salon is in a very safe well known area. Has parking which is always a plus and the salon inside is clean, homey with natural light and friendly faces. I highly recommend Alexis & Stotts Salon!!

I have followed Alexis Aquino here from another salon because I LOVE her! She is amazing with brunettes and is a wonderful and kind person. Seriously, the cutest salon I've ever been to! Lauren did a cut and blowout on my (lonnnggg) hair, it looks amazing. I didn't have an appointment today, I reached out to her this morning and instead of booking me an appointment for a week or two out, she made me an appointment at the end of her day and stayed late just to make my hair beautiful. Sean and carrie are EVERYTHING! My mom and I have been their clients for years, following them to various salons (yes, they're THAT good ). I am so very excited to see them end up in their forever home: Stotts Atelier! Characteristically, Sean and Carrie are geniune, charismatic, and all-around wonderful humans! Proffessionally, they are quite literally some of the best in their field; if I can avoid it, I will never go to someone other than Carrie to cut my hair, as I've never been happier with my hair after she cuts and styles it. As for Sean, the color master, he made my hair look so tasteful and natural for my first color. Thanks to his mad skills, I may need to make coloring a semiannual experience. As for the salon itself, it is so trendy and "homey"--everything one could want in a salon. Let's just say that they pay attention to the details--from colors to comfort--and that doesn't go unnoticed. Alexis Aquino does an amazing job! I've always wanted to get my hair highlighted but I have never done anything to it besides cut it. When I finally decided to go for it, I had full trust in Alexis. My hair is naturally blonde but I have darker roots throughout the winter. She was able to make my highlights look natural and blended in well with my natural color. Plus, she is beyond friendly, talented, and professional. The salon itself is very chic and everyone there is so kind and provide a relaxing experience. I will most definitely be back! read more

Love this brand new salon space! It is very modern and welcoming inside. Very cute and a perfect location. There is plenty of parking. Lauren is great! She has great advice to help me reach my hair goals, gave me a great moisturizing treatment, and always has my hair so silky smooth when I leave. I just love this little salon! All the stylists are awesome! The ambiance is warm and inviting, I love lounging in the private little outdoor courtyard patio while my color processes and they always offer a hot or cold beverage, with unlimited refills along with a chocolate as a refreshment. I've been going to Katie for my color and Carrie for my haircut since way before Stotts's Atelier opened. These two are always on their game, but really you can't go wrong with anyone at this little gem of a salon! read more

After a recent switch in salons, I couldn't be happier with my decision in Stotts Atelier, this place has such a fresh and welcoming vibe! I'm in the process of growing out my last balayage and came in for a summer cut and toner and Alexis exceeded my expectations! She is so receptive to your wants and takes the extra time to make sure you're happy with the final product. She got rid of all the brass and brought out chocolate tones that I'm OBSESSED with! I am always so happy and feel so confident about myself after Alexis does my hair. She is so sweet and professional and gives the BEST scalp massages. What an awesome place! Sean greeted me with a bottle of water and told me how to use the check-in tablet at the front desk. The salon is spacious and well decorated, definitely has a relaxing atmosphere. There is a courtyard in the back and pleasant music everywhere. The reception area was very spacious as well. Considering the risks related to coronavirus, I felt very safe here. Everyone was wearing a mask and strictly enforcing social distancing. Chanel has been cutting my hair for years and I was so happy to see her again after the pandemic shut down this industry. Can't wait for my next haircut. Keep up to good work! read more

Love, love, love, Stotts Atelier! The 1.5 hour drive from Palm Springs was so worth it. Everything is immaculate (presentation, cleanliness & service), at this stunning salon! I was warmly greeted when I checked in and made to feel comfortable, welcome and valued throughout my entire appointment. As a curly haired girl, I find it hard to find a stylist that really understands curly hair. Carrie (co-owner and stylist) is the real deal and knows how to cut curly hair, while respecting your personal style and aesthetic. No generic cuts here! Valet is apparently free, but I found street parking in front of OSPI. I initially found SAGE on Yelp, then visited their website to learn more before booking. I really appreciated how transparent they are. Each stylist has a profile with a bio and a picture. The services and individual pricings are listed upfront in the booking portal, which made it easy to choose someone who fit what I was looking for. Price transparency is important to me, and at the very end I was charged exactly what I booked. My stylist was Mikayla, and she was incredibly meticulous/detail-oriented. She spent about 4.5 hours perfecting my Full Highlights, and I never felt like she was rushing through any part of the process. During the consultation, I felt heard. She listened to what I wanted without any judgment or pressure to steer me toward a different outcome. Instead, the conversation felt collaborative, with explanations that helped me make informed decisions. I know for some, having to chat for all that time may be daunting. Mikayla struck the perfect balance between friendly conversation and giving me space. She clearly communicated each step of the process before doing it. My Full Highlights service included foiling, toning, a shadow root, a hair mask, and a full blowout. I'm so happy with how everything turned out!

Colby really took the time to listen to what I wanted and understood exactly what I was looking for. I wanted to keep my long hair while adding movement and shape, and he absolutely nailed it. My hair finally looks the way I had envisioned. Beyond his talent, he was incredibly kind and thoughtful throughout the appointment. Before I left, he even let me know that if there was anything I'd like adjusted after living with the haircut for a few days, he'd be happy to take care of it. That level of care and attention really stood out. I'm so glad I found both SAGE and Colby. I'll definitely be back and highly recommend him to anyone looking for a stylist who truly listens and delivers.

When I brought up my concerns, the owner, I sent her this same video (Emily) explained that this is what the salon considers a partial ROOT highlight touchup. I already had my hair previously bleached . I respect that explanation, but for $240 plus a $50 tip ($290 total), I expected a more noticeable result. She offered to correct it for an additional $50. He was COMPLETELY s-talking her to his client and saying that "she's like 17 and walking around like she owns the place" and that she's "such a b***." I don't know this girl personally, so who knows what she's like, but that is COMPLETELY unprofessional and I was disgusted about the way he described her. He is a full-grown man talking bad about a young girl. That is extremely inappropriate. His whole demeanor was off-putting and I couldn't stop thinking about it during my appointment. He came off super stuck-up and insensitive. Absolutely crazy to me to be LOUDLY talking smack about one of your coworkers, let alone to a CLIENT.
