    Beer to go.

Great service and even tastier suds. The beer was phenomenal and they have a ton of swag you can buy and take home. Really enjoyed the time we spent here. Can't wait to make it back!

Top 3 breweries in Seattle. From an incredible space with so much seating inside and outside. To their impressive lineup of beer and their exceptional customer service. I loved my time here and was happy that I decided to make the stop. I know there's a lot of options in Ballard but between here and Bale Breakers, you can't go wrong.

Amazing! Great options for all tastes, heated outdoor area, and good ambiance. Loved the pride support right off the jump & the guy who served us was super nice!

The venue's great - very classic taproom with tons of production space. We got lucky, we were there on a brew day too - Thursday afternoon I believe it was. We sat outside where they were pumping whatever heat/steam/etc. and it smelled absolutely incredible. Better than fresh-baked bread. Even outside it just smelled absolutely delicious. The only thing was....I found the beers to just be OK. The oktoberfest was good but certainly had better in that area, the lichtenhainer was interesting but not worth writing home about. There were a couple others that I tried too that were all the same - nothing bad but nothing great.

Stoup Brewery did a fantastic job with our July 5, 2025 post wedding party of 130 guests. All aspects of the evening were wonderfully addressed. Easy access and parking. The large indoor space with high top stools was clean, spacious, some low tables and chairs were wheeled in for our younger and older guests, various games from the game shelves were a hit, private bartender and full staff were friendly and accommodating, wrist bands for our party contract were a fabulous idea, Reserved signs and Welcome sign were a nice touch. We didn't even leave the party space for the outdoor patio or on site food truck. The coordination between you and our outside vendor D'Elementi Catering was perfect.

Great beer, lovely patio with fireplaces and heat lamps. Very spacious and located in the industrial part of Ballard with lots of other breweries within easy walking distance.

Our final brewery that we visited in the Ballard neighborhood was Stoup Brewing. We had tried to go to Urban Family across the street but they had already closed for the night, but we saw that Stoup was still open. I couldn't do anymore beer at the end so I just stuck with a sampler. They had lots of beers available on tap, but when my dad ordered a stout and a Bavarian Hefeweizen, I had to have the hefeweizen! Both were in the sample glass, obviously. I think Stoup has one of the best hefeweizens all around. My dad said that their stout was pretty good. They don't serve food directly, but they have a food truck outside. They also have plenty of indoor and outdoor seating, which are both spacious. Another great brewery located in the Ballard neighborhood of Seattle! This is a must try if you're in the area.

The place is huge, went there to start off our bar crawl night. Their beer selection is amazing. Tried the fruity versions and ciders because I am not a beer person. The service was good. It was well organized. You come, stand in the line if there's any, get your beer, take a seat, enjoy. Simple concept. There's no food there, but you can order from outside and eat in. The place closes around 11. If you are a beer person, you would definitely like this place.

Counter service brews with a solid selection. Board games are available and a good variety of indoor seating (we sat at long tables for a group of 10). The acoustics are nice so that the place doesn't get too loud when it's full.

Stoup Brewing is among the cluster of breweries in the area and sits solid in the pack with pretty good selection. Step outside of it and you're only a few yards away from another if you want to brew hop, which is what I did a little of. The young lady doing pours was very cool to talk to about the beers. She made different recommendations and poured samples no problem. Her descriptions were pretty on point, so this was also nice. There is indoor seating which isn't quite that big but has TVs. The patio area is very good, maybe one of the best with decent space and seating of all types with music going. There is a food truck out front like many of the others for some bites while you drink. The Citra IPA is probably my favorite here. As you'd guess, it's citrusy and goes down good on a summer day. Tastes good in can too. My latest visit I had a "Paraderade" IPA. Has a florally flavor, not bad. As far as hanging out, with a sizeable menu, I'd say Stoups is best on this block.

100% recommend this brewery. The vibe here and genuine friendly service was an absolutely refreshing experience. The Seattle freeze is none existent here! Excellent friendly service with a smile and pleasant conversation. The beer is delicious too. I had a pint of their flagship IPA with the suggestion it was a great "get to know us" craft beer. Bubbly, light, and super refreshing. The beer garden is huge and inviting too. Cool music to go with the vibes. Steam from the inside smelling like hops and barley came out of the vents in the beer garden. Nicely done Stoup! I ended my visit with a taster of their strawberry sour. Super delicious. Parking in this neighborhood is very tricky and the nearby parking lot is misleading. You can park in the next door lot after 6pm. Otherwise, street parking. Cheers and happy Yelping.

For living in Seattle now for 13 years, I'm shocked with myself not knowing about this awesome brewery. The beer I had was a Bavarians Hefeweizen. It was perfect! It was very smooth and tasty with no harsh acidic at the end. Highly recommend to try these guys out. The girl that took our order was super knowledgeable and friendly. She knows all about their beers. Definitely plan on coming back here. Prost!

Tasty but crowded tonight although service was still fast. We sat outside by the fire and even on a cold January night it was delightful.

No non-beer options. My beer-drinking friend didn't like the heifweissen (sp?) but liked the one at Hales. Lots of little kids.

They happened to be having an event with live bands and were donating money from drink sales! There was a good crowd and all the live music was actually enjoyable! The bar is right through the front doors with a smaller room to the right, and bathrooms and the large hall on the left. The bartender was super nice and we liked our drinks! Our girls shared the Bavarian Soft Pretzel ($11) with pub mustard. It wasn't overly large, but they said it tasted homemade and was good. My son and I split a Reuben's Reuben ($22). It was a decent sized sandwich cut in half and quite honestly was one of the best reubens I have had between the quality of meat, flavor of sauer kraut, and crunch of the bread. Not sure I would say it was worth $22, but it's Seattle so that's kind of how it works.
