Visiting from Philly and tried the 12" Wiz with. Girl thought I said Wiz wet Anyway, the steak itself was ok. However, it was indeed WET. Not sure if it was the wiz or just grease, but it was so messy I couldn't pick it up and it just ate through the roll. Speaking of the roll. I don't expect them to have the same rolls we have in Philly, but this roll seemed to be undercooked not sure how that's even possible. Pickles were cheap huge jar pickles. Bring your wallet and lower your expectations before walking in the door. Was excited to try this place but won't be coming back. Prices are higher than in Philly and quality isn't as good. They charge more for using a credit card than Visa or Mastercard charge them (must be another source of income for them) and they don't let you know unless you can spot the fine print. They also don't let you use debit probably because they can't charge extra for debit. Best thing about straight out Philly is the decorations on the wall. Come in and take a look at those but save yourself the aggravation and turn around and leave before getting food. read more

We felt welcomed as soon as we walked in the door, the guy behind the counter took our order (one 11" Philly with extra Wiz and grilled onions and one 11" chicken Philly with extra Cooper sharp, grilled onions, green peppers and mushrooms). Those were the most juiciest, delicious and the chicken was so tender; the best we've had outside of Philly! The wife saw an ad on Facebook for the place, so we decided to check it out. I had a Stromboli with pepperoni, sausage and mushrooms, my wife had a classic Philly Cheesesteak sandwich, for dessert I had a piece of Carrot cake cheesecake and took a piece of chocolate cheesecake home. Both the Stromboli and Cheesesteak sandwich were absolutely delicious. The staff were friendly and out going. Now the bad, as a dead hard Dallas Cowboys fan, I found the Philadelphia Eagles memorabilia hard to take. If they took that down the place would be perfect (lol). read more

Great food! We had the cheese steak with onion, mushrooms and provolone...roll was fresh..no grease...lots of flavor. Also had a hot dog..it was hot till the last bite, roll was more of a small sub roll than a hot dog bun but I preferred it to a regular bun. Anyone can chop steak, onions, peppers, and mushrooms then throw on some American cheese. The difference has always been in actually using American cheese and the BREAD. Just ordered for delivery. Received food made wrong, and missing items we paid for. Mike the owner told me to "grow up" (I am 53 years old) and to pick apart the food. When he asked did I want him to pick it up I said yes, and refund me. He then said an expletive and hung up on me. So, my associates and I have part of our order... missing an item, and some we cannot eat. We tipped the driver, and were charged $2. delivery fee for each order (all to the same location, an additional $12 for the shop as the driver verified he does not receive it ). Mike the owner even threatened a coworker of mine and challenged him to come to his store and talk to him in person. I feel most for his staff. We were there at a very busy time, and we had a take out order for 8. Every item was correct, hot and fresh. We have been there 3 or 4 times, it's been hit or miss every time. 1st experience- called in for a pickup order, was told it would be 20 minutes, they called me back asking when I would be here to pick it up (at about the 15 minute mark), I was pulling in at the time. Girl at the front didn't have a mask, but hey it's not a cdc rule. Pizza was good garlic knots were great- had 8 huge hot garlicy yumminess. 2nd- garlic knots were ridiculously small but was given about a dozen, but not the same. Overly garlic and cold, pizza was cold and really greasy. 3rd time in laws ordered, asked how many knots were in an order, was told 9 they got 5- not enough for 4 ppl, they were burnt and hard as a rock with a ton of garlic, inedible. Pizza was over cooked burnt on the bottom, funny thing is they made my in-laws wait because the order wasn't ready when they went to pick it up- how do you not look at the food when they are standing in front of you? Seriously everything was burnt. Not sure if we will be willing to try again with all the inconsistencies, there are too many other options around. read more

Ok for this area. But could have been better. High hopes not realized. A few suggestions for improvement: 1. You really need to get Amoroso Rolls. They really are the best. 2. Please - cook the steak and the onions separately. Combine at the last moment. If not you have an oniony steakish concoction, rather than a cheesesteak with grilled onions. 3. You need good quality Italian Cherry Peppers. 4. Frank's Black Cherry Wishniak would be the best. There are a few knock offs that are pretty good. 5. Consider getting Cooper's sharp cheddar cheese. I used to dine in at the Rockledge location and the cheese steak subs were great. The bread was really good. However, if you get to go,they wrap in a foil wrapper which traps in the steam and the roll gets really soggy which is not pleasurable. They should put in a cardboard or ventilated to go container and it will preserve the integrity of the bread. read more

Ordered a cheesesteak w fried onions and American cheese. They put oregano on it without me asking, there was not enough meat, and the roll was not good. I'm hoping this is all just newby problems and will right itself in a few months. Being from the Philly area- a cheesesteak does not automatically come with oregano (which I dislike), the meat is usually falling out of the sandwich bc they give you so much, and the roll makes or breaks the whole thing. Like another reviewer mentioned there is no wearing of masks or gloves by the employees. Furthermore the bathroom had watered down soap, a roll of paper towels thrown on top of the dispenser where you had to touch other peoples germs to get one, not to mention the water faucet were knobs where you had to touch the same surface touched by dirty hands. That should have been our first clue to get out of there. Next one was the tables inside that left dirty and the pieces of bread left over where people had just picked the meat out. Maybe it's because we were starving that made us still feel the need to wait over 30 minutes for what ended up being SO bad that we left after a few bites and didn't even bother to try to get any money back. For $15 for 1 sandwich and a drink they completely left the cheese off, the "ribeye" tasted like cheap meat from the discount bin and the bread was just all wrong. Not sure why it took over 30 minutes as im pretty sure they just microwaved everything. Should have paid attention to other reviewers with similar feedback instead of giving them the benefit of the doubt. The good bit of people coming in and out and the 4.5 star are completely misleading! Don't fall for it! Oh and we still smell like disgusting old greasy onions from the over whelming smell in there... Avoid this place!! read more

Im from philly. I know chesesteaks. These were good, but not quite right. They dont use amoroso rolls. There wasnt enough to fill the whole roll. Used the right meat and cheese. After going to this place several times I felt the need to express how disappointed I was with owner of this establishment. After seeing the cook preparing my order with out gloves and then go to the outside entrance talking to someone and wiping his face and head with paper towels. He then returned and finished my order without washing his hands. In critical times like this to me was inexcusable. I asked for the manager which is the owner. He was very unapologetic to the whole incident and could have cared less. I will never go back. Not a real good way to start your new location. read more

SO glad these guys are open close to home. Had the steak sandwich and fries and am now hooked, have been back many times. Fries are excellent, nice and crips and the sandwich is fantastic with fresh bread and plentiful meat. Now, some of the reviews on this site are low because these guys ran out of something.
