Once you get to the front door, they'll check your ID before letting you in, just to make sure there's enough seating to accompany your party. They also charge automatic gratuity if the party is larger than 6, I believe. The interior design is awesome with lots of cozy seats, fitting all party sizes. It's a great place to meet up with friends, while still providing a moody atmosphere if you want to bring someone on a date. The bartenders are pretty friendly and very knowledgeable. They have both a paper menu which has their latest concoctions, as well as their standard menu (ask for the deck of cards). My friends and I (4 of us total) came on a Friday night and it had a good amount of people without feeling too cramped. We ordered a wide variety of drinks, starting with a round of espresso martinis (which I would highly recommend). We had a few more rounds with each of us ordering separately. One of my friends asked our bartender for a suggestion and she really enjoyed her drink. However, my other friend got a suggested drink and did not like it at all. The bartender was kind enough to swap out his drink, which our group definitely appreciated. I'm definitely coming back and bringing any of my visitors who can appreciate a good cocktail.

The allure of the building remains in tact. And I truly can't imagine not having this everyman bar not here. It's been inconsistent since I started coming here in 2019. You just never know what you're going to get. Now in 2026, Union Station looks a lot different food and drink wise. A few anchors still remain, and Terminal Bar is one of them. One positive is that they've expanded and operate a food stall cranking out American-Brasserie style food; under the name Terminal Bar Kitchen. I actually had a porchetta sandwich from here about a year ago that was very good. Albeit oily and fatty, the flavors were there, and my interest was piqued. I came here the other night after a travel day. I didn't get to eat my usual post event wings the night before, so when I saw they now have wings on their menu, I was excited to get my fix. Chicken Wings ($18) // 8 wings to an order, with house pickles, and buffalo and bleu cheese on the side. It's always a red flag when the wings aren't coated in the sauce, though they could've done this because I ordered to-go? Can't fully knock them for that since I don't know the answer to that. They weren't bad, but nothing made them stand out, including the seasoning on the wings. I really don't like that they don't even have the option of ranch. Like c'mon, in this day in age?! You gotta have both on hand!!! What I've learned over the years is that Terminal Bar thrives on the quick experience. Dare I say, the bonus experience. For example, we already had a great night and you're showing off Union Station's awesomeness to your friends, and then you say, "wait should we grab one more at Terminal Bar?" Staying true to the name, the decor has a woodsy feel and the handles are made of various wood shapes. It was nice to see that they also offer some mixed drink options, margaritas, and a slushy option. There were some salty snacks available for purchase which was also a nice option to have. Happy Hour M-F 3-6pm with $5 pints. The place and restrooms were clean (two singles), there were some canned beers and merch items available for purchase, an outdoor patio and plenty of street parking. Overall the service and place were great! Some things to mention, having the live band was great and the place is dog and kid friendly which are also a nice option to have at any venue. But the volume of the jazz band was just a bit too loud for the space and together with the many small kids playing and running around took away from this being a relaxing day. Nonetheless, the bartender Junebug made it an overall enjoyable evening after the kids left and we closed off the evening with another great brewery find that we'll be sure to visit again.
