Limited menu, overly priced drinks, and shy bartenders. Just a hype is all it is. My drink was okay, I got the el guapo with Cascahuin repo

Visiting a friend in Denver found us bar hopping on a Friday night. She had told me about Terminal Bar, and it did not disappoint. We sat at the low bar and enjoyed a Roasted Vegi on Panini sandwich which was delicious. Sergio served up some very tasty cocktails and was super friendly and personable. Great vibe and a razzle dazzle smile. Located inside Union Station, this place is beautiful!

Terminal Bar is a classic Denver spot that never disappoints. Located right inside Union Station, it has a historic, old-school vibe that feels both lively and laid-back at the same time. We were stopping by for drinks after exploring Union Station during the holidays. The bar is spacious, the atmosphere is energetic without being overwhelming, and the bartenders are efficient and friendly. We were seated immediately without a wait. They have a great selection of beers, cocktails, and prices that feel fair for the location. We were seated in a booth in the bar area. The menu displays like a train station schedule above the bar area. I am a mezcal fan and was pleased to see they had a variety of mezcal cocktails on the menu. I ordered the Old Money with Nia Common Ensambie Mezoal, La Gritona Reposado Tequila St. Grorge Spiced Pear, Lemon, Honey. The cocktail had a great blend of smokiness from the mezcal and sweetness from the spiced pair. Other people in my party ordered the Thyme Traveler with Whoatley Vodka, St. Elizebeth Allspice Dram Lemon. Apricot, Thyme, Sugar and Brixton Old Fashioned with Smith & Cross Rum, Fernet-Branca, Cinnamon, Sugar, Angostura Orange Bitters, Angostura Bitters What really makes this place special is not only the uniquely crafted cocktails, but also the character, high ceilings, vintage charm, and that unmistakable Union Station energy. It feels iconic, not touristy. If you're in downtown Denver and want a drink with personality and history, Terminal Bar is a great stop.

Had a lovely time exploring union station & terminal bar. The drinks are pricy but maybe appropriately so for the atmosphere. Bartenders were great and able to make whatever we wanted!

$5 mini martinis on HH. That's all you need to know!

Oh my goodness what a fun stop. My husband and I were in Denver for our babymoon and we were told we had to visit Union Station. Enter, Terminal Bar. We landed right about happy hour time and the tiny martinis were to die for (per my hubs). We enjoyed some yummy apps like sliders and fries. I even enjoyed a tiny sample of beer. I couldn't enjoy drinks as I was pregnant, but the service was excellent, and the setting was beautiful. It's also a great place to stop before heading to a Rockies game. So fun!

The espresso martini was amazing. The winter in Kyoto drink was good but definitely go here for the espresso martini. Love the holiday vibes.

Really impressed with place. I think I've previously written it off as an option because similar to an airport bar, you'd expect to be over charged and let down, not the case here! Our server was sweet and attentive and helped us secure some blue cheese olives with our martinis. For $12, I was very pleased with the drinkability and throughly enjoyed it. For food I spit an order of their steak frites. Another hit. Steak and fries are admittedly some of my favorite foods, but the pickled onions and seasoning on the fries kept it delicious down to the last bite.

Terminal Bar in #Denver Union Station. Queso con Chorizo: chihuahua cheese, white american cheese, pueblo chiles, chimichurri, served with tortilla chips and salsa verde. Delicious. #Pozole Verde with roasted poblano pepper, chicken & hominy, garnished with crema, cabbage, and lime. Excellent. Atmosphere top notch. Staff friendly. A great experience.

Awesome bar located in the Denver train station! Definitely worth going to if you are in this area or waiting for a train They have a nice beer and drink selection With regards to their food, it is absolutely worth trying. Collectively we had the chicken tenders, ribs, and birria tacos and all of them were delicious and would easily order each of them again. They are also well priced. The service is also great, were very nice and made our time very enjoyable Would definitely recommend this place and will definitely be back when in the area

Barbacoa fries! Get the meat on the side so the fries won't get soggy. But overall tasty!

Service was fast. Super cool vibey interior. Got a few drinks before our shuttle to Steamboat. Grabbed a bite to eat also. Barbacoa fries! Get the meat on the side so the fries won't get soggy. But overall tasty! I would also ask for more sauce on the side cause it's so good! Green hatch smashed burger- double patties but definitely not smashed like how I would like. Super filling. Good burger. I got their blackberry cocktail and that gave me a good buzz before the trip! Night cap hopefully!

This is a great place to get a drink and light food. I recommend specialty drinks like a coffee martini made with tequila and sour whiskey. The staff is amazing, and Jimena & Eric make these drinks to perfection!

Inside the union station you will find this dark hidden in the center bar. You may pass it a few times but its presence is known. You'll come into large seats and a fully stocked bar. Welcome to the terminal. Our host was Logan who definitely gave us the dunk and did run down. This was our last stop before heading back once again home. The drink selection was very nice however I opted on food after already on a 3 day binge. The place like I said is very dark. The seats are comfortable, the bartenders definitely know their stuff but I was more shocked on the food. The barbacoa fries.... Man oh man I was not expecting that! Piled high of cheese, meat, sour cream, jalapeños, just packed full of stuff and that alone was needed for a cool day after going place to place.

This bar with lots of ambiance and charm is located inside the Union Station building, You can see the bright Terminal Marquee from almost anywhere you are on the first floor of Union Station. My husband and I got a beer and the decor, full of dark woods and period furniture was really nice and cozy. The bartenders were very attentive and they were always ready to see if we needed anything else. The bar also serves food, with many tables getting the fries...they looked great. We loved the menu/signage on top of the bar with the wines and beer choices...very cool looking.....

Ask the Community - Terminal Bar

Is happy hour in a certain location, or anywhere inside?

Happy Hour is anywhere inside Terminal Bar as well as the Beer Garden located at the large benches and is offered Monday through Friday from 4-6 pm. You may also order the Happy Hour specials from our Beer Window and take your beverages & food…

How hard is it to get a booth in the bar on a Saturday night?

It depends on what time you are planning on getting there. This bar is close to a lot of different companies, so therefore you will have the after work crowd and the regular Saturday night crew.

I won't completely spoil it for people who want the fun of the hunt, but I'll leave a few hints at the bottom. The drink special that night - their version of an Old Fashioned - was excellent and absolutely worth ordering. The other cocktails are liquor + mixer with the soda or bar gun. We tried a local gin (can't remember the name) & soda and a Four Roses Bourbon & Pepsi. There was a odd flavor that came with that round and tasted watered down. Stick with the special. So good! I'd go back all day for the special alone. The staff was a little bit of an outlier compared to the rest of the experience. Everyone was nice, but they didn't seem especially engaged, and the attire didn't really match the speakeasy atmosphere. That said, the space itself is large and immersive enough that once we had our drinks, we just leaned into the whole experience and had a great time. HINTS: 1. Go to the address listed... duh. 2.
