What a very interesting place oh and name. The staff was friendly and the restaurant was very clean. This was my first visit here and I was happy the menu was easy to understand. Although I'm not a taco girl this place was pretty good, with its unique twist on tacos. I ordered the San Antonio and the Al Pastor tacos and they had a pretty good taste to them. The tacos are small so you may want to order a few. We also ordered the street corn which has a unique flavor as well.

Owner or manager was nice and the girl that took my order. Food was great and drinks were ok. I wouldn't order that spicy tequila drink again but I'd definitely come back to try something else.

Strange Taco Bar in Lawrenceville is one of those places that immediately makes you wonder why you waited so long to try it. The space itself is swanky in a relaxed way, cute, well decorated, and open and inviting without trying too hard. From the moment I walked in, the staff were friendly, welcoming, and somehow already knew exactly where my to go order was, which felt like a small but impressive win. The restaurant was spotless and the parking lot deserves its own shout out. It was a decent size and easily handled my honkin big truck without any awkward maneuvering or silent prayers. That alone earns points. Now let us talk about the food, because wow. Everything was made exactly how I ordered it and tasted incredible. I went with three tacos and each one brought something different to the party. The daily special curry chicken taco was bold and flavorful in the best way. The OG with grilled chicken was classic and perfectly executed. The steak and queso was rich, savory, and downright dangerous in how fast it disappeared. The flavor profiles were spot on across the board and each taco held its own. Ordering online was quick and painless, which made the whole experience even smoother. Between the great food, friendly staff, clean space, and easy ordering, Strange Taco Bar absolutely nailed it. I will definitely go back and will continue to regret not trying them sooner.

Always a reliable preshow establishment befor a show at the Aurora! Quick service, delicious food and a chill vibe. Seating is inside or outside depending on the weather. Will be back before my next show!

Food was good 4/5. Service was fast, place was clean and nice setting. One thing sucked, the Guacamole was not good, the chips were nice and hot. Also the Nashville Hot chicken was not hot at all it was only honey sauce on it, what happened to the spice? I would return though, good cheap eats.

Came here for a quick bite and was not disappointed. The chips and queso were average, but the tacos were on point. I particularly liked the mushroom taco, although the buffalo taco was not bad either, but not as unique. Basically tasted like a buffalo chicken wrap you'd get at any sports bar. Service is standard fast casual. Inside there's a little spunk in the decor, but it basically feels like a fast casual place.

Love love love love this place! I came here on Taco Tuesday and loved the kind service and the easy sitting and menu. This place is very chill and easy going. The margaritas were just okay, but a great addition to the tacos. The tacos were definitely the STAR OF THE SHOW. My favorite was the taco Al pastor, the pineapple was the perfect addition to the taco and the shrimp taco was amazing. I was pleasantly surprised on the tastiness of the tacos with it only being $3. 10000/10

This place has been on my radar and I'm so glad I finally got a chance to try it! This is very similar in aesthetic to Velvet Taco so if you're a fan of non-authentic tacos you'd really enjoy this place. There is such a wide range of taco options ranging for pescatarian, vegetarian, and even some vegan options which is very commendable for a business. They're solid options too, not just bland boring options. Portabella Mushrooms 7/10 -- decided to try a veggie taco bc the description was just that enticing. I actually really enjoyed the taco and I loved the goat cheese edition. I could actually see myself trying this meatless option. Coconut Shrimp 8/10 -- cannot go wrong with a coconut shrimp option! The pineapples and sauce complimented the taco very well! Southern Pork 9/10 -- this was hands down my favorite taco! Perfect combination of sweet and spicy! Ordered a strawberry frozen margarita. Not strong at all but it was still pretty good to sip on, especially for $8. I think next time I come I'm going to try their 9% canned vodka for the same price.

Quick service. Great tacos. Strong, yummy margaritas. Cute little place with enough seating to eat in.

This is one of my favorite Taco Tuesday spots! $2 tacos are a hit! The OG Taco is my go to order.

Been by this place so many times and didn't realize it was even there. I finally decided to check it out. Like the name implies they have some unusual tacos. I had the Buffalo chicken, steak and cheese, and fried green tomatoes tacos. I also ordered the chips and queso. Overall everything was tasty. I will say of the 3, my favorite was the steak and cheese. The chips and queso is a huge portion. Seating is a mix of indoor and outdoor, not a lot of either though. Parking is a bit limited too as it shares a very small parking lot with foggy bottom.

My new fave taco spot! I've been twice since discovering this gem, and both experiences have been great! Tacos and margaritas were delish, and the service was good. Indoor and outdoor seating available, very chill!

I ordered about 5 tacos for a corporate lunch about 20 minutes from our office. Unfortunately we had a very unpleasant experience this time. The food we received was burnt and overcooked, as seen in the pictures below. One order of tacos was actually a quesadilla instead. When we proceeded to call the restaurant to inform them they insisted that we drive 20 minutes back with the burnt food and the receipt in order to receive compensation, however due to the distance from us that was impossible for us to do and they could not provide us any other alternatives. The manger we spoke to was also very rude and unapologetic of actions and proceeded to encourage us to dispute the charge via our own bank accounts. Very unpleasant and rude staff which was disappointing considering we order from here multiple times. Would not recommend for corporate lunches and was disappointed in the lack of empathy or apologetic manner from the entire staff.

I was good with just the salsa that came with the chips. I ordered a flan to go and I would give that a six out of 10. I don't ever have to have that again. The bathrooms were clean and really smelled nice. Whatever air freshener they are using in the women's bathroom is a 10 out of 10. Parking here is free and is first come first serve. There is a lower parking area available if the top level is full. The parking lot is shared with other restaurants and businesses in the same complex. I would definitely come back here to try something else recommended by the staff.

There were lots of tomatoes, peppers and onions which was nice for flavor, but there were so many that there weren't many "curds" of scrambled eggs if that makes sense.
