Took my Honda Civic in for a full interior detailing, mainly focusing on my stained cloth seats. Joseph was quick to respond to my inquiries and was able to give me an affordable estimate right away. I initially brought my car to his location and he was quick and providing updates at the halfway mark and as he was finishing up. Do not use this auto detailing service. He is unprofessional and needs to learn how to run his business. I messaged him on Yelp to make an appointment for Friday 10am. He says yes see you then. I wake up Friday to get my car ready for the appointment and I see a text I received at 2:30am asking to confirm the appointment. I text back at 10am because that's when I checked my phone. He responds that he won't be able to come because I didn't confirm. Not once did he mention that I needed to confirm by text. And who in their right mind sends a confirmation text at 2:30am in the morning when people are sleeping? I cleared out my morning for this, because as you can see through our messages he says see you on Friday. I tell him straight up that this is a ridiculous situation and instead of trying to resolve the issue, his attitude is basically "so what do you want me to do about it?" You're the business owner, you take responsibility for any mishaps or miscommunication that YOU cause. I think this a terrible business, and hope no one uses this person in the future. read more

Before leaving this review I was really trying to rack my brain for one good thing I could say about this kid. Unfortunately nothing came to mind, hense the 1 star review. So I make a project for my interior detail and exterior car wash needs and this guy is quick to respond and has great reviews and seemed about half the price of other quotes, decided to give his services a try. We schedule the time and day and I tell him to text as I don't usually get updates here, day of he sends a text 15 before meet up time asking if still on, yes we are, he says ok I will be on my way. He arrives 45 minutes late to the appointment. When he shows up, no apology for wasting my time, ok, and I proceed to tell him I'd like an interior detail as mentioned previously and show him my concern areas, and he says no problem, I then say I'd like an external basic wash as stated in my request and he's surprised and did not know. Ok. So he gets to work, takes about 20 minutes to actually get started and set up, and after 2 hours says he is done. Upon returning the car looks pretty good at first glance, and then I start noticing spots, streaks and countless areas where it seems he did not even touch. I asked for an interior detail, my steering wheel still had debris in it like he never even touched it, dust and spots all over my console, coffee marks that I paid him to clean still in place untouched. He did a decent job on the doors, which were already clean to begin with, he did not even vacuum under my floor mats. My back window is smudged up completely, streaks on every window, did not wash side mirrors, and to top it off, I come out and my rims are filthy! I say didn't I ask for the exterior wash? He tells me oh that's not included, wait what? How are rims not exterior of the car? He then cleans the rims with a rag in 3 minutes tops and then tells me the total I owe him, lol. Lastly, he then drives off without giving me back my key fob and I have to call him to have him come back!!Wow!His Mr.Know it all half-ass approached to "detailing" cars is surely going to ruin his "business" plans, and I promise to never recommend or hire this kid again. I had to re-detail my entire car after I paid 120 dollars to have it cleaned by this guy. Oh well now I know you really do get what you pay for in this car cleaning industry, please save your money , go elsewhere and or do it yourself, you will be happy you did! read more

My car has been really dull and dirty since i left the country for a month while the car collected dust, and i usually go to the car wash in Burbank, but they never seemed to get it very clean, they always left dirt and dust in the crevasses even when i chose the most expensive package. Im planning on selling my car and i wanted it to be shiny and as clean as possible to take pictures on the inside, and thats when my friend Anna told me about Straw hat auto detailing. It was super easy to get in contact with Joseph, and he gave me a good deal and gave me an appointment right away! It was only joseph working on the car which i was very surprised about, but i was presently surprised about the way my car looked! The car wash in Burbank had multiple men working on my car and couldn't even get it fully clean, but Joseph worked on my car for about an hour or two and it was almost exactly how it looked when i first bought the car!
