The "We Don't Do Sales" Mall…read more Yesterday was Mother Daughter Day and after not seeing my mother for over 30 days I wanted to give her a proper Tampa day. The bay, the walkways, some shopping, and a stop at Columbia Restaurant which honestly was not good. Then we went to International Plaza and Bay Street thinking we would do what we always do. Browse, hunt, and find something great on sale. That is how WE shop. We walked into Altar'd State and asked where the sale section was. We were told they do not do sales there. Not even a small rack in the back. .. thought maybe it's just that store Then we went into Dillard's and asked the same question. The woman looked us up and down like we had three heads and gave us the same answer. Finally I made the realization . . This mall is built for people who pay full price and do not question it. To be fair, it is beautiful. Clean, polished, very well put together. A strong mix of stores and a surprising number of high end brands. Completely different than what I expected and it threw me off my game. But there is no thrill here. No hunt. No digging. No moment where you find that one piece that makes the whole trip worth it. Have fun shopping at full price here. I am not one of those people. I do not pay full retail ever and I am not starting now. And I know plenty of wealthy people who can afford to pay full price and they will not do it either. They know better.

It's been a while since I've been here and they definitely have a wide variety of stores. We did stop by and see the Easter bunny. The staff was super nice. They were doing a little dances and keeping the kids entertained. Also, we did find the coffee shop called E bar near Nordstrom. Which was pretty good actually. For lunch, we did stop at the food court, but I wouldn't eat there again. The food was terrible at wok o holic. There is better food outside the food court.

The layout is easy to navigate, with a good balance of big name retailers and smaller shops throughout. Everything feels organized and convenient, so you're not constantly wandering around trying to figure out where things are. The food court is another solid highlight, offering a variety of quick and casual options. It's a great place to take a break during a shopping trip, grab a bite, and recharge before heading back out. Overall, Countryside Mall is a dependable and comfortable place to shop, eat, and hang out. It delivers a consistently good experience and is one of the better all-around malls in the Clearwater area definitely a five-star spot.

They have your typical mall stores along with the typical food court. It's not an upscale mall with upscale stores! If you're looking for upscale stores I suggest going to Tampa International Mall. The anchor stores are JC Penny, Macys and Dillards. I ran into Dillards to pick something up and Dillards was nice. The one thing I found interesting was that they had a full size ice skating rink in this mall. It seemed busy with lots of kids skating. In addition to the food court, there are several restaurants located here. Cheesecake Factory, PF Chang's, Red Robin, BJ's Restaurant & Brewhouse. Parking was easy enough when I went.

My friend and I stopped in around 12:30pm on the Sunday of Memorial Day weekend. The bar was full, but there was plenty of courtyard seating. We opted for a pierogi order from Spoons and a Poke Rose bowl from Huli Bowl. Both were great hits, however I would like to see more cold plates available - they had pasta, pizza, pierogis, vegan burgers, nachos, crab cakes, etc. but the only cold plate I could find to beat the heat on this Sunday was the poke bowl and vegan milkshakes. A salad, a charcuterie board, a cold soup, anything just not hot would be great to include since this is an open air food hall in Florida after all. We also tried the Empress Rose and the Amethyst cocktails; total opposites in flavor profile, with the Empress being incredibly sweet and pungent, while the Amethyst was floral and earthy. The contrast was jolting; I don't recommend splitting these drinks or going back to back with them, but on their own they were quite good! We would've loved to sit at the carousel bar, but unfortunately two seats never opened up together while we were there from 12:30-2ish. We still got quite close with the high tops though. Parking is extremely limited, but we got lucky and found a spot right behind the building. Take advantage of nearby free parking lots and garages, just expect to walk a bit.

The California roll and Mexican rolls were tasty and fresh, and we enjoyed trying something new from their prepared foods section. The only downside was the bathrooms, which definitely needed attention. With how busy and lively the store is, better upkeep there would make the experience even stronger. Overall, a really enjoyable visit with lots of interesting finds. We'll definitely be back to explore more.

Ben is always on the lookout for new varieties of ramen so we try to check out as many as possible. Walking in, you could tell the place was pretty big so we started on one side and made our way around. They have a fresh food or hot food area, drinks seafood, proteins, produce, ect. Ben got super excited when he was walking down the beverage aisle that on one side had beers and saki, but also on the other side there were drinks that he recognized from when he spent two weeks in Seoul. Like super excited. He snapped a picture to send to his friend that he was there with and then picked up a flavor he said he drink nonstop while there. When we reached the ramen aisle, he took his time to look at all the different brands and flavors to see what he had tried before. Or what was new to him or just simply new flavors by companies he already liked. This is definitely something that he loves, and I just try to indulge him with. He mentioned that the prices were cheaper than other locations so I can see that in our future , we will be visiting here more often.
