Green table serves hot dogs, burgers, & milkshakes

Dunedin Mix is a new mini food hall in Dunedin, FL. One word can describe this very well LOUD. Hoping that on a week day this may be an ideal spot to catch up with friends. The two main eye grabbers here are the carousel bar which is a reminder of the carousel bar at Hotel Monteleone in New Orleans. In addition, they continue that theme with the front entrance with the Fleur de lis. Parking on site is lacking and don't even thinking of parking next door at the apartment for a minute bc they flip out even for a minute. You can walk in by the back parking lot or the front where the street is. By the back is where the carousel bar is. They have four food vendors here and a boutique and another business as well. Upstairs they have some seating and also private event space. They had a singer when I was there. And it sounds altogether like a cafeteria since the ceilings are high and sound travels I ordered food from Huli bowl - A poke nachos and a huli chicken bowl which was ok. They also have a tapas vendor? Italian vendor, and burger, hot dog, milk shake vendor. One thing to point out on the receipt is a Venue Fee of 3.99%. It's automatically tacked on there and there's a description on the receipt posted of what it's for - elevated Parisian Courtyard experience and entertainment. Don't know if this is a charge that can be taken. I'll be sure to ask next time. It's a nice concept here in Dunedin, and it's sure to hang out drink and have some small snacks but really not a date night spot unless you really don't want to talk to your date. I may be back in the future and see how it is on a week day.

Food was great the concept was good also. The crowd was vey minimal which is good because seating is a little limited. There only 2 shops you can purchase food from. They have a main bar at the entrance and a small boutique. The location does have very limited parking spaces so you would have to find parking down the street or public parking lot and walk to the location. I really like the concept of but it's just too limited with parking, seating areas and food options (although what they have there now has delish food)! Maybe this is a spot to start off the weekend before enjoying the rest of DT Dunedin.

Popped in on the Grand Opening weekend and loved every bit of this unique dining and carousel bar venue! Despite being their grand opening where you would expect some minor missteps, everything was en point! Outstanding service at the Carousel Bar, ambience was beautiful and I can see us returning for sure! While being off Main St, don't let this deter you! Short walk from Main St, easy to get to, parking went well and there are other eateries as well as a microbrewery nearby. Mixologist Ryan even took a little extra time, despite being so busy to make me a custom cocktail when he found out I was allergic to citrus. Ryan is awesome! Loved the New Orleans flair! Very unique concept that is a must visit.

Checked out Dunedin Mix and it's super cute inside. I love the style of the place. There are a few good options for food, but not an over abundance of choices. I chose to eat at Spoons and it was good. The bar area is really cool. Got lucky with parking in the back because it was a slow Sunday.

Neat little place with several food truck style windows. Seemed to be only one bar, and the bartenders could use some help in congeniality. We stood around for a while without even being acknowledged, as did several others. Bartenders acted like it was the end of their shift and they were just tired of people. Well prob come back and try this place again, hope things improve as we left without even being able to get a drink (and they weren't THAT busy). Cool building and concept, with live music and seating downstairs as well as the upper area around the courtyard.

    Best local drinks!

Best drinks while you sit at a rotating carrousel bar! New place must visit! It's busy and great place to start out when visiting Dunedin!

TWENTY-FIVE DOLLARS and FOURTY ONE CENTS for 2 Hotdogs!!
    Mike V.

$25.41 for 2 Hotdogs !!?? Yeah that's right (see receipt). The biggest ripoff in the County. A joke of a "Chicago dog" on top of it. TWENTY-FIVE DOLLARS FOR 2 DOGS. I feel sorry for these people. A Chicago hotdog is not grilled and split. It has mustard (which incredibly you have to pay extra for!!) the sport peppers where chopped and they put RED onions on it (should be white). This abomination of a Chicago dog was a disgrace and the worst part was the cost. Absolutely horrendous. Needless to say I don't think this place will make it. Try the Ozona Brewery for real authentic Chicago Hotdog.

To start, go here for the drinks. They were all fantastic. Second, go here for the pizza. It's great. Third, go here for the vibe, great crowd, great staff, great vibe. Truly enjoyed myself.

LOVE LOVE LOVE the carousel bar!!!! went for sunday mimosa brunch, I had a few delicious mimosas crafted by Mark and Byrd who were awesome bartenders btw. The reason I didnt give this place a 5 star is simply the vendors were not open until 11am, which delayed our time for bottomless mimosa hours since we needed to show prove of receipt in order to unlock the perk. Overall, very satisfied with the place, great atmosphere, people were very friendly.

First, let's start with the parking. We went on a Saturday night and it took me 20 minutes to find parking nearby as there is no parking lot. I met a friend and we both usually drink a Sauvignon Blanc. This wine was $16 per glass. We waited a good 30 minutes for the wine to arrive after ordering. There are food stalls to order from. we both ended up ordering from the Italian one. I ordered a mushroom ravioli with a mushroom truffle sauce and it was $25. For that I had to take a pager to the table and go back and pick up the food when ready. Plastic utensils were provided.. the pasta was disappointing, especially for the price! There were a few children there, and there was entertainment. It was loud, chaotic and terrible. I will never go back

    Rob C.

The drinks were decent and the food was good. The construction and finish work was rushed. It wouldn't take much to bring that up a notch. However, the big let-down was a service fee added to the final bill. WTF! Nowhere on the menu or website did it disclose an additional fee would be added to your bill for what they are calling a "Venue" fee. There was no live music or anything we were entertained by whatsoever. Passing the cost of doing business to your customers is absurd. Not only will I not go back I'll go out of my way to let others not go as well.

    Don't get the pizza...
    Ellen C.

Good vibes and good drinks....there is a variety of food options. We got the pizza and it was a soupy mess....next time I'm ordering from one of the other food options

It has a well manicured 18 hole golf course, nine more holes (27 total) gym, two pools, tennis courts and all that. It also has a clubhouse which is the focus of my review. First off, this is the ugliest clubhouse I've ever entered. Think Little Rascals He Man Woman Hater's Club if you're that much into club houses. Ugly brown crown molding, ratty carpeting, ugly beige walls and exposed wood ceilings. The lobby looks like a mausoleum too. After the ceremony in a non cool room (idiots turned on the heat by mistake), we were sent into the reception area, which was the south room and adjoining spaces. At least they actually had on the AC in here. Open bar and passed canapés as one would expect. Some of these canapés including bacon wrapped scallops stand out because they were AWFUL!! I almost spit out the spinach pie; I should've known better when I saw them drizzled with heaven knows what. Scallops over cooked and lousy...at least there was an open bar. After two dark rum and colas, I even had enough of that; cheap lo-rent swill. Salad was simple mixed greens with a slice of cuke, some red onion and a couple of CHILLED cherry tomatoes. Well, there was the next sign that the kitchen doesn't know what it's doing. Tomatoes are supposed to be room temperature; period. Dressing stop said salad was nondescript. For entrees the Queen Bee had crab stuffed grouper and I had filet mignon. Filet was bland but had a halfway decent demiglaze with it. Queen Bee didn't care for her grouper. Everyone else at the table seemed more or less okay with it. To be fair, I didn't try the stuff. Both entrees were accompanied by overcooked asparagus and bland rice pilaf. Blech! I'm sure the wedding party paid good money for this stuff. If this is any sign of how their dining rooms are, then kindly include me OUT of this club. I'd rather graze on the grass from the 10th fairway. The desserts you see are provided by an outside bakery so nothing to say here. Not really much worthwhile or positive to say about having a function here, either. Have it at Chuck E. Cheese or a bowling alley instead! Eh!!

We fell in love with this location on our first visit. It is a little out of the way, off Bayshore in Dunedin, but both the Chapel and the park beyond it are very easy to find with a number of brown park signs guiding the way. Jessica, our chapel contact, was super helpful and easy to reach in the weeks leading up to our wedding. The chapel has prepared diagrams and measurements of all key features so this information can be provided to other vendors. In addition, they offer a number of options for crosses, plaques and other decorative elements for the altar area. All wedding bookings include 1 hour of rehearsal time on Friday night and Jessica was on hand to help us walk through the service order and check the sound levels on our portable stereo. Our number one comment from guests was how lovely the chapel was and how much they enjoyed reading about its history in the provided pamphlets in the lead up to the service. It is a breathtaking space that needs almost no decoration. We went with minimal flower accents and were so pleased with the final look and feel of our service venue. The only drawback is that there are only two restrooms, located inside the bride's ready room. However, we provided our guests with this information up front and directions to the public restrooms located at the park entrance and, of course, were accommodating about any last minute emergencies. Breathtakingly beautiful venue, great support staff, and an amazingly low price to have such history and craftsmanship serve as the backdrop for your wedding.

This is Dunedin... it is the Scottish Gaelic name for Edinburgh, Scotland. And the sister city of Stirling, Scotland. Support your roots people! I would love to see this Society have a tent at local events like the Highland games of Dunedin. Or in the many parades in the streets of Dunedin. Mail out flyers explaining who you are and what you are about. We found very little online about the Society and they could benefit hugely from a great social media person. Anyway, support local people. Look them up online. Join their cause. Go to their events. Try something different. I am sure you live in Dunedin somewhat for it's quaintness. Embrace it.
