My super mega delicious juicy sweet cherries.
    Vania C.

Never in my 2 decades plus a year or two have I ever tasted strawberries as sweet and juicy. This place has the crowned fruit of all strawberries in fruitland. Not only are the strawberries the best in the world, the cherries were out of this world. Compare to supermarkets, the prices were super reasonable. For $10, I was able to get enough cherries that would've cost me well over $20 at a supermarket AND at 10x the quality (each basket was $5). I think I'll be eating the cherries after every meal of the day for the next week to finish the amount I got. The place itself is a bit run down but this stand has be around for years! They're super friendly there and very informatives about any questions you might have. I don't think I can ever eat supermarket strawberries and cherries after these ones. Final Thoughts: I'm so glad I drove over an hour just to get some fruit. Literally the best... I can't say it enough.

    Yum !!!

When in season these are the absolute best strawberries in Lodi, and I buy from all of the stands!

Very unassuming from the outside but inside the gate it is giving secret garden in the best way. #3 the woman working at the counter was probably the genuinely nicest person I've ever met. She was attentive and kind and communicated that they were busy so it might be a little wait for food. I honestly didn't care how long of a wait it was - it was very peaceful so just hanging out was enjoyable. #4 I ordered a Chicharron pupusa, Tostilocos and a lemonade. They both had great flavor and the pupusas weren't super greasy. I wish I ordered two instead of one. It's a small space with just a few small tables scattered around with some seats. But being in a hearty gives it this lush and semi-private ambiance. I will DEFINITELY be back.

As soon as we walked in, we were warmly greeted by a staff member who was helping another customer choose salsa. She still took the time to welcome us and help me place my order, which made the experience feel so personal and inviting. I ordered two chicharrones, a mixed pupusa, a mango agua fresca, and chips with salsa. While ordering, she mentioned they go through over 200 salsa recipes, again, WOW. You can truly tell how much passion and care goes into this place. There were locals coming in who clearly knew her by name, which made the atmosphere feel even more special and community-oriented. Our food took about 15 minutes because everything was made incredibly fresh, so we spent the time walking around the nursery and discovering so many unique and beautiful items. Once our food was ready, we were beyond pleased. Everything was cooked perfectly, flavorful, fresh, and satisfying without feeling too heavy. This place has such a warm, authentic charm, and I already can't wait to come back!

The line was considerably long around 7:30 p.m. so it took a while for us to order and receive our food. I like that the tacos here are single tortilla -- as opposed to double tortillas, so the filling to tortilla ratio feels a lot more balanced. For both tacos, the meat is incredibly tender and flavorful. Although a bunch of sauces and garnishes are provided, the taco was good enough on its own. Of the sauces we received, my favorites to add was a squeeze of lime and the red sauce, which had a nice smokey Chipotle flavor and wasn't overly spicy. My friend ordered a quesadilla and it was absolutely massive! I definitely would only recommending ordering a quesadilla if you're sharing it, or if you're coming with a massive appetite. Overall, Tacos El Sazón Oaxaqueño was a nice gem we randomly stumbled upon while routing to In-N-Out for burgers. Between the two, I would certainly save my stomach space for tacos from Tacos El Sazón Oaxaqueño next time.

One thing that caught me off guard is that there are no prices posted anywhere. They simply tell you your total at the end, and in my experience, the prices are higher than I expected. To help others, here's what I was charged: Aguas frescas (Horchata, Strawberry Horchata, Piña, Jamaica): $7 each Burrito: $18 Mulita: $9 each Torta: $13 Huarache: $16 The food itself is very good, especially when they're not busy. When it's slower, the portions are generous and everything seems to be made with more care. During the rush, though, I've noticed the portions get smaller and the food feels a little rushed, which is disappointing considering the prices. One of my favorite things is the salsa bar. They have a great variety of salsas and toppings, including cucumbers, pickled cabbage, and other fresh additions, and you can help yourself. They also had four different aguas frescas available when I visited: Horchata, Strawberry Horchata, Piña, and Jamaica, which was a nice selection. I do think the customer service could be improved. A little more friendliness and better communication, especially about pricing, would make a big difference. Overall, the food is tasty and they offer a great selection, but I'd really like to see prices posted and more consistency with portions, especially during busy hours. Hopefully this review helps anyone wondering what to expect before ordering.
