Went in for a quick coffee break a few weeks ago, a good place with some ambience. Must be good during thw winter time but just writing my review. Not a lot of conversation with the staff even if not busy but an okay place for meetings or meetups.
Met a friend here for coffee. I ordered my usual latte. Hit the spot! I saw some interesting drinks being made; I will be more adventurous next time. Very helpful staff and cozy seating available inside and out. Highly recommend!!
02/01/2026 I've now been to all three Light Heart locations! Never thought I'd drive all the way out to DC Ranch, but I was already going to be in north Scottsdale, so I might as well drive a little further to try their collab drink with Pinch (a medical skincare company), available through February 16th. I didn't make any changes to the drink, got it with the default whole milk. Unfortunately, the Cherry Almond Matcha was a miss for me. It tasted very artificial. Keep in mind that on Sundays, all locations don't open until 11AM, so expect there to be a long line even before they open. I got there at 10:52AM, and there were already about 15 or so people in line. The good thing is the line to order and to pick up your drink moved rather quickly. The space is relatively small with a simple and classy aesthetic. It's located in the corner of a shopping plaza next to Safeway and other businesses and restaurants. The parking lot was full, and the layout of the plaza seemed really cramped. I'm still glad I came out to try the drink, otherwise I'd keep wondering and feel like I was missing out!
Super cute coffee spot! I was looking for a place to get some work done and my mom recommended Light Heart in DC ranch. The interior is so beautiful, light and airy just like the name! The staff working was just as sweet and suggested the cobbler latte, one of their best sellers. The latte is sweetened with house made cobbler sauce that is absolutely delicious. I got it with coffee, but definitely want to go back and try it with matcha! The berry flavors compliment the espresso so nicely. It was a great drink! I came back a few days later and tried an iced vanilla latte with cold foam (my go-to) and it was sooo good. the vanilla is not to sweet - just the perfect amount! This place is a winner! I will definitely be back.

4.5 stars Tried out the Light Heart Coffee Shop for the first time. It was a cute minimalistic coffee shop. I ordered the North Shore and it was a nice subtle peppermint vanilla latte, I think the peppermint however would go better with a mocha. It was still good. We also got a few pastries which were good as well. The pop-tart was sweet but not too sweet and the morning bun bagel pastry with green chile cream cheese was very good.

The staff is so friendly- shoutout to Buster and Maddie they were so nice and got my order out quick! The Burberry cobbler matcha was DIVINE. Very happy for the success of the owners . Super cute location with a cute aesteitc. We stopped by on Saturday and there were several people there. The baristas quickly greeted us as we walked in and they were ready to take our orders. We all ordered off the seasonal fall menu and ordered: One iced banana pancake latte One iced chocolate muffin chai One iced pecan pie latte I ordered the pancake latte and it was delicious. It wasn't too strong and not too sweet. I could faintly taste the maple pancake flavoring which was good. My niece enjoyed her chocolate chip muffin chai and said she would order it again. My sister ordered the pecan pie latte and she only wished she could taste the pecan more. Service was great, drinks were made quick, and staff was friendly. Cant wait for them to open up in Gilbert!

I got one of their most popular drinks, the berry cobbler latte. It tasted exactly like a blueberry muffin. It was a bit sweet for me, so I'd probably get it half sweet next time. That said, I'd probably try other flavors as blueberry isn't my favorite. The latte was really creamy though, and consistency is everything for me when it comes to coffee drinks. The service was good, but none of the staff was overly friendly like I'm used to at other local coffee shops.
The owners of this coffee shop are super sweet and super cute their little baby Clark is so adorable and going to be a great barista I just know it I love their variety of drinks and how they change it up each season with unique combinations and flavorful beautiful drinks. This is definitely the Instagram coffee shop! Their espresso is from Moxie coffee which means you will never be disappointed by the coffee Pastries are always tasty but because of my work schedule by the time I get in there they are limited. I have never been disappointed by the service or quality of beverages at either location. Just beware they are always busy so expect a wait
Their matcha is incredible and made fresh to order using traditional preparation methods with a bamboo whisk and ceramic bowl. It feels intentional, high quality, and honestly makes the whole experience more special. My current obsession is their summer menu -- especially the Orange Cream "Push Pop" Matcha, which I may now be addicted to

My new favorite coffee shop! Light Heart Coffee serves up some of the best coffee and matcha around. The service is always super friendly here. It really feels like a great community gathering space. I love their patio, it has quite a bit of room with tables and chairs which is great! I definitely recommend checking out Light Heart Coffee! I absolutely love the Berry Cobbler Matcha or espresso, so good!

I'm feeling conflicted after visiting Light Heart Coffee's Market Street location in North Scottsdale. After having such a nice experience at the Gilbert shop, I was really excited to try this one. Unfortunately, the welcome here felt cold and unfriendly, and I was left feeling more like a bother than a customer. Based on the service alone, I'd honestly give it 2 stars. That said, the drinks and food were definitely the highlight. My latte was excellent -- smooth, rich, and well made and had a pretty heart design. My friend really enjoyed her iced berry cobbler drink. I also had a chocolate chip cookie that was chewy, ooey-gooey, and absolutely delicious. I'd come back for the quality of the coffee and treats, but next time I'll probably stick to the Gilbert location where the atmosphere felt much more welcoming. read more

Great matcha! I loved the "go bananas"! The servers were friendly and they were quick to help during a rush of people even when there were only two baristas working! Cute shop - I'll be back! Nice to have a coffee shop like this in the DC Ranch area! read more
Having a location this close to me is dangerous...I fear I will be here everyday. This location is bigger and has a nice outdoor patio area to hangout in. Love the vibes! Service was wonderful and my matcha was excellent. I am addicted!! read more

I knew this place has to be good when I walked up and there was a line out the door. I was craving a good matcha and read online that Light Heart's tea was on many must try blogs. Trust me, the line was worth the wait because their Strawberry Matcha was out of this world! The ambiance and overall vibe of the place is so calm and chill-the perfect place to study or catch up with a friend. Proves were fair and there was plenty of seating. Bonus-theit staff are super friendly and speedy with service, without sacrificing quality. read more
Came here while visiting from California! Super cute cafe with lots of cool special drink options. I got the Berry Cobbler with matcha and it was so good. Definitely one of the better matchas I've had in Arizona. I'll definitely be back the next time I'm in Scottsdale! read more

Such a cute coffee shop! Very central location around lots of other shops. Great for coffee before the grocery store, a study session, or coffee with a friend. The breakfast burrito was great and good potion size. The coffees are great, they layer their lattes when they make them so they look very appealing. We were helped quickly and the employees were very kind and kept calm even when they were busy. Allowing for a very inviting and calm atmosphere. There is a patio outside as well for additional seating, with umbrellas. read more

This shop is so cute. From the road, you would not see all of the great shops that exist here. This is a fantastic place to hang out or work from, there is outdoor and indoor seating. I will say that I like their original location more, as it feels more homey. The pastries were much sweeter here, and the drinks were more bitter than I expected them to be. read more
Was so excited for a matcha place to open I'll so close to home. To start there was a pretty long line but it moved fairly quickly. Has few tables inside and outside. Really clean and staff is friendly and helpful. I got the banana pancake matcha with almond milk. It was so great, loved the flavor. My daughter got a plain matcha with almond milk and foam on top. Modern coffee shop with modern disposable cups. The Berry Cobbler with espresso was good, but with matcha it might even be better. I really liked the Go Bananas with espresso and with the banana cream cold foam the best. You have to request the banana cream cold foam, it's not automatically included. Quick service for your espresso or matcha needs to go. Line can be out the door, but it's worth the wait. read more

As someone that lives in the area. I think this place attracted a lot of people from nearby/nearby towns because of the aesthetic. This coffee shop however, is probably the best one in North Scottsdale. The owners are very nice, but I think there's a lot of improvement needed. Consistency is key when finding a perfect coffee shop. I have been here frequently because it's so close to me and each time my latte tasted different. Be prepared if coming around a holiday. Line was out the door but wasn't terrible. Overall, I gave 3 stars because a lot of improvement is needed. Coffee is decent enough. read more
I ordered the banana matcha latte with banana cream cold foam and oat milk, and it did not disappoint. Make sure to give it a good mix when you get your order, it was amazing. I watched the matcha being prepared with diligence and proficiency. I also ordered a raspberry prickly pear pop tart. It was good but very sweet. The service was great and the coffee shop was adorable. Service was quick and efficient despite the line. read more

Best coffee shop in North Scottsdale! I ordered a fresh pour over from their xBloom and it was amazing. Their berry matcha is also unreal. Super chill island vibes inside and an exceptional playlist. I absolutely love Light Heart!! Definitely the place to go for a matcha or coffee! The vibes are great as are the drinks! They're also super quick so even when the line is long I know I'll make it where I need to go in time. I normally get the Berry Cobbler Matcha but pictured is the Ube Matcha. The DC ranch location also has an amazing patio! read more

I tried this place for the first time four days ago and have been back every day since. The line is long so be prepared for that, but for good reason! Amazing vibes and super friendly staff. Fruit matchas are all 10/10! read more
