The store has been rearrange no shelves in the way. It looks more spacious. There is a variety of clothing here for men, woman, kids and teens, all sorts of people. Household items, accessories for various occasions. Dresses for anything u can think of. I saw a wedding dress and I wondered if it worked out for that person? On top of the clothing racks are shoes. This really motivated me to declutter and clean out my closet. They always have color tag deals. I've recently found some purses for a really great deal including an egg poacher. The staff is really nice, maybe because i am there all the tims now. It's not the cleanest, but there are always treasures if you look hard enough.

My $50 did not go far there. Haha. However, it did go far at Valley Veterans Thrift. They are right next to Emerald Thrift Store. They seem small from the outside, but as you walk in, they are extremely big. Not only that, they are very clean and organized. They do have some nice items and i scored a Lee Sands Eel skin purse and little mini bucket bag for only $10 altogether so my $50 budget went far here. They do have Coach, Michael Kors and other items. I saw a Coach Poppy bag (my least favorite style out of coach) for $25, but it was not worth it due to ink stains. I'm on the search for Vintage- not Y2K, but Vintage Vintage Coach bags, but i love all bags. I know when a bag is genuine leather by touch. Definitely a thrift store to check out.

They asked me how I was doing and if I needed help finding anything. The music was all good vibes... they had a lot of old records and cds and video cassettes... it brought back that nastañgic feeling. I really liked the area this store was in... there was plenty of parking. Overall it was just a really nice experience. It's not a very big store but they had a lot of good stuff in there. They accept donations in the back of the store. I've got some things I will be taking this week. Can't wait to see what else they get.

Recently, I got called out for calling out a business on a portion of food. The thing about me is…read morethat while I may not always have the perfect delivery, I will always tell the truth. Everyone who knows me very well will always tell you the type of person I am so my experiences at places as a consumer will always reflect my own experience and not anyone else's. Am I an expert at thrifting? No, but i did do community service at DAV on McKinley and first for a month in 2009 when I couldn't afford to pay off a speeding ticket. I found a .25 Burberry polo shirt there. Am I an expert on food? No, but I have worked at chains where I managed & put away truck inventories, dealt with vendors, cooked, closed, opened, handled, cooked and prepped raw and packaged food, filtered oils and followed food safety protocol. I also dealt with customer complaints all the way from I'm missing an item to your employees are smoking mj in the parking lot. So when, I am reviewing a place, it's not personal, it's just my personal experience. So for this thrift store, it is a newer store. I love their 50% off on Thursdays. Their parking situation is in the back and I think that is better because it makes it safer than having an entrance face Blackstone. That was smart of them. They are pretty organized and I did some hunting, but did leave with a bag of things the first time i was there, puma sweats, adidas track pants, tommy hilfiger tee, old navy overall shorts. I got a Cuyana bag for 50% off my second time there. The 3rd time I was there, I actually got found a Longchamp bag for basically $4. It did have holes which i plan to sew.
