Our order was a crab dip, 3 sweet and sour chicken and a pepperoni pizza. Sweet and sour chicken came out 7 minutes before the pizza. Chicken was dry since they fried it ahead of time and kept under a heat lamp. Pizza was fine. Heavy olive oil taste. The worst part of the whole experience occurs when you pay. The waitress swipes your card at the table. Tells you it "automatically chooses 20% tip but you can enter a custom amount" then stands there over your shoulder watching your tip. 4 people $87. WORSE CUSTOMER SERVICE EEVEEEEEEEEER! Since when do you go to a restaurant and wait a whole freaking 45 minutes to an hour for food AFTER already knowing what you want including appetizers. Now remind you appetizers come BEFORE the meal..well wtbs ours came after only ONE of the TWO meals we ordered. So to make a long story short I NEVER got my meal and we still had to pay with the fact that we couldn't even get to talk to a manager..we were told NO and couldn't get any comps. Do not recommend this restaurant. Took three friends to eat there a few days ago. The gumbo was horrible. We ordered the crawfish dip, the dip was good but the ports rinds we're so hard we could not eat them. One friend ordered the chicken that was grilled and after we got our food and we're almost finished waitress came to her and said it did not come out the right way can you order something else. She ordered the fish plate with vegetables and french fries. When it came they forgot the vegetables and gave her a big potato instead. By this time we were finished with our food and she just boxed it up. This was my second attempt eating here. The first timeWas when it first opened. At that time I got the Mandarin chicken which had no taste and the chicken was raw in the middle. I really wanted to like this place but I don't think I will be back. read more

I went to the Streetside Market yesterday. The service was good the little guy who waited on us was new but he did a really good job! Now for the food I had a roast beef po-boy that was a little on the salty side but overall delicious! For desert we had beignets from Morning Call, with which I was extremely disappointed!! I grew up eating Morning Call beignets in Metairie and I'm here to say they were NOTHING like the original!! They were doughy and almost uncooked in the middle and they tased like yeast, YUCK!! I was soooo looking forward to Morning Call and I can't believe this place is going to ruin their reputation!!!! Someone from the original place needs to go there and show them how it's done or I won't be going back, that's for sure!! I'm willing to give them another chance because they're new but if the beignets are anything like what they were yesterday, forget it! read more

The food was very mediocre. There are multiple different options which makes each option a lot worse because they don't specialize in one certain food. It took over 30 minutes for my friend and i's sushi to come out and there was close to no one there which is insanely ridiculous. we made a togo order for our friend looking on the online menu. She asked us to order kimchee (which is on the menu for $3) and was severely overcharged with it coming out to be $10 AND IT WASNT EVEN KIMCHEE. we were given fresh cabbage that had been drenched in sriracha and spices. Not to mention that we sat there for almost another 30 mins just waiting to get the checks or even our waitresses attention. She had an attitude almost immediately after we asked to make the togo order and continued that attitude throughout the rest of our time. The street side market is an interesting concept. It has a food court layout, but with the "dine -in / server experience..hence , you sit down and order your food and they will grab for you. I was excited for my first time here. But I waited 20 Minutes before, someone cared to ask "have you been helped".. I heard, what seemed like the floor manager , excuse another table that they were not assigned a server because they made cuts...and she apologized . Wouldve been nice if she would've had the same courtesy...I hope the food is better than our first impression, of their customer service. read more

I've visited Streetside Market twice and both times enjoyed a wonderful dining experience. I've recently been diagnosed gluten intolerant and don't yet know much about what I can and can't eat. My servers have been eager to help me find something OUTSTANDING to eat. The servings (even at lunch) are large enough to take home a second meal. The recipes are creative and delicious. On my last visit, I brought two small children and appreciated how kind our server was to them. On my earlier visit, I went with two other couples and we were able to explore the extensive cocktail menu. Superb! Looking forward to my next visit. Thanks, Y'all! read more

The food was awful. Service was awful and the bar that we sat at was dirty. The only other customers at the bar received the bartenders attention. I think the bartender was too busy to give us service, or clean the bar, because she was preoccupied doing shots with the other customers at the bar. The boy manager walked around with a scowl on his face except when he was flirting with the other male waiters. The manager, with the scowl, told customers, who were leaving, "Peace, Love, and BJs", very inappropriate. read more

Part of our Waitr order was left behind at the restaurant. We called the restaurant hoping they could help since Waitr's customer service is spotty. Billy, the manager, rectified the situation immediately. He offered to send one of the restaurant's drivers with the rest of our order, knowing it would have taken Waitr double the amount of time to get us our food. Always very pleased with the food here! Today the service was very subpar. We were seated and waited about 10 minutes before we were spoken to. The manager ended up coming and taking our drink order. It took about 15 minutes for our drinks to be ran to us when we saw them sitting on the bar for a very long time. We watched our server bring our food to two other tables before realizing it was for us. It seemed as if no one really knew what they were doing. Ordered a smash burger that comes with two patties, tomatoes, lettuce onion and pickle. After waiting almost an hour altogether to pick up our food, I get home and it just had one patty and cheese. We loved the concept. 2 things we didn't like. The first is our server seemed to just look over us. We had to ask for silverware twice from 2 different people. Our waiter wasn't concerned. We eat out a lot and noticed right away he wished he was somewhere else. He brought our app. We ate them with no silverware or napkins. Once our food came he asked did we need anything and he never came back. Took forever to get our beer. We wanted another but as I said before our waiter never returned. The 2nd thing that was very disappointing to us is we ordered Asian food and a pizza. Our Asian food came out my wife and I ate and finished. No pizza for my daughter so she just sat and watched. I tried to get the attention of our waiter but he never looked our way. He was having an issue with a table next to us so I guess that was his sole focus. After at least 15 minutes waiting on the pizza I was getting up to find a manager the pizza showed up. ( if it takes 35-45 minutes to get a pizza let us know so we can stagger our order so my family can eat together) My daughter ate and finished. My son wanted an order of beignets but again our waiter never came back and he moved around so faced and never made eye contact to get his attention. So we waited on the check. No check no waiter. Finally I got up and asked a manager for our check. I'm sure they will get it together because the owners have a proven track record in the business.
