I met Alondra at Performance 360 a few months ago. I had a demo stretch does there as part of a wellness event and met up at the Stretch-U location in San Marcos I believe in September 2025 for another event and met Albert there (another demo done). Today was my official first timers stretch with Jay and a great experience (just like the previous demos). Coming off a runners knee injury it's been some work regrouping but the stretching was helping me to loosen up a little despite some cramps (which I expected) because of the movement I'm not as used too. I definitely need to continue to make some appointments (especially after the Carlsbad 5000 coming up in April) so I can stay a little more mobile and flexible. I have been a coming to StretchU since 2016 and it has proven to be an essential part of my exercise routine. Throughout my history with StretchU, one thing that impressed me was that it ran on time. Sadly, this no longer seems to be the case, at least in San Marcos. I've noticed my my sessions are now routinely 5-10 minute late. I've also noticed there are no clocks on any of the walls which leads me to question, how does the staff now when they're on time? I have gone to Stretch U in San Marcos number of time. Alondra attended to me today and it was great, she took into consideration my special concerns. I am 76 years old and I've gone to a lot of different places for physical therapy over the years, and I get more out a 40 min session at Stretch U than 5 or 6 session at regular physical therapy sessions. I have been going Stretch U for about 2+ years now and it has really helped so much! I have more flexibility and less pain in my hips, back and shoulders after my sessions. I am so happy I found them! I usually do two 40 minute sessions twice a month. If you want to give yourself an extra treat, add in the percussion tool to your stretch! Been going consistently for a couple of years. As an active person I love the deeper stretch that comes with assisted stretching. Whenever i'm in San Diego to see friends, i typically make it a point to head over to StretchU just to get myself together either after a long weekend of rowdy activities or even just to prepare myself for the drive back to Ventura County. I've had nothing but good experiences here. I've been having a lot of back & hip trouble due to a new desk job and the staff has been great with getting me sorted out. During my recent trips, i've been working with Devon more often as I don't see the other staff as much. He's been offering suggestions and stretches to do at home to kind of help me along since I don't make it out to San Marcos too often. I've made it a habit to correspond with him as I'm waiting to be eligible for a reduction surgery and he's been paramount in helping with any pain management in my back and shoulders. I'm hoping to see Stretch U open up a little closer to me but until then, i'll be frequenting San Marcos as much as I can! read more
