I didn't have any negative experiences here, this style of workout space just wasn't particularly for me. When you're a member, you have access to the studio at any time. They have a variety of workout classes in private heated rooms throughout the studio, and you book your time and the workout that you want. Different rooms had different equipment - there was a room for yoga, a room for spin, etc. They want you to purchase one of their mats for the yoga because the sauna is too hot for regular mats. You can adjust the temperature of the room to your liking. I believe each workout was 15-20 minutes long in a heated sauna room. You definitely get your sweat on, that's for sure! The rooms are small, but I believe you can technically fit up to 3 people in each one. I would personally never want to share that small of a space with someone, though. They also have some gym equipment in the back of the gym for a regular, non heated workout. I prefer group workout classes because of the energy of the room. I know several people that swear by sauna workouts, though!

Otherwise the breeze of cooler air is distracting. The pods aren't lined up very well and it's an issue with all the pods. It's a good place to supplement workouts and other fun memberships.

The moment I went in to ARRICHION Hot Yoga, I was welcomed and guided to where to go and where to keep my stuff. As you go into the yoga room, you can already feel the heat coming in. It almost felt like a sauna. When you go, remember to take a yoga mat and a towel with you to lay over the mat so you don't slip. They do have some at the location but it is a $2 rental. The classes are the best part. There are a wide variety of classes available to choose from which truly challenge you in different ways. They range from focusing on flexibility to strength to endurance to a combination of multiple! There are also excellent instructors that guide you through it all! Once class is over, you go out of the room and there are popsicles that they give you to cool off which is the most rewarding ever! After the end of every session, you feel so accomplished and have a high kick of endorphin! Ultimately, I definitely recommend Arrichion Hot Yoga as there are excellent instructors who are very helpful, outgoing, and nice. There are also a multitude of classes that are open to EVERYONE at any skill level which can be done at your own pace. It is also a very welcoming space! I can always expect to get an incredible workout and my muscles reach a burn that I cannot get anywhere else. If you have not tried Lagree before, no it is not the same as Pilates. Lagree is more challenging in my own opinion, and I have done both extensively in the last few years. I have found that doing Lagree, especially at Peak 45, has done wonders for my skiing and snowboarding, and I can lift weights much more effectively now too. It is a full-body exercise and being in a Peak 45 class with like-minded clients forces me to push myself even harder. These classes stay true to real Lagree, which really emphasizes time under tension and targets slow-twitch muscles. I have found that it is the most effective workout for me when it comes to building muscle. It is also low impact, which makes it so much easier on my joints than classic weight lifting and HIIT workouts. I can do Lagree 5-6 days a week and feel quite good-- just make sure you sleep and fuel properly. I did a lot of Peak 45 classes in this last year and I have never felt so strong. Getting assistance before class started was really important to me. The instructor, Antonia, introduced herself to several other new people but completely ignored me. I raised my hand and explained that I was new and needed help, and she responded, in front of the whole class, with a rude tone that she "didn't know I was new" because I "didn't check in with her," despite the fact that I had already checked in at the front desk and been there 15-20 early! She gave me a rushed 30-second overview of the machine, never asked if I had questions, concerns, or prior injuries, and then jumped right into the workout. Thankfully, the person next to me helped explain some of the movements. At one point, I adjusted the tension to accommodate my recovering hip, and she came over and snapped at me that it "needed to be on the red." It was so rude and dismissive. She seemed completely out of touch and uninterested in whether people felt safe, comfortable, or welcomed. Very disappointing experience all around!

Yoga and spin studio on first floor along with free weights. Spin class is world-class. Even better with view of outdoor lap pool. Great sound system. The high energy party music from spin class flows into the free weight room sometimes because it gets hotter than a swedish sauna in there. Invariably someone jams open the door during classes. Brony free weight users frown upon this this and close the spin class door which we then have to open again. Its the circle of life. Door open. Door close. Door open. Door close. Rinse. Wash. Repeat. ::: SECOND FLOOR ::: Second floor is cardio. Ample treadmills, stair steppers, etc. just lots of aerobic equipment including an female users only room as gawker prophylaxis. ::: THIRD FLOOR ::: Third floor is where the magic happens for me-- large fitness room with tremendous views of the mountains. Sign ups required for all fit classes during winter season. Can reserve a spot up to 24 hrs ahead. They will wait list prior to full classes-- a warm-up for Sundance, I suppose. Most notably for me Butts&Guts (and sometimes Buns&Guns). Put these names on the merch and I will bite-- just adore the fun, catchy, edgy names. Generically shorthand the classes as'BeeGees' for short. Which also perfectly captures the sentiment of pushing through the wall to keep doing 'burpies' and other variations on push-ups until you cannot breath anymore because all your classmates are encouraging each other: Feel the city breakin' and everybody shakin', And we're stayin' alive, stayin' alive. Ah, ha, ha, ha, stayin' alive, stayin' alive. Exercising as part of a team collective mentality really allows you to push yourself without suffering-- you just zone out and keep working hard. Also on third floor- changing rooms with lockers and showers. Very clean and well-kept. Lots of people get ready there before leaving to divert fractions of pennies at Initech after they workout. Hand sanitizers and kleenex boxes scattered everywhere. There is also an executive membership with a private locker room area and a laundry service. Like many rooms of the original Apple IIe's Castle Wolfenstein, I have never made it past the lock code box on door so as to witness the splendor. It's VIPs eyes only. So much I consider it hidden but not quite Platform Nine and Three-Quarters of the Potterverse. ::: THE BOSU ::: Favorite part of my most favorite class (Butts&Guts) is the Bosu. What is this Bosu you ask? Cue infomercial here: Bosu is marketed as a balance trainer but it is much, much more. Bosu is an alien UFO saucer disc thingy that is 26 inches in diameter and looks like a big blue egg yolk. The name 'Bosu' is an acronym: Both Sides Utilized. You stand on it and try to keep your balance while following instructor-led exercises as it keeps wobbling ever so slightly. This Bosu wobble is the special sauce-- an element of instability that creates an added layer of complexity and challenge during the exercises making it so much fun!
