This past Saturday, I tweaked my back while snowboarding. For the next few days I alternated ice and heat and did some gentle stretching, but nothing was really touching the pain. I'd noticed Stretch Labs popping up and remembered how amazing assisted stretching feels after a tough workout, so I figured it was worth a try. They offer a great intro special: 50 minutes of assisted stretching for $59 (first-time clients only). If you love it, there are several monthly packages depending on how often you'd like to go. All I can say is wow. My flexologist, Bre, was fantastic. Yes, there was some discomfort during the deeper stretches--but it was that "good pain" that lets you know it's working. By the end of the session, roughly 40-50% of my back pain and stiffness was gone. Just one visit and I already feel dramatically better. I can't wait to go back! Highly recommend giving Stretch Labs a shot if you're dealing with tightness or minor tweaks. read more

SCAM -- SHAME ON STRETCHLAB I've been going to Stretchlab for about 8 months now. They always pressed me to buy packages of four stretches which would discount the cost of each stretch. The downside was that the stretch credits were use it or lose it. They expire each month. I decided to forego the discount to avoid the expiring credit problem. I recently paid for one stretch and scheduled. My schedule shifted and I have been trying to find a new date. Today I got a call to help me schedule. Then for the first time ever the girl mentioned that my credit will expire in a few days. It is aggressive but ultimately ok that Stretchlab holds my money interest free and will not refund it. But on top of that, if I can't reschedule fast enough they just keep the money?!!! That's BS. I hope Stretchlab goes out of business and the owners get what they deserve in the afterlife. read more

The service is fine. The contract is a complete ripoff. They lock you into 3 months, which was not made clear when I signed up at the Summerlin Tivoli Village location. In fact, I was told that I could get out of it after one month, no problem. Then it comes time to renew, and I balk because although the stretching helped, it's not worth the ridiculous $329 a month fee. The fact is, they mislead me. I should have known something was up when it was impossible to find rates and fees on the website. I asked to switch to the less expensive 30-minute plan to save some money and was flatly rejected. So I'm stuck with a $1000 dollar bill for about 10 hours of "work" on their part. Ripoff. Don't go. Just go to a yoga class instead. read more

I am definitely recommending StretchLab to everyone trying to work on their fitness journey as well people trying to get started. The assisted stretching is pivotal and extremely helpful no matter where you are on your journey. Jeremy is very knowledgeable and intuitive not to mention patient. I was having issues walking from muscle soreness and spasms, by the time he was done helping me I felt as though I could lift legs again (I definitely didn't to continue healing lol). The studio was difficult to find due to a street closure, and when I called for help, no one answered though staff was present at the front desk when I arrived. I arrived a few minutes late, which I understand affected the time for the body scan, but the session still felt rushed overall. I waited afterward to see if another client was booked, but no one else came in. As a first-time client, the lack of communication and customer service was disappointing. Las Vegas is so full of cons and scams, that you really have to be careful. I replied to a cheap promo of this place and took a session. When I walked out, the guy at the desk spoke to me about having more, I was like sure, I'll do another one and he somehow convinced me to pay for it in advance and I didn't mind. Days later, I found out they bound me to a contract when I did that. I've been sending e-mails and made phone calls to get them to get me out of this contract that I was unaware of and to refund me the money I paid in advance so we can go our separate ways and they refuse to grant my request. Their business is doing so badly that they have to slick a person into a contract and keep their money. Ex gymnast coming through! This was my 2nd stretch at a stretch Lab; the first being in another town in CA and only an abbreviated version of this one at the Summerlin location in NV. I've been feeling the need to have passive stretching done like my gymnastics days when coach's and teammates helped before and after workouts and meets. Now I crave the same thing post workouts/hikes I take. Everything here was more than I could've hoped for from the front desk staff to the flexologist. They were all warm and professional and the flexologist was able to properly assess the strengths and weaknesses to best target my stretch needs. My husband joined Stretchlab the first week it opened. He came home raving about how much more flexible he was. You see his hips are frozen. Lauren was a wonderful stretchologist! She explained everything clearly, walked me through each stretch, explained what I should and shouldn't be feeling I.e pain vs. stretching. She was patient, kind, understanding, and personable. The area was clean, smelled nice, and appropriately temperature controlled. A little area to sit while you're waiting, parking (when I called to ask for clarification) was easy and just as they explained. The service is pricey, and overall it did help me feel better. I visited StretchLab while in Vegas for work from NYC. After a long flight and less than ideal night of sleep, a stretch at StretchLab is an absolute must. And highly recommend Gerardo, who stretched me out in a way that was targeted for people traveling and soreness that comes with long flights. They weren't pushy on membership because they know I'm not local, but worked with me on a package that makes sense so I can come again next time I'm in town. I seriously recommend this for travelers - it's well worth the 15 minute uber from the strip and made me feel so much better in order to enjoy the rest of my time in Vegas.
