Trainers are truly the best: they tell you what and how to do the exercises and use the equipment. They push you to do your best. They really motivate you! Multiple options to buy membership for a class or the gym overall. There is plenty of parking spots, as the gym itself locates inside the apartment complex building.

Shout out to Raj for being so helpful and accommodating-- I did the cold plunge super early in the morning and felt so refreshed before work! I booked the earliest slot session they had for the morning and it felt great being able to sweat it all out before heading into work-- I felt alert and awake afterwards. Parking: there's parking you can park outside of the garage when you turn in that's free and you don't need a permit Secure building: A code is needed in order to get into the building to go up into the elevator to get to the class/gym which is good since random strangers would need the code Very aesthetic place with lightings! They also have a pool outside which was very relaxing and perfect after a workout session if you want to cool down.

FNS Training Center - Santa Clara…read more I recently dropped in for a 5AM class at FNS, and even from just one session, it's clear this place is built different. Right away, I noticed the tight-knit camaraderie. There's a strong sense of community that honestly feels even more connected than other group fitness gyms like F45. As a first-timer, I felt welcomed from the start. The energy is on another level. The headset mic system helps amplify coaching across the large floor space, making the session feel clear and high-energy. Coach Brenden's shout-outs during the workout were electric--you could tell everyone was feeding off it. After class, Kim at the front desk was incredibly helpful--she walked me through a tour and went over my InBody results in detail. That kind of individual attention isn't something you always get, and it really stood out. My wife joined me for the class too (she had to rush out early since she works in Menlo by 6:30 AM), but we were both impressed by the vibe and professionalism. On a personal note--I've admired Brian Nunez from afar since meeting him a couple of times back in the 2006-2008 Club One / Active Sports Club days. It felt full-circle finally stepping into the space he's built. He's become a truly respected leader in the fitness industry, and FNS absolutely reflects that vision. As someone turning 40 this year, raising a 4-year-old and a teen, and down 70+ lbs since April 2024, fitness isn't just about reps for me--it's about reclaiming my life. FNS brings that intention, energy, and leadership I respect deeply. Whether you're starting fresh or leveling up--FNS is the real deal.

I can foresee myself staying at FNS for a long time and look forward to future results ;)

The parking here can be difficult during the day, and I used to have to park pretty far from the studio, but all the retail parking is vacant at 6am! The SAs here are hit or miss, but generally helpful and pleasant. I like the layout because each of the stations, treads, rowers, and weights, are in a row so there are no weird angles or bad spots for viewing the VVA monitors or the metrics screens or for the coach to see you. And they have a super well-organized and labeled auxiliary weight rack in the middle of the rower row. I also like the extra padded floor they have in the weight floor row, though watch your step because it's elevated about an inch and half from the rest of the floor. I've never encountered a full class here before, but I also tend to go during off peak hours. Coaching is enthusiastic and friendly as well, especially Coach Kelsey, though I think she is full time at Sunnyvale now.

Parking was easy to find, as the studio is located near shops and apartment buildings. When I checked in at the front desk, the staff and coach were welcoming and gave me a clear rundown of how the class works. There are lockers to secure your belongings. The class was about 90% full, and we were given the choice to start on either the treadmill or the rower/weights station. The workout is highly customizable--you can choose your pace and weight, so the intensity is entirely up to you. The coach kept an eye on everyone and provided guidance and announcements throughout the session. I enjoyed the background music as that definitely kept the energy up. At the end, the staff gave me the pricing details. Overall, I enjoyed the experience and would recommend Orangetheory to anyone looking to get into fitness. However, I'm not sure I'll return, as I personally prefer more personalized training over group classes.

I'm prone to muscle spasms in my neck and back, and these can be very painful, limit my physical activities, and prevent me from sleeping. Since I've been going to StretchLab, there's been a noticeable improvement. Most of my sessions have been with Esteban. He has a great understanding of muscle spasms and how to release them, and he provides blessed relief! He also works on various muscles to improve my range of motion. I particularly appreciate that I am always in control. Esteban ensures the pressure he applies is at a level I'm comfortable with. We communicate throughout the session so I walk out having received exactly what I needed. I've also seen Melfred, who is equally excellent. Really, everyone here is super nice and since the bios for the flexologists are on the website, it's it easy to choose a flexologist that's exactly the right fit. This Stretc Lab is very clean, and I've seen them clean the tables between clients. Their app makes scheduling super easy, but appointments can be made over the phone too, and the employees at the front desk are always friendly and helpful.

Bay Club thinks of itself like some kind of big-shot, but many of its locations are managed worse than a low-scale budget gym. Members are treated like cash cows, while serious complaints (including sexual harassment) are brushed aside and invalidated. I was a member and visited many of its South Bay and Bay Area locations, including Santa Clara, Los Gatos, Redwood Shores, San Francisco, Gateway, Fremont, Pleasanton, Walnut Creek, and Boulder Ridge Golf Club. Out of all of them, Fremont was the only location I found remotely acceptable. The others had major issues. Paying members: Members are treated like cash cows. Bay Club puts a price on everything, constantly raises membership rates, and still fails to provide the quality of service, competent management, or basic respect those prices should buy. Respectful members: To the respectful and considerate members: hats off to you. Thank you for contributing to positive experiences. Sexual harassment: Unfortunately, these respectful members are often overshadowed by several creepy individuals whose behavior management is unwilling to address. As a result, the overall environment, especially at Santa Clara, SF, and Redwood Shores, could feel like a petri dish for creeps because their behavior remains unaddressed. Management absolutely does not take action when concerns about sexual harassment are raised; they are only concerned assessing whether the situation could result in a lawsuit. Management: Management routinely invalidates members' concerns instead of addressing them seriously. Santa Clara's manager, Laurie Miner, also appeared never to be present on site. I was told that she barely visited the gym and primarily worked from home. Just like many wrote here on Yelp, her responses have been quite shady for years. Employees: Many employees are inexperienced and unable to answer very simple questions about their own gym. It feels as though Bay Club intentionally hires interns to cut costs. Pickleball: Some of the serious players act very arrogantly. A shared club facility should not be treated like a private court reserved for a self-appointed elite group. Locker-room: Too many members behave as though they are in a private bathhouse, with little regard for normal boundaries and shared-space etiquette. Bay Club may look polished from the outside, but behind the branding is a very poor management. For the amount of money they charge, the experience was absolutely not worth it.
