She's patient, she listens, and she is very smart. We've done dry needling, cupping, ultrasound therapy, and I think electrical muscle stimulation, along with programming and exercises both at PT and for me to do at home. The gym itself is cool - it's not fully done but I enjoy it even as is! I've taken one of Anthony's group fitness classes and it was difficult, but so much fun. They definitely have a good thing going here and I'm looking forward to seeing it grow!

First time on the reformer and I was in for a ride! Hitting the stairs in hyde park heading to car was such a task. The reformer is operated from both ends, there are multiple gadgets to alter the tension on the pulley. There is also gadgets to help with modifications. There are optional weights. The room is pretty dark with cool neon blue lights, sort of help with focus. I do feel like half way through, the AC could've been pumped up a bit. I'd suggest wearing no socks, unless grippers and long leggings because the leather on the reformer can get slippery from sweat and you know other people's sweat to consider from previous classes - though there are wipes! There's no actual demonstrations, so be sure to listen to the instructions verbally being stated. As a first timer, it took a while to understand some of the names of the pieces of the reformers but Jodi, our instructor, was motivating, energetic, and helped assist when necessary. No idea how she did all at once lol Jodi had a great playlist as well. There is a code emailed to those schedule for the class because the door stays lock for safety. There are lockers for your things - I didn't know how to work it, so I, like many, brought there things in the room and stored it under the reformer and out the way. The bathroom has all the necessities - spray deodorant, tampons, hair supplies, and more.

He was very motivating and kept me engaged throughout the class even though I was definitely feeling the burn I was still motivated to give it all I had! Even after the class he was open to giving further help one classmate had a question about something and he stayed to offer solutions, just something I noticed and I thought that was good to highlight.

I feel like I always get her name wrong, but Catherine at the front desk is so kind and attentive. Lots of great coaches. My go-to coaches are Jordan (constantly nurturing and encouraging you throughout the class) and Holly (tough love all the way. She knows for a fact you can do it. She believes in you 100%).

Once I did, I pretty much booked that same hotel so I could have an awesome workout here. Coach Pepper is encouraging, understanding, and actually *coaches* you on technique and form (and for me -- being so new, this was important). I knew that when on one of my first two days there, my shoulder was bothering me -- he took me off the floor and put me on crossover symmetry right away (v. familiar with) ... that's when I knew that this would be my gym for as long as I was in Tampa. The athletes here are very friendly and welcoming, and the camaraderie is great. I'm not sure what my future CF holds in my hometown of CLT as I'm worried I won't find another place like CFDH.
