I feel that Mosteller is no different, but that is just me) Second Chance; A few days later I brought my mother-in-law (s) car in to have the rear lighting panel repaired as the only light that was working was the right rear brake light. A couple days later Mosteller called and said that they had repaired the issue, charged Mrs Warren a ridiculous amount. When we brought the car home, the same scenario, nothing worked (I know, I should have checked it before I left the garage) so I had to bring the car back and explained the situation. When the mechanic came out to check the matter, he had to remove the entire panel whereupon I saw that several of the tail lights were NOT replaced and that the light sockets were "corroded." (proves my point about mechanics) They repair was shoddy and incompetent, I was appalled! These guys are supposed to be ASE Certified... wish the experience would have been better.

Living in Marvin, I'm used to getting ripped off by the brand name tire stores lining the Waxhaw Marvin / Providence Rd route. Most of them can't even road force balance tires, but Black's can. For brakes on my Nissan Titan, they offered the NAPA silentguard and installed them for $209 out the door. Every other tire shop closer to me wants $450+ for the same job, telling you how much they are marking up their labor. Hell, even the dealer was going to charge me $329, and I was shocked that it was less than the other shops but at least there, I expect the Dealer to rip me off. If you live in Waxhaw/Marvin and need tires and service for your vehicle, I am telling you to drive the extra 20 minutes and get down to Monroe and see these guys. They are nice, honest, and really quality work. Also have a well equipped waiting room with WIFI so it's easy to work while I get my car serviced. Thanks team - you guys are the best local pros!

After I had it towed to Almar, Frank called me back & asked if I had seen the car, which was strange since I bought it new as a retirement gift for myself in 1995 just before retiring from the Marine Corps. Frank said that the car had a broken mirror and a bad tire, etc. Basically, he refused to install an engine. I asked Almar to install an engine, not tires or mirrors. I guess my car didn't meet Frank's standard. Another dealer will install the engine for $900.00 cheaper. Thanks, Almar.

There was a clear agreement regarding compensation for services rendered, and we upheld our end of that agreement. Payment methods and branding were discussed between both parties, and at no point were concerns formally raised or resolved before payment was withheld. If there were issues or misunderstandings, we were and still are open to addressing them professionally. Unfortunately, after the work was completed, our calls and emails went unanswered, and the agreed-upon payment was not made. We would prefer to resolve this directly and professionally rather than through public comments.
