I have always shied away from traditional gyms as I felt they were intimidating and overwhelming with all the various workout equipment and no knowledge of how to use any of it. I had tried other boutique fitness programs but always felt like an outsider or the "odd man out" in an exclusive club I clearly wasn't considered a part of as the "newbie". STRIDE is SO FAR removed from that experience that it doesn't even seem fair to compare them. From the moment you walk through the doors you are welcomed as if you were walking into your closest friend or families home. Not only is the staff exceptionally helpful and warm, but I was blown away by watching the members interact with each other - celebrating each others successes and milestones and even openly chatting about their struggles and giving support on how to overcome various challenges. I was pleasantly surprised when the person in the treadmill beside me introduced themselves and said how happy they were I was there, and I was even more surprised when the coach announced it was my first class and everyone openly cheered and clapped for me. Normally something like that would embarrass me, but it came across so genuine I couldn't help but feel proud of myself in that moment, and it actually nearly brought me to tears - Something I still couldn't fully explain to you as to why. Maybe because it's so rare to find a group of people who truly make you feel like you are "one of them" and accepted? If you have had bad experiences in the past with ANY type of gym, if you feel intimated by the thought of stepping through the doors of one you've never been to before, if you are worried about feeling accepted as you are by a group of strangers, I implore you to give STRIDE a try as I KNOW all of your reservations will melt away within seconds of you entering their studio, and I'd be willing to bet you'll will find the fitness family you never knew you wanted and frankly one I don't know how I'd do my fitness journey without at this point. I could tell you about how I am in the best shape of my life at the age of 36 and after after a spinal fusion surgery less than 2 years ago. I could tell you how I finally have lost the nagging 7 lbs since my son was born 13 years ago. I could tell you about how their workout programs are NOT just for runners but walkers and people of all shapes and fitness capabilities and in fact many of their workouts include strength training with weights...but honestly the inclusive atmosphere is what keeps me coming back, what I find to be the thing I am MOST grateful for, and what I would give 100 stars for 10 times over as a review if I could. read more

I love this gym! The staff is super helpful and the coaches are extremely motivating and care about your progress and goals. The owners are awesome and are very involved with operations and take classes(the coaches do too!) along side their members. The gym and the bathrooms are always super clean and sanitary. You are made to feel like a part of the family from day one. I did not feel intimidated at all. The workouts are modifiable based on your fitness level, whether you're a walker or seasoned runner. There are a few types of classes that incorporate core work, or strengthening exercises along with treadmill intervals. There's also a class that's entirely treadmill intervals. I have gone for several weeks and haven't had an exact repeat of a class, so there's plenty of variety. Stride has an app where you can schedule your classes, choose your assigned treadmill, and track your progress. I highly recommend giving this gym a try. We are like a family and celebrate every success, big or small. I joined at the end of August and have lost 55lbs and counting as of March. Come try a free class! You won't regret it! read more

I've been going to STRIDE Fitness for 15 months, and it is the best HIIT workout I've ever done. I've dropped 20 lbs and gained lean muscle and have eliminated a number of nagging health issues. STRIDE focuses on heart-rate HIIT classes, and they offer a wide variety of classes for all fitness levels and ages. They do theme classes, challenges, team events and charitable classes as well to keep it fresh and fun. I like getting my class workout summaries so I can track my progress over time. The staff cares and works hard to provide a great experience from the moment you walk in the door. It is you vs you and the focus is on starting and finishing together. I did a drop it challenge and am now in a 5k training program and have benefitted tremendously from both. Your first class is always free! This place LITERALLY CHANGED MY LIFE- I was always a fan of running but never great at it. I run for fun not for the podium. After being a member here for 8 months, I list 40lb and made a ton of friends! Honestly, the networking and relationships are the best thing about this place! I've never felt more supported and accepted at a gym!! The coaches are all amazing, they truly want you to succeed and work as hard as you can to get to your goals, and again, the support is unreal.
